Great lamb sliders, cornbeef and cabbage too! Love the friendly neighborhood ambiance that the staff create. Love a good cider or guiness while catching a game on TV. Thanks for good vibes

A great pub with good energy. Nice menu. The blue cheese sliders are the bomb. Hugh onion rings. Reasonable prices. It was a good choice to relax and watch some Monday Night Football, especially when the big screen comes down on the back wall. They do have an outdoors seating area if you are so inclined, however it is self-serve. A very diverse crowd that enjoys a friendly atmosphere. Noise level is what you would expect, but overall everyone is having a good time. The two women behind the bar are going full speed ahead to keep up with the customers orders. Bridget was awesome and attentive. The Guinness was on point. I will make this a regular stop when visiting family in Rockville. I think it would be James Joyce approved.

Nice, neighborhood place with a decent draft beer menu, bar and food. Usually pretty loud indoor seating; on a nice day/evening it can be more pleasant to sit outdoors. Staff are enthusiastic and friendly. The Staff usually are really busy so it can be a chore to get their attention. The other night, we ordered a dozen wings with old Bay seasoning (a special) and the 3 fish taco plate. Old Bay Wings (10 wings for $14) - the sauce is billed as being house-made, but it's essentially a Franks hot sauce (traditional Buffalo wing sauce), but there was barely a hint of Old Bay. That was disappointing. Also, the wings themselves were scrawny - tiny, with very little meat and pretty hard to chew. For $14, the wings should be a lot better. Fish tacos ($14) - delicious. The server said they were spicy and there was a Siracha-type sauce lightly applied that gave the dish a nice kick. The fish was lightly breaded and fried - a nice sized piece of fish in each of the three tacos. Doesn't come with a side, like fries. Very filling and tasty.I don't tell people how to run their businesses, but I do wonder if maybe they should have more than two people covering the busy bar and restaurant, including the outside seating. At least that's how it's been the several times I've been here. The Staff does their best.

The food here was great overall. I really liked the fish & chip and the Shepard pie. The stars really are the lamb sliders and fish tacos though. The tacos were crispy and spicy and the lamb sliders were very aromatic. The service was quick and the inside has a lax ambient. I would come back again.

Finnegan's has become our favorite bar in Montgomery County. This place has it all - great vibes, great service, great drinks, and great food. Open late with a menu that covers everything from burgers and wings to bangers and mash and even an English breakfast. You'll often find live music, and there's plenty of seating both inside and out on Rockville Town Square.

I like this place a lot. My goto bar in RTS. Wish my neighborhood shopping center had a bar like this. Susie is the bartender we see most and she is so friendly. The staff here makes this place a more welcoming feel. Nothing like kicking back with some Guinness on draft and watch some games on tv and being waited on by some real good people. We really like their wings here, poutine, and other appetizers as I normally come here after dinner. But I finally decided to eat more substantial meal and ate a Guinness beef stew. It was huge and tasty. Need to hit my peloton bike after that meal. Next time fish and chips and save room for desserts. Anyone know where I can get a good sticky toffee pudding? Man if they had that dessert here, be here every week!The have weekday happy hour and late night happy hour too. Wish they can update their FB page or their website though for live bands entertainment. That's one thing this RTS really needs. If you are in the mood for some Guinness on draft with some good food, this is the place to go in Rockville!

Other than the fact that too many folks smoke in the patio seating area (and not all the staff are willing to ask them to stop when other folks request) - this is a very nifty place. Prices range from good happy hour to a bit high. Food ranges from great (fish tacos, fries, many Irish options) to not so good (greasy onion-missing onion rings). But it is fun and festive and I do like most of the staff. So giving them back some stars :)

Met several friends for dinner. I had the meatloaf with a couple of pints of Guinness. Service was excellent and quick and the food was delicious. I plan on trying something else on the menu next time. Just wish it was warmer so I could sit outside. Oh well maybe next year.

Food is terrible, place is a not a fun vibe. My fish and chips were terrible one of the worst I've ever had..fish was very old and not fresh.

JEWISH PEOPLE !! STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.I was having a spirited conversation with someone at the bar, and his buddy, a regular there, come back from the bathroom and pushed a heavy wooden bar stool at me. Since I'm not a fan of that kind of thing I started yelling at him. Security dude and another guy (not sure who he was) came over..grabbed me like thugs, and told me to get out. At that time, one of the female bartenders named Bridgette, who I never spoke to about anything other than what I wanted to drink... started yelling at me...."GET OUT OF HERE YOU ZIONIST". She had so much anger and hate in her face. She should have just used the word JEW instead because that's what these people really mean.It's a shame because it's a great place, good drinks, food, vibe, etc. but NO CUSTOMER DESERVES THAT TREATMENT.DONT GO HERE IF YOU ARE PRO- ISRAEAL OR JEWISH.
