What a hidden gem! Gagawa is the perfect place for an unforgettable meal. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm hospitality, and the food? Simply phenomenal!I have to say, the fries were a revelation--crispy, golden, and just melt-in-your-mouth perfection! Pair that with their incredibly well-marinated, juicy chicken, and you have a winning combination.A special thanks to Ekrem Bey for making this place such a fantastic dining experience. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere! Can't wait to return!

Delicious, fresh, tasty, healthy(ish), and yummy. My original review follows. I liked this place so much that I brought my wife here a few days later. Unfortunately, this time, the experience wasn't as good. The service was lackadaisical (I always liked that word). We were left standing at the mall entrance for several minutes before someone offered us a table. It took a long time to get menus, then longer for our drinks, and then about 15 minutes before anyone came over to take our order. This was all while the gentleman, who I would guess was the manager, stood by and watched. There's a problem with their soda machine. The Coke tasted bad. That happened last time, too, and I had thought it was just a fluke.I also noticed something that I would call inappropriate for this type of restaurant. They charge $3 for water. Where do they think they are, the Inn at Little Washington? Wait, even at their level, they don't charge for water. That said, let's get back to my original review, already in progress...I had never heard of Gagawa before. A friend suggested we grab lunch here before our movie. Now I can't wait to go back.I have only two "complaints." The first is that the portion sizes are MUCH larger than some pictures imply. Going in, I was expecting to pay main course prices for small plate quantities. Nothing could be further from the truth. That brings me to my second complaint. Gagawa put me in the uncomfortable position of having to leave food that I really wanted to eat. There was just too much to finish and I couldn't take the leftovers into the movie. I suggest that you consider one entree, perhaps with an appetizer, to share between two people. The service was great! Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. The food was served quickly and was still hot when it got to our table. These first-world problems aside, I can't wait to go back. Though next time it will probably be after the movie.

Very unique style of having 3 whole sides. The chicken was very soft, the pesto pasta was good, and the broccoli thing was like coleslaw. It was very filling. Would definitely come back. There was not that many people but that doesn't matter bc the food was goodWould rather prefer it to be a self serve bc the place is so open, it's a little weird being a waiter serving place

Decided to try this relatively new spot in the Mall after hearing some good things about the food. I was surprised to hear this was the first location in the United States, as they're originally from Europe! The concept is interesting, you are able to build your platter by selecting a type of chicken/protein, pasta, and salad. I got the following: Creamy Mushroom Chicken, Tomato Sauce Pasta, Mediterranean Salad. Food was tasty! The chickens all have a unique marinade, and they're really flavorful & tender. Pasta is alright, tasty enough, nice filler carb side. Decent portion size for the price, and nice unique presentation style. My main issue was the service. There is the ability to order via QR code on the table, but trying to get ahold of anyone when there was a problem, was quite difficult. Also one member of our party had the wrong order sent to them twice unfortunately. By the time the order came back and it was wrong the second time, they decided to just keep it and eat it as is. If the service improves, this definitely would be a great place to return to in Tysons Corner!

new restaurant in tysons! to be honest i was a bit hesitatnt to try it since there were some customers but not many inside. Also the pictures of the food, honestly don't look that great. But, with promise of flavorful chicken and for the sake of trying something new out with some friends, i'm happy we gave it a shot! I like that we can scan the menu to order and even pay at the table itself. We all got the sets with pasta and salad and actually the portion is really big! i think you could share with two people if you wanted or just enjoy a big meal to yourself. Sriracha - actually has a spicy kick and taste like a fresh, spicy sriracha! very moist and juicy chicken, cooked pretty perfectly. 3.25/5 Chef pan - it promised on the menu that with its blend it should be reminiscent of red meat which sounded fake but actually delivered! also moist but texture was closer to a steak than the bouncy chicken in the sriracha flavor. 3.5/5Original - if you dont really want seasoning and need something safe? was not my order but even this was made pretty well. 2.75/5 Tomato pasta - boring but not bad. nothing special. 2/5 Mediterranean salad - nice sour and sweet vinegarette and i liked the cranberrries? raisins? whatever fruit they had on it was a nice touch. not a salad person but this is pretty decent. 2.5/5Hummus - nutty and yummy. Not that special. Way too little bread to hummus ratio. 2.5/5

Chicken Master Gagawa is new at the mall, we've been waiting to try it and my wife and I decided tonight was the night.First off, the photos in the menu don't look appetizing, but the pictures are very misleading, the food was really good!We ordered the grilled halloumi cheese appetizer, which came with a really good smokey jam to dip it in. To be honest, I prefer pan searing the cheese rather than the grill, but the taste of the jam more than made up for the fact it is not pan seared. We were not overly hungry so we decided to share a meal. Fortunately, the meals are very generously portioned! One meal was more than enough to share with 2 people. We did ask for extra plates and ate from the dinner plate family style. We ordered the cheesy rosemary chicken, which was definitely the right choice. Amazing!! My wife said it was probably the best chicken she has ever eaten. The chicken was very moist, and flavorful! The chicken looks like it was wok seared, so it had a char-crisp on the outside. Again, it was amazing. For the side we had the pesto noodles, which I typically am not a fan of, but I loved it!Don't be offset by the photos in the menu, the food is much, much better than the pictures.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gagawa in Tyson's Corner, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience! Owned by a Turkish owner, the establishment radiates warmth and hospitality from the moment you walk in. The menu boasts an array of fantastic options, and the customer service is top-notch--swift and courteous! I visited with my family, and we all left feeling satisfied and happy. Having tried Tavuk Dünyası during my travels in Turkey, I was pleasantly surprised by Gagawa's offerings. The quality and flavors were spot on, and I'd say even better than what I had abroad! I can't wait to return, especially knowing it's just a short drive from my home. Gagawa is a delightful addition to the local dining scene, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of Turkey!

You need to stop! It's only been open for two weeks in Tysons mall and I hope it's here to stay. It's a twist on Turkish food but also has a lot of staples like lentil soup. Everything was so delicious.. we tried the cheese chicken (omg so good) service was fast too! It's as fast as ordering at McDonalds but the quality far surpasses. The wait staff was all very kind. Clean and comfortable seating. I wish they'd open one in Pittsburgh!

I really can't get enough of this place! For those new to it, they serve chicken with a variety of marinades based on cuisine from around the world. The variety is what keeps me coming back; I keep trying new dishes and being impressed with not only the flavor but also how different each one is from the last! The decision to separate the dish components (chicken, salad, and starch) is very appealing too, since it allows you to eat as you like.Strong recommendation from me. One of the first places in a while where I have regularly cleaned my plate. I hope Gagawa spreads to other places in the US so friends and family can try it! Also, shout out to the manager in the mall; not only has he recognized me each time I came back, he explained a lot about the restaurant when I first arrived.
