Founding Farmers Reston Station

The restaurant's customer service rep reached out to me, apologized and invited us back for a complimentary meal. Last Friday at 7pm, we returned and both the service and the food were outstanding. I had the salmon and my partner had the scallops. Both of us truly enjoyed every bite. Several servers visited us to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. (The restaurant did not know we had had a prior bad experience.)I appreciate Founding Farmer's concern and the action they took to make things right.

Wow the biscuits were good - I wanted to slow time as I took the first bite Chicken super tasty Really delightful assortment of drinks and sodas - wow the sodas are cool Susan our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable. My only gripe is I wish I could try their breakfast too, but I can never make it in the morning. Imagine those biscuits with eggs & cheese - oh my goodness! I am really surprised it doesn't have better reviews - it seems like the locals don't know how good they have it. I wonder what I am missing.

A vegetarian's take on this bougie place we went to for my daughter's birthday. The decor is always the first thing that decides where I choose to dine! So without a doubt, their interior design is top notch. I didn't understand the thematics of it, nonetheless, this space is done well. The booth we were assigned was especially cozy, we had requested a good seating since it was daughter's birthday. I absolutely appreciated the booth they assigned. It was a semi-circle seating with a fancy chandelier. Ask for this if you are party of 4! The food we ordered:The avocado toast 5/5 - can't go wrong! The chips with spinach and artichoke dip - 5/5 The cauliflower hummus - wouldn't order that again. Strongly recommend you don't order that. The entree was a red sauce pasta that had a good garlic flavor and I enjoyed every bite.The veggie cheeseburger, a black bean one was delish - I would however say order more vegetarian pasta over this one. We ordered a banana spilt sundae which they brought out with a candle. And that decadent bowl of dessert absolutely divine. I believe they make their own ice cream. I am not sure though. Service was good, some good recommendations were made. I just wish they had a little more fanfare for someone celebrating their birthday. But it's not a deal breaker that they don't. Oh yes, they did offer a doughnut for the birthday girl (the candle was suppose to come in that but we changed it to being set on the banana spilt instead. Definitely a good place for a celebration! My daughter is just 7 and her bougie self approved!

I took My Mama to Lunch here 3-4-25 because she Loves the BRAND and this is the Only Founding Farmers of the franchise that I haven't crossed off my list!(First Visit). They Validate up to 2 Hrs for you in the garage. Every location is different in every way!, this one you can get lost if you don't know the area but it's sooo beautifully done inside this one!!! every corner is so pretty and lit up!!...We sat in a really nice booth that could fit 2-4 ppl given the leg space!. Our Waiter was Javier (Havier-pronounced as) so polite we got water but after I learned their lemonade was fresh squeezed hold the pulp! I got one!...Mama ordered the chicken fried steak (very seasoned!! )with a bomb in house made REAL waffle it was melt in your mouth soft, buttery but held the Syrup up VERY well!! never had one like it!!... YET you get Two sides (unbeknownst to us) don't know if you can choose or not but that was something different!!... I got the meatloaf , mashed potatoes and green beans ! the meatloaf was like a huge thick!! piece with possible sausage gravy but brown gravy or juice drippings underneath idk but with those Perfect!! Buttermilk delicious mashed potatoes I wish I had a Spoon!! Complemented the meatloaf Very Well !! and I'm big on pairings esp a gravy/sauce if it's not right I will say so!! . So please don't change ANYTHING with that meatloaf dish!! the green beans needed a little more sprinkle of salt, pepper, lawrys but that's it!! The perfect balance of cooked well and a little crisp!. I would get either dish again!! Minus the pasta that came with the chicken fried steak it was a bit too chewy! ... I absolutely LOVED this location so much that I'm returning when I come back from my Trip! The Decor is different but cool it has things hanging and a big wolf sitting at the bar having a drink lmaoo and then on the steps where you think the restroom is but it's more seating is a Big green Rooster or Hen idk but these things can't be found nowhere but here!! and looking near the door it's fish going by in the water on a screen I thought it was inside the restaurant but it's on the outside so cool to look at!

We have been to this location a couple of times and food is always decent. Most recently we went for Christmas. We had the dinner buffet and overall it is good. I am not generally a big fan of a buffet but there are so many options and all are super good choices. We have been here before and have ordered off a regular menu as well as a prix fix menu for a holiday. Some of their recipes are top notch. They do sell a cookbook. Their Mac and cheese that my daughter loves is in the cookbook and she loves when we make it at home. I personally love their mashed potatoes and wish their recipie was included in the cookbook. Service is okay this past time but nothing spectacular as it was a buffet. Cappuccino is top notch at the end of the meal. Make sure you order one!

The food here was great. I recommend the cauliflower tart as a side, as someone who isn't fond of cauliflower I enjoyed this. The restaurant has a nice vibe to it somewhere between upscale and casual. My waiter's name was John H he gave me excellent service while I was there.

It was a pleasant morning, so we snagged a seat outside, perfect for a bit of people-watching while enjoying the meal.The menu boasted an impressive array of coffee variations that made my caffeine-loving heart skip a beat. After some deliberation, I ordered eggs with chicken sausage, fresh-baked bread, and the intriguingly named grapefruit brûlée.Now, let's talk about that hot sauce--if you're a fan of heat, definitely ask for the one that comes with the breakfast tacos. It blew the standard Tabasco out of the water and added a fiery kick to the eggs.As for the grapefruit brûlée, it was a sweet twist on the classic. While it was tasty, I still lean towards enjoying my grapefruit the healthy, unadorned way. Overall, the breakfast was delightful, but I did feel the pinch in my wallet. This isn't the place for a budget-friendly meal, but it's a treat if you're in the mood to splurge a little on breakfast. Would I return? Probably

I took my wife and daughter here for Valentine's Day 2025 on the advice of our neighbors and the food did not disappoint. Susan was wonderful and her service and food/drink recommendations were spot on...it was like she had known us for years. Founding Farmers was a great find. I need to go unbutton my pants and take a nap!

Shaina and Celina were amazing! They were very patient and catering. I'd recommend anyone coming here and getting phenomenal service with them.

The food was fantastic and our waitress, Vinnie, was wonderful. She helped navigate the gluten free options for my husband. She was helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations!
