This is my go to liquor store! They have a great selection, they're willing to take suggestions if they don't have what you're looking for, and the employees are friendly and helpful!

Great bourbon selection and great staff with reasonable prices on some high-end bottles. New favorite DC liquor store.

Best spirits store in the area. Staff is very knowledgeable about any type of drink. Love how this store is really clean. Drinks are easy to find and they also feature a label that suggests best cocktails. Stopped by to grab a bottle of whiskey ended up leaving with some new vodka named Etion that just launched. Went home made some cocktails and really enjoyed the beverage. Customer service here is key. I think every customer stayed for 5 mins talking to the staff about mixes and best flavor combinations

THE BEST. If you're looking for a liquor store in DC (or to drive in), look no further. Really. Rarely do I have an experience where I review, tweet, and post on social media about how outstanding it is.I was looking for a bottle of bourbon and wanted to try something different. I perused the shelves for a bit until the owner asked if I needed help. I explained my brand of choice and others I like and asked if there was anything similar he would recommend. He asked I wanted to taste one and told me a little about the distillery. It's actually a local one that I had heard of and he told me about his interaction with them. It was good, love supporting local #madeindc and supporting women-owned and operated businesses, decided to buy a bottle.Other customers came and went with him offering recommendations to them while I finished my "taste (more like a pour). We talked about other spirits and alcoholic beverages I like and he took note of ones I mentioned that he didn't carry to ask his distributors.Another bottle caught my eye and he offered me a taste. I don't know if it was the bourbon hitting but this tasted like the smoothest rum I've ever had. I asked the price of the bottle and he said he needed to order more but to take the tasting bottle as a gift. What?!?! For free.I left after thanking him a few times and before he could change his mind. The shop isn't huge but has a broad selection and I really believe if there is something you are looking for, he will look at how to procure it. They carry all spirits, cold alcoholic seltzers, cold beer and champagne, and wines. Also make sure to have a good variety of local spirits. And they carry organic wines and can easily point you to them.I'm only angry at myself for not coming here sooner. Thank you Gallagher & Graham and Surender for a great first experience!

They do wine tasting every three days here! Starting in March. They came by the Shay building. A lot of the residents came out for the event of wine tasting and had four different wines and sorts. My favorite wine by far here has to be "LaGrande Côte" Paso Robles. Second favorite is the Cava "Casteller" a bubbling wine close to a champagne taste. I'm ready for the different fine spirits tasting they have.

Incredible selection of affordable libations (I've rarely paid more than $20 a bottle!) and one of the best selections / nicest staff in the District.

Terrific selection of hard to find bourbons (Blanton's, Eagle Rare) and botanicals/ liqueurs plus excellent wine selections. Very reasonable prices and super nice staff. We will be regulars!

If you are looking for a FINE spirit this is the place. I was helped by the nephew of the owner and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They had Blanton's and Buffalo Trace at good prices. I will be back for sure!
