AMAZING!! First time trying Szechuan food and truly nothing that could beat this place. Visited twice (with friends and myself) and overall the experience has always been good both times. Spice levels are exactly where I need them to be (super duper spicy). Would absolutely recommend for a dinner date with family/ friends! Quick service as well :)

My favorite hotpot place in the triangle. I love that they have so many vegetable and meat options. You can choose 1/2 flavors of the soup and they continue to top off the broth once it boils down. It can get a little noisy and the ventilation isn't great. They are pretty quick when they're not busy, but the place easily fills up and you may have to wait for your orders. At the end of the meal, they give you a sweet tapioca dessert which is really refreshing.

We came here for lunch after a workout and we were not disappointed! There's no longer hot pot but the Szechuan style menu was endless. We were even given an iPad that contained pictures of all the food. We ordered scallion pancakes, okra, cucumber salad, tofu soup, and fish. Quantities were huge and everything was delicious. The soup was enough for like 8 people... although I drank most of it. The okra and cucumber salad were probably my favorite items but honestly everything was wonderful. My friends enjoyed the fish. I can't wait to come back!

Oh wow. When they said their level of spice was higher than other places they truly meant it. If you are a member of weenie hut jr like myself , but have friends who love that tongue of fire, spicy oils, and craziness.... Well this is a good place for them. For us, go get the coconut water to help ease the pain. The fish and food is delicious though. That fish is totally worth it even with the high spice level.

The spicy whole fish was good. Fresh fish and good flavor. It's pretty expensive (around $60) but the portion is large. Their soup dumplings were mediocre--skin was too thick

My Chinese friend took us here for an early dinner on Sunday. She said it's very authentic middle China food. I got try recipes that I never tried before. The fish pot was very flavorful. And the fish was sliced very thin but still had a slight chewy bite to it which I enjoyed. I'm glad it didn't have any bones. There were big chili peppers. But it wasn't spicy. They were fried well and it was just adding the flavor. The chicken and frog on the other hand didn't have bones which was expected. It came in a very tasty peanut gravy. We ordered a traditional Chinese dessert with jelly, some syrup and dried fruits that included raisins. It wasn't too sweet but refreshing. The service was fast. The atmosphere was fancy and inviting. The staff were courteous. It checks all the boxes. Definitely try it for some authentic food.

I came here on a Sunday around 5 pm and it was pretty much empty. I didn't really know what I was expecting when I came here other than Chinese food, but this was probably one of the best more authentic Chinese restaurants I've been to (mind you that the only Chinese restaurants I've really been to on a regular basis are the Americanized ones)! We started with some of the cold jelly in sweet soup dessert which was good - although it came in a plastic container. The jelly along with the brown sugar, sesame seeds, and dried fruit was really good. It was sweet, but everything meshed together well. We also had the durian charpati, which tasted great with the durian inside the charpati, which was cooked perfectly. It had a nice salty and sweet balance to the cooked dough, and the durian filling was soft and tasty. For the main course, I had the fatty beef sour soup and miao jia sour fish pot with rice. The sour fish pot had such a terrific flavour - it was tangy and I could taste different things as I continued eating it. Not too salty either. The white fish went well with it. I really loved the beef soup, the beef tasted fatty and soft, with a small spicy taste to it. There were a lot of bean sprouts and other veggies in it too. A variety of small flavours in the soup too that works well with the beef. The meats in both were soft but still cooked enough that the texture was still crispy in a sense. Got rice refills as needed. One pot definitely can fill up two people. Our waitress was very nice too, coming to help us whenever it was needed and spoke in both Mandarin and English which was useful for my party. I really enjoyed my time here and would come again; I was impressed by the taste and flavour of the food. I really don't get why reviews are so bad here, but maybe there's something I'm missing since I'm not that knowledgeable about this kind of cuisine. Or maybe I just came when it was super empty so they didn't have to rush anything.

Just had lunch here. The fried rice dishes were good and the spicy chicken dish was legit. An hour later and my mouth is still tingling!
