We got takeout. The food is delicious and well-seasoned and the portions are generous. We got chicken dinners packed to go. They provided sturdy cutlery and a generous amount of napkins. Dinner was so good!

Delicious food, enthusiastic and friendly staff. The newly renovated restaurant is very nice. The view of the train tracks and station platforms is very beautiful. I will introduce friends and relatives to enjoy the food and space of the restaurant.

Very solid meal for when I can't make it out to the suburbs - chickpeas rice and spinach were all great, fries have potential (not great for takeout though), sauce is pretty good, and kabobs are delicious - chicken and lamb are best, followed by beef and kofta. Samosa was also delicious I think online ordering has higher prices, so call in your order or just walk in.

We went there because we love to support our local halal restaurants. It was 23 for a plate of food and a soda. We got the lamb & chicken combo (rice, chickpeas, and cabbage). The meat was good, everything else seemed to be an afterthought. The bathrooms are male/female and there was urine all over the seat - gross.

So glad to know this place is still operating during the pandemic. Orderd the seekh kabob to have for "iftar," the fast-breaking at sundown for Ramadan. When you have a good appetite you want to use that appetite for something good. The food here is something great.

Ordered our meal to go. Pretty pleased with this experience. I ordered the sheesh and lamb combo meal. Not going to lie, did not know what the "sheesh" meat is but I think it ended up being chicken. Came with 3 sides and I chose rice (meh), veggies (probs not again: spinach and chickpeas), and a veggie samosa (BEST THING ABOUT THE MEAL. SO GOOD!). I also got naan. The confusing thing is that it's actually 4 sides but I only asked for 3. Oh well. The naan was huge! The whole meal was huge! I'm a binger and I couldn't finish it all. Overall pretty good food. I'll order again!

Definitely a college friendly place, full meal for about $6. They do not skimp on the food, I believe the meat is halal (kosher) as well. The chickpeas, spinach and chicken are my favorite. The chicken is always moist and the chickpeas pack a ton of flavor. Definitely recommend is your looking for a fast good food in a casual spot. If you are not on a budget go for the lamb! It is amazing!

I'm giving one star for customer service. I've eaten here since I was in undergrad....starting in 2011. I've always done dine in since I lived literally across the street. Last year around November, I ordered food on Grubhub for pickup and when I got there, they said they don't use that service and the order never went through and they don't even have a tablet. Last night, I looked them up again, hoping they upgraded their ordering/delivery systems. Their own website has an icon to place orders through BiteCart.com. After I ordered, I called to confirm that they got it and they said they don't use BiteCart only Grubhub . They were very rude about it and told me to call BiteCart and come get my food. I told them not to worry I won't support their business anymore and I'll just dispute the charge. The food is not worth the headache, smh.

My favorite restaurant IN THE WORLD!The half chicken (comes with three cups of rice and two sides) is an incredible deal at $11. The chicken is moist, crispy, and spicy--delectable! The chickpeas, spinach, okra, and lentils are all much better than your average Indian restaurant! My guilty pleasure is the lamb chops, which is a delicious feast for around $15! I also LOVE the chapli kabob--a spicy ground chicken patty covered in roasted tomatoes and onions! Seekh kabob is similar to the chapli kabob in flavor--savory and moist--but no roasted veggies. The burgers and wings are solid. Fries are crispy and bountiful. You can get a huge variety of drinks for a fair price from the fridge! Cheesecake and chocolate cake are a steal at about $2.50 a piece!Dollar for dollar, this is the best Indo-Pakistani/Afghan restaurant in DC by far! You may end up eating here several times a week!
