Food was very good! Oxtail roti OMG, the oxtail was seasoned extremely well and falling off the bone, beef pattie and coco bread, beef patties was standard and coco break was soft, fluffy and sweet, definitely fresh.The ladies were nice, I was greeted when I walked in, given a moment to figure out my order, placed it and waiting not too long but it wasn't quick either. As for the taste and quilt of the food it was worth the wait. The vibe definitely gave Jamaica , from the vibrant colors to the music playing and the photos on the wall.It is pricey with everything g I bought I paid over $60 bucks two dinner meals with 2 beef Patties w/ coco bread no drinks.I will be back for sure the taste is the best and close I've had to authenticity in a long time !

I luv the location that has ample parking!! Stepped into the location to Carribean vibes and greeted by the cashier. I purchased the Brown Stew Chicken with rice and peas. I also got jerk chicken sandwich and pineapple soda. The food was great! The rice and peas were okay but the chicken was delicious. I enjoyed the outside dinning and conversations with customers

Excellent food here. Quick and good sized portions. Have had the jerk chicken often and it's always great.

I took a chance, despite my last selection & I was horrified by the skin left on rubbery oxtails, which was doused in vinegar and sauce to mask the unfavorable.. Not only that the cabbage was served raw, (it shouldn't be, it should be sautéed and was also vinegar laden, like it was being Brined, & put it on the plate raw... it was not edible, despite the frozen veggies sprinkle on top of the heavy ladened rice and congealed peas.) I couldn't eat any of it... and I'm so disgusted and disappointed, turn off is not even the word... I don't think I can revisit. This is unfortunate as I had been once before and I liked the curry chicken; be that as it may, they got this wrong... I'm feeling so disgusted and grossed out; $40+ dollars later ...My mistake... I took the Loss and am so turned off that I probably will hold off eating out for a while now; when you know better do better. When I tell you trust me, I mean it. Don't.

On Juneteenth I thought I would give this restaurant a shot. I ordered the oxtails dinner and shrimp roti. The food was good (shrimp was large/xtra large and portions plentiful) considering the reviews. Yeah the plantains were questionable but not a show stopper. My second review will have pictures. I would give them another chance definitely.Ambience was nice.

I wanted to try this restaurant because I'm always in the mood for some West Indian food. The food wasn't amazing but edible. The portions for the oxtail dinner was small to me and the the cost of the food is high. The oxtail was spicy but flavorful, the fried plantain was tough/rubbery as if it was microwaved, and the rice and peas was the best part of that meal. The curry chicken roti was more like soup and the roti was thick and tasted like a fried bakes.

ILike they were made to order on my Rasta pasta they told me it would be 20/25 mins after waiting 1:30mins for just a order of Rasta pasta and unorganized on orders the pasta was mid if you order just make sure you place order way before your hungry and have ALOT OF PATIENCE they didn't even Acknowledge that fact we waited as long as we did. No sorry for the wait or anything

Definitely my go to in Bowie MD for Jamaican food. Their food is always consistently good. Chicken Roti is so die for.
