Fountain Grill

Updating my review: it's been a year since we discovered this delicious dining venue. Kudos to others who have come and reviewed with 4-5 stars. This is truly an establishment that loves their customers and takes pride in the food quality. First off, we come for their delicious Truffle fries. What is the secret to their fries? It's the prominent taste of the truffle oil. No other place, IMHO, has gotten this close. Their happy hours are a hidden secret! The gigantic $6.99 margaritas will keep you feeling "happy". I can usually get away with 2 of them(because I have a designated driver).More important are the owners, they welcome and serve you as if you are family. Their contribution to the community is outstanding. It's a place where everyone knows your name. Why not come and check it out. They are located down the street from Chick Fil A and Taco Bell. There's plenty of parking.

Having had this on the list for a while, we figured it was time to try it. My fiancée really wanted the chicken egg rolls to start. They were pretty good. The sauce they were served with complimented them really well. The fried mozzarella was also a really good starter. I ordered the Baja burger as my entree and I liked the spiciness of the jalapeño and chorizo on the burger. It definitely wasn't spicy enough for my taste though so if you're not a huge fan of slice, you'll be okay. The fries were very good. Nice and crispy. My fiancée ordered the crab cake entree and it was good, but not the greatest crab cake in the area. Food overall was good but left a little to be desired. The service was great. The staff were all helpful and kind. They were quick and checked in many times. I believe the manger/owner also stopped by to see how it was going. The ambiance is that of a local smaller pub. They have some bar top seating as well as booths and a few high tops. I could definitely see it getting busy on a weekend night and there not being enough seating.

Ambiance: We got the food to go. Dint get to experience the serviceFood: we got mozzarella sticks and chicken egg rolls for appetizers, despite the Togo order, mozzarella sticks were still crispy, fresh and ofcourse delicious. Chicken and egg rolls were also crispy and the sauce was yummy. For main course we ordered chicken and parm sandwich with truffle fries and blackened chicken Alfredo pasta. The Alfredo pasta was delicious and I'm sure this will be a repeat order for me going forward. Chicken parm sandwich was good too! Truffle fries got a little soggy as it was a Togo order. Looking forward to having a dining experience soon.

Tiny space, mediocre bar food. Service was okay, but with all the great restaurants around it's a struggle to figure out why you'd pick this one.

Great service and good bar ambience. Food was good too and the manager, our waiter and even kitchen staff checked on us multiple times to ensure we were happy with our meals. We will definitely be back!

Hungry as heck when we landed and went straight here. Dog friendly patio... actually VERY dog friendly since the owner brought our dog some fresh cooked bacon!!! Started with truffle fries... golden, crispy, delicious. I ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich and a side salad. I would rate it a 9/10 only because it was on a hamburger bun opposed to a sub bun. Husband got a bacon cheeseburger and requested medium rare... cooked to perfection! He loved it! Bread was fresh and his sautéed green beans were excellent-- he ate all of them before even biting into his hamburger! Our water cups were never empty and the beer was ice cold!Really great spot with superb service.

After a long day of traveling our last meal was at 10:30 in the morning and a snack on the plane. After arriving in VA and finally getting situated, we wanted some FOOD. My hubby found this place from the many good ratings on Yelp. We wanted to try it for ourselves. The weather was pleasant and they have a nice fountain outside as the name suggests. You can be seated outside which I saw a dog so pet friendly. The service was excellent. Although the food took awhile to come probably 20-30 minutes, i didn't mind that it came pretty much all at once. Because I was going to eat everything. By this time it was 7:21pm. We liked everything we got: the fried shrimp, truffle fries with ranch, soup of the day (chicken gumbo soup), bone in chicken wings X 6 (hot), fountain burger medium with mashed potatoes, and a banana cake. Again service was great. We packed some to go as well and they were thoughtful to offer a ranch to go and some utensils as we were from out of town. Great place, food, and service.

First time coming here and the service was great! We sat outside on the patio because they are dog friendly and they brought out bacon pieces for our dog which he loved! The servers were very fast with coming to take our order and also setting up the heaters outside. I got the popcorn shrimp, chicken gumbo soup, and pork with apple butter which were great! Nothing mind blowing but everything was pretty good. I would like to come back and try the desserts next time and other entrees. I think my favorite part about our dining experience was definitely the amazing service!

Well will start by saying I came here only because I found it on Yelp. And was super intrigued by the ratings and number of reviews. I know why! The service, selection and food is what you cone to a local place for. No one is perfect but this place is as good as it gets. I met 2 of the 3 owners and their personal service is why I'd come back and recommend all my local friends to come here. The short rib grilled cheese is amazing. Sweet potato fries are perfect with a side of Cajun ranch. The waiter which o later found was one of the owners talked me into dessert "pumpkin pie cheesecake" then later said it was on the house. It was like homemade pumpkin pie fresh from the oven. Great place, great owners that care enough about thirds to be working at every job. They have a wall dedicated to our service men and women. Come support these guys and you will not be disappointed

Amazing service, good quality food, and excellent drinks. Above all, the service is what sets this place apart. Highly recommend!
