My son, Mike, requested Goldberg's NY Bagels for his birthday family gathering. I have to say that they were delicious. Service was great, I walked in and was warmly greeted. They have some unusual bagel flavors and the French toast is my new favorite flavor. It really tastes like a piece of French toast. I bought sesame, everything flavor, pumpernickel, French toast, and a bialy. Everyone loved their bagels. I also bought lox spread, scallion cream cheese, and plain cream cheese. The spreads were really tasty. But, they didn't have a huge amount in stock. Prices were reasonable. It is a clean and well organized restaurant with tables and seats, incase you want to enjoy your meals there. They have a variety of sandwich choices as well. It was very nice and I would go back for more bagels and spreads. I apologize I was so busy organizing and hosting that I forgot to take pictures.

I stumbled upon this bagel shop while I was dropping off a clothing donation nearby. It is in a plaza well off of Rockville Pike. It looked like a diamond in the rough, so I decided to try it. I approached the counter and had to squint to see the menu--so tiny (my eyes aren't great but this was way too small)! I asked questions of the two cashiers--one ignored me and pointed to the other guy, who helpfully answered my questions. I learned that they don't have real meat (bacon, ham) and instead have meat substitutes. But they do cook their eggs to order for sandwiches so decided that route. I got my bagel sandwich to go. It was an ok sandwich. I tried to ignore the lack of meat which normally makes a perfect bagel sandwich trifecta for me, but it was overall not amazing. The bagel wasn't buttered, the cheese was maybe mozzarella? as it was stringy, the egg was good, but the bagel didn't have that great crunch you might have from a true NY bagel. I can't say I'll return.

I had a fantastic experience at Goldberg's! This business is extremely vegan friendly offering two different types of Tofutti dairy free cream cheese and a wide selection of vegan bagels.Goldberg's has a lot of seating space. When you enter you place your order at the counter and then can wait in the other room for your order to come out. My husband and I both ordered everything bagels. One had plain Tofutti cream cheese and the other had chive Tofutti cream cheese. We both enjoyed the plain Tofutti more but both were great. The bagel was well toasted and nice and soft to bite into. There was certainly a generous portion size of cream cheese. We both enjoyed our bagels and were full till lunch.Goldberg's menu also has Impossible products and many veggie sandwich options. I definitely want to return to try more of their vegan offerings.

I like this place. It has a humble interior but it feels authentic to me for some reason. I ordered an everything bagel with lox and the works plus sprouts. It was a little expensive but delicious. I'm sure I'll go back when I get the craving.

They didn't accept cards under a certain amount. Not a big deal. I had enough cash but I was 5 cents short. They made me run out to my car and rummage through my seats over 5 cents! What a bunch of cheap people! Super weird.

The bagels and coffee are okay. We enjoyed going here while our child was at swim class nearby ... until our daughter got stuck in the corner of 2 benches and we found a couple of dead roaches down there Most likely won't be going back

Nice little Kosher bagel place. The man behind the front counter is always so friendly and greets you with a big smile. The food is pretty solid. I've had their egg salad before a couple of times and they definitely but a pretty decent amount on it.As a New Yorker (Long Islander) myself, I would just say that they are not as good as New York bagels but so far they are the top bagels in Maryland that I've had.

I won't be back. Whoever the older employee was who saw me pouring a second cup or coffee and said I need to pay half price for it was extremely rude. He pointed to the sign above the coffee canister and said: see there's the sign. I've been coming here for the last several months and had enjoyed the experience but his behavior was uncalled for. When I went to pay for my 2nd cup I said: can I make a suggestion? He said: no not now. He would not allow me to talk until he was ready. Then when he was ready I simply suggested that when customers order coffee to let them know that there aren't free refills. I told him that not everyone is going to see the sign. Then he went on some long diatribe instead of kindly just taking in my feedback. My friend that joined me has been a long time customer of this establishment and she got a 2'nd cup of coffee and also didn't know there weren't free refills. Case in point: My suggestion should be taken seriously.

Been going here for years now, but stopped in this morning to get breakfast and felt compelled to write a review. The server we had was great and the sandwich I had was spectacular. I got an everything bagel with scallion CC, tomato, onion, cucumber, and lettuce. So tasty and will always support this business!

After doing business with Goldbergs for more than 10 years I am done. There may be a new owner now and they are weighing the cream cheese in the containers. It looks like the cream cheese has been scooped out. The price on the package says .50 a pound but it weighs 7.8 ounces for $6.50. They are purposely reducing the amount of product for profit. This doesn't happen at Bethesda Bagels.
