Awesome place for KBBQ and it is cheaper than fan favorite Kogiya, equally good sauce that goes with the meat unlike other bbq places and offers more. 1. Reservation: a must Or else you'll have to wait at least 20-30 mins on a normal night and much longer on evenings. 2. Food: 4.5 stars- delicious, their AYCE price is a bit cheaper than others. - they do have extra options like fried chicken! - I also like they ask if you want the soup or not. Other places just bring it and when people don't drink the soup, it is just a waste. I like they bring if you want instead of just bring to all. 3. Drinks: goodfun mixed drinks are available, which is an upside over others. 4. Ambience: less loud, not much stinky smell from bbq I hate going to kbbq for 1 reason: the smell on clothes, body and hair. You have to shower and do full on laundry and that is so much work! HERE, however, it was not like that. This is why it is amazing here. 5. Service: sometimes a bit absent minded and we have to remind twice for everything.

This is a very fun KBBQ spot in Alexandria.Food - Great, their all-you-can-eat has lots of different options. They have 3 sauces, and all 3 are at least decent. The brisket is good, the steaks (regular and marinated) were good too, and the bulgogis were good as well. The Hawaiian bulgogi, if you're wondering, is just bulgogi but a bit sweeter.Service - GoodParking - They have a parking lot outside.Overall, this place is great.

This is my go to place for lunchtime Korean bbq. For $20 per person, you can't go wrong here. And unlike other Korean bbq places, it's unlimited steamed egg and soup. And the offer is good until 5 pm too! If you haven't already tried, the pork kalbi is a must too!

Heard about this new spot via Tiktok. Went on a Friday night around 6pm-wait time was only 15 minutes! it was very busy but the server was amazing!!! shoutout to Sabrina! The menu is packed with a bunch of meats to try! my favorite side was the steamed egg! The vibe is casual and friendly. Keep in mind there is a 16 % tip auto included. for 2 people it will fall under 100-110 range for dinner drinks included.

This is our go-to spot for Korean BBQ. The wait usually isn't too long, and we love all the sides--especially the cheesy corn, salad etc. The meats are always good, and they usually cook for you, which is always nice. It's always a great time!

It was Saturday night when we visited and we had 5-10mins wait. The staff has a good system that makes everything so easy from dining process, ordering, to checking out. The crew who was assisting us, ace it. The place is huge and could handle big groups indeed. If you are more than 8pax highly suggest to do reservation below than you could easily walk-in and wait. It looks neat inside and you can also see how they prepare their meat. The menu has a lot of options. From beef, chicken, pork, and seafood. They have $32 (Adult) on weekend and options were pretty decent. We received a complimentary Melona (ice cream) when we checked out too. Just note that the gratuity is automatically charged, this might be because of the service you will receive wherein they take care of your food from serving to cooking it. Overall experience was really good.

On a freezing Friday night, bae and I decided to check out Gogi Friends in Alexandria, VA. Parking was a breeze (thank you, cold weather), and the restaurant was fairly quiet--just a small birthday party adding some lively energy to the otherwise chill vibe.We were seated quickly, but when we got to our table, we noticed a few side dishes already waiting for us: salad, a broccoli mix, and a sauce dish. Naturally, we wondered if these were leftovers or freshly set. Our server joked about it being leftovers before clarifying they'd placed them just as we arrived. Suspicious timing, but hey, we were hungry and rolled with it.The server handed us a QR code for the menu and mentioned that if we had questions, we could ask. When bae asked about the process, the answers were vague at best. Thankfully, I'd been to Korean BBQ before, so I gave bae the lowdown: * You can order unlimited meat, but only three types at a time. * Unlimited sides include rice, vegetables, steamed egg, soybean paste soup, and corn cheese (your first order of corn cheese is free, and trust me, you'll want more). * It's $32 per person for the unlimited experience--a great deal if you pace yourself. We chose spicy chicken, Hawaiian bulgogi, and marinated steak for our first round. The marinated steak was the clear winner--perfectly tender and flavorful. The Hawaiian bulgogi was decent, though it could've used more seasoning (easily fixed with a little sauce). As for the spicy chicken, it was just okay--not spicy enough and a little underwhelming overall. The star of the night? The corn cheese. If you've never had it, it's creamy, cheesy perfection. Don't even try to share--order your own because you'll want every bite. We skipped the steamed egg (it didn't look very appetizing) and filled up on rice, meat, and the small veggie portions. Speaking of sides, the portions are small by design, but you can always ask for refills.By the end of our first round, we were stuffed and didn't go back for more. At $32 per person, though, we still felt like we got our money's worth. Our total came to $80.64, which included an auto-tip of $12.80 and $3.64 in taxes.Pros: * Great value for unlimited Korean BBQ. * The marinated steak and corn cheese are must-haves. * Fast seating and attentive service.Cons: * Servers don't explain the process thoroughly, so first-timers might feel a little lost. * Side dish portions are small, but you can request more.Final Verdict:Gogi Friends is like the Fogo de Chão of Korean BBQ--an all-you-can-eat feast with quality meats and a fun, interactive experience. If you love Korean BBQ or are curious to try it, this is a solid spot to visit. Just come prepared to order strategically and save room for the corn cheese!Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I skip the chicken and double up on steak? 100%.

Love the AYCE $20 weekday lunch special cause that's so hard to find anywhere nowadays...Like that they have a lot of flavors for their beef and pork but I think their beef dishes like brisket and bulgogi were okay. We tried the hawaiian bulgogi and it was just regular bulgogi with pineapple that made it sweeter than it normally was. Really appreciate how big the portions are for the beef though! We tried their thin sliced and soy miso pork bellies as well and can say for sure they excel more in their pork belly than beef. Service was good and quick, the waiter was attentive and would ask if we needed any refills on the side dishes. Their steamed egg was pretty good! The soybean tofu soup was just okay. Overall, would definitely come back if I was craving AYCE KBBQ but maybe for a lunch only.

Ambiance: (5/5) Great seating that is spread out so you don't feel cramped. Price: (4/5) Prices are average for the area. Food: (3/5) The options are fairly limited for beef. I felt like a spicy beef bulgogi is very standard. I really enjoyed the marinated steak and spicy pork bulgogi. The chicken options are also fairly limited. The sides were typical, but they ran out of kimchi which was disappointing. I feel like that is a very popular side dish they should always have back stock of. Service: (3/5) Service was okay. I had to ask for things like water, an extra side, or more sauce a few times before I got them.
