Gold Clover Bar

Friendly, neighborhood dive bar that I discovered after a night of karaoke. Plays 90s/2000s hip hop and r&b. I appreciate the cozy vibe, and my margarita hit the spot. Will be back!

Some of you follow DJs and party promoters around town.... I follow bartenders. Gold Clover Bar is the newest neighborhood spot that has taken over the old Truxton Inn space. It's right across the street from Uncaged Mimosas. The neon sign is easy to spot, and they're currently open everyday from 5pm-2am. The first thing you see is a Midnight Marauders poster... Like, how is that not the most welcoming thing ever?! The bar itself has plenty of seats, but there are a bunch of high tables and mini lounge areas too. The menu is pretty simple, featuring beers, wines, and beer/shot combos. But Antoine is able to pretty much make anything. He's been doing this kind of thing for a while, so just ask -- and whenever he's present you know the music is gonna be on point! They don't have their own food, but you are more than welcome to bring in food from anywhere. There is a sandwich shop next door, but they close around 4 in the days they're open. KoChix is right across the street too :).This new bar is a vibe and I will most certainly be returning just to hang out. Do the same if you're around!

Amazing neighborhood dive bar! Black owned, sophisticated decor, and amazing drinks. There was one bartender working and he was able to keep up with all the orders. Service was 10/10!

I love a good, cozy bar where you can just chill and vibe out. Golden Clover is just that.Immediately once I walked in here, I felt a sense of comfort. The space is small enough to feel intimate but large enough to not feel suffocating. The space is dim lit, enough to be relaxing without feeling like you're in the nightlife trenches. There is seating along the perimeter provides great seating options for groups, but there is also ample bar seating as well. I also love the vinyl collection on display as well as the growing, communal library.The bartenders are awesome as well and are great and making the bar feel like a community. Definitely will be adding Golden Clover into the rotation this summer!

I stopped by for the first time on Saturday afternoon and it was a great vibe and experience. Lots of different seating options from bar, table and couches. There's also TVs making it a great spot to watch a game. The service was awesome and Antwan was super personable, checking on us and just ensuring we were good while there. Looking forward to coming back soon.

The very definition of a neighborhood bar. Antoine is the man. Surprisingly great cocktails, it's lit for sports, and combos are legit.

A friend recommended this bar. Said it was fairly new but the ambience, staff, and overall vibe were definitely something to experience. When you walk in, it's a bit dim however, the decor and vinyl records on the wall are very memorable and a great site. Antoine, our bartender was very kind, personable, and let us know that the bar had only been open for six months. The bar being fairly new to the neighborhood, it was packed with lively people, and you could tell everyone was enjoying themselves. The cocktails were exceptionally good. They also have a patio!No food is served here, however, you can bring outside food to eat.

Loving the vibe this bar is bringing to the neighborhood. Great drinks and friendly staff. Came here to hang and watch a game. Has a nice outdoor patio as well. Happy we have this bar in our neighborhood.

10/10 bar with lots of seating options (including tons of outdoor). A little hidden but such a gem! Bar tenders were super nice and could make anything. Beer & shot combos. Really friendly staff and cool decor/vibe. You can bring your own food here! Recommend for a big or small group. The 90 bus stop is right outside for easy transport home. The bar is accessible and has low table and side table options and a variety of chairs/benches. Bathrooms were big. LGBTQ friendly.

One of my favorite bars in the city hands down. Relaxed and unpretentious neighborhood bar with a diverse crowd, it's one of my go too's to escape when I'm in the area. Great service, the drinks are priced just right and the patio outside is a great addition in the warmer months, it's a gem of a spot
