I love the crab fried rice! I have also tried the sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls 10/10, jasmine tea and prawns. The service is good, fast and quick. Fine dining. $$ you're gonna spend some money but you'll leave happy so that's all that matters Decor is wonderful, very clean, well kept. You will feel the breeze from the door in the main hall openings as people come and go from casino but it's not bad.

I had high hopes for Ginger at the MGM, but unfortunately, it fell flat. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either--just lackluster.I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai, and while it was okay, I expected way more from a place like Ginger. The flavors were just... there. Nothing stood out, and honestly, I've had better at less-hyped spots. As for the ambiance--if you're looking for a cozy, intimate date night setting, this is not it. Think of a sports bar vibe but without the TVs--just upscale furniture to make it look fancy. LOL. Not exactly the atmosphere I was expecting.Overall, it's a meh experience. Not the worst, but definitely not a must-return for me. (Being generous.)

We dined at Ginger for a relative's birthday dinner, and while the service and ambiance were amazing, the overall experience left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. We were seated in a more secluded section of the restaurant, which made for a lovely and intimate setting. However, the food didn't quite justify the steep prices, even considering the upscale MGM location. We went family-style and ordered an array of dishes: soft shell crab fried rice, lobster, duck, chow fun, lo mein, Singaporean noodles, and kung pao chicken. The food was good but not particularly memorable. At $20 for a cup of wonton soup, the pricing felt excessive, even by casino standards. While we understood we were paying for the convenience and setting, it felt like the quality should have been higher for what we spent. Our original plans at Grace's Mandarin fell through due to holiday traffic at the Wharf, so we ended up here last minute. If you're in a pinch or celebrating a big win at the casino, Ginger might be worth a visit. Otherwise, there are better options nearby that offer similar dishes for less. Overall, a decent experience, but not one we'd rush back for.

Monday brunch date at Ginger at the MGM. We were in search of Pho and we were not disappointed. Arrived around 1p.m. and were immediately greeted and seated. The place was not very crowded and the overall ambiance was fantastic. Our order came out quickly and was well presented. I had the Beef Pho, while my wife had her Pho changed to chicken. The restaurant featured traditional and signature drinks.Overall great outing.

Delicious! I had a nice family lunch with a cousin and my two elderly aunts before heading to the casino floor. It was a bit pricey but worth it. I haven't had Chinese food this good in a very long time. I loved everything we ordered, including the combination fried rice. I will definitely return.

Ginger is a really nice Asian restaurant in the MGM National Harbor. The wait staff do try their best to be professional and hospitable because the crowd they have to work with on the daily are just so different from the standard in the industry - Gamblers. Do you realize how poorly some of the people get treated by self entitled Gamblers that have thrown away fortunes, family and their very lives away? The prices of the food on the menu are over inflated because they have to account for the insane amount of Casino Comps that are issued to each check every shift.I can't find the scallops, Pad Thai, Lamb Lollipops etc we had in my camera roll but I'll be sure to update the review when I find them, but the quality is there. The location is in front of the main entrance of MGM nearby the Valet Parking, Theatre, and VIP Casino Entrance. Again, while dining here keep in mind that the folks here most likely don't receive the best of tips because of the average guest that comes through there. Also, if you're looking on Yelp to see/read this review your pockets probably aren't full enough to tip them super crazy - food is supposed to be overpriced and you just have to deal with it. I've seen so many people lose a fortune at the Casino and then go to their Host and get a $300-$1000 food comp to Ginger and take it ALL Togo. Ain't no way their depressed broke ass tipped Anyways, if you've gotten this far in the review I hope you'll have an awesome day and an even better tomorrow!!! Good luck!

I'm surprised that this place has low rating. I personally enjoyed immensely with all vegetarian options. Servers were really nice and quickly providing food. Me and all of my friends actually enjoyed a lot.

We were a party of four and we were going to a show as a casino so went to Ginger for dinner first. The staff was attentive and the decor is . Once we ordered our food, it came out in about 7 minutes! I couldn't believe it. I was told that was normal. The sweet-and-sour chicken was a little too sour. The lamb pops were phenomenal and so were the chicken dumplings. At the end of the meal they give you a warm, moist towel. Such a nice touch.

"Beautiful decor, location is prime especially if headed to a show. Wait staff unattentive and rude. Food was 2 thumbs down! $30 a plate for subpar food. Thai, chinese, Vietnamese dishes. Even the drinks were disgusting. We had the old fashioned, lychee something. For food we had sticky glaze wings (no taste and no sticky), Vietnamese street noodle, drunken noodles and spring rolls. The spring rolls were the best part of the meal (but not enough sauce was provided). We would have asked our server for more but she was MIA. Majority of the food and all the drinks were poorly executed. First and last time visitor."

The food is very tasty! The general tso chicken is a 5/5 for me but the pad Thai is more like a 3/5. Service is decent and the ambiance is cool considering you're right outside the casino. I would only come back if I was at the MGM but no special trips just for this place.
