Reading the reviews, I clearly messed up by not getting the tacos. But what could I say? I had been displaced from LA for a month and I had some mad burrito cravings. I got a chicken burrito and although I didn't want beans, my option came pre-mixed with beans, corns, and salsa, so I had to get the whole package. It looked good enough...big and toasted on the grill. When I sat down to eat it, I noticed that there was a tiny piece of hair, less than an inch long, on the side of my burrito. I wasn't going to walk back and make a fuss, so I put that part aside. Still had my hopes up. After my first bite, I pretty much gave up on life. It was the worst burrito I've had. (How does one even mess up a burrito?) I barely ate half, and had to mix the rest (without the tortilla) into a salad later to at least give my salad some rice and corn. It most definitely is bang for the buck, but won't be back.

Yes, the taco binge continued!I've been spoiled by my visit to taco bamba so recently nearly 50% of everything I've eaten is in the form of a taco. This is the first from a food truck; pretty damn good for street food. It's Asian fusion (Korean & Japan BBQ) tacos (hence Far East, get it?) and it consists of picking your shell, protein, sauce, slaw, and finisher. I recommend their recommendations they list. Each one has a different protein and whatever combo of sauce/slaw/finisher best compliments it. The chicken and pork ones was my favorites.Love the flavors, price (3 tacos for $8), and efficiency. I await when they come back to the State Dept!

Came here on a whim a few days ago. It was after 2pm and normally food truck leave around that time but not only were they still parked, they had a line--go figure. The lady taking orders was friendly and very helpful. Since it was my first time ordering, I went with the recommended options (steak, chicken and pork) and I when I went to put sriracha, she offered me a mini cup to pour some in--doesn't sriracha make everything better?!Roses:The steak! The meat was tender and I liked the sauce. Yes, it was kinda on the sweet side but surprisingly, it work. Also, they give you two tortillas per taco, which you'll need because it gets kinda messy but as I always say, messy food is tasty food.Thorns:The chicken. I just didn't care for the sauce. I think it was the cheezy-Lime creama. It overpowered the flavor of everything else. Also, the pork--I wouldn't really call this a thorn but I think I got the wrong tortilla shell for this one. You can get flour or corn and when I asked which shell is best for the specific taco, the lady suggested corn for the pork. I probably should have gotten the flour. Other than that, it was good flavors. The service was on point--the lady made a point to show me the price that I was being charged. I enjoyed my food, I would visit this truck again. This specific truck didn't have the burrito bowls, hopefully the next time they are in my area, they'll have the bowls and I can give that a try.

I've been to this food truck twice this week. I've never visited the brick and mortars, though I'm excited to check them out.I love the Asian inspired, mix of veggies. There's something for everyone: chicken, spicy pork. tofu and steak. They even serve burrito bowls now with sesame rice. I'm usually a bit squeamish about meat on a food truck, but everything came together well. Spicy mayo, spicy pineapple and angry naraja are available sauces amongst others and I get them all.. what can I say? I'm a sauce person. Check them out if you're a Chipotle lover, but want a twist. WARNING: It's not Chipotle!Tips: Check foodtruckfiesta.com to see where they are. 3 tacos (corn meal or flour) are $8.90 (total plus tax) A burrito bowl is $9 (without tax)

This is one of my favorite taco food truck in DC even though it's a fusion of Asian and Mexican cuisine. The food is creative and delicious, and the menu is pretty straight forward on how you want your tacos made. I really enjoy how you can create it so that you can enjoy it, but they also have recommendations in case you're not sure what the best option would be. They have really good sauces as well, and they make the tacos pretty quickly. The chicken and pork is delicious, but I didn't enjoy the steak as much because it was a bit chewier than I'd prefer. The cost of 3 tacos is relatively cheap and worth the cost especially since that's about the average price of food trucks in the area. This place is definitely a great option for lunch when you want to check out the food trucks.

One word: DEELISH! I tried the tofu tacos; they were very flavorful and the tofu was even seasoned. They were loaded with veggies, this entire taco was made with vegan options. So if you like a little kick, this is your meal.

I freaking love myself some tacos, especially some Asian Fusion tacos. Talk about heaven. This place isn't the most amazing Mexican, but for the 8 dollar price for 3 tacos and personalize your own taco factor, this makes a great lunch spot! Also, just because you can combine almost everything together--that won't make a good taco! Trust your gut!! Personally loved the chicken and steak - cooked tenderly and compliments the other toppings they serve with nice savory spices on the meat. On the other hand, I tried doing the tofu, and it just didn't do it for me!! Sounds sexy when you put sexy right in front of the word tofu, but it didn't taste sexy or make me feel sexy, so I would not suggest this not sexy tofu (oops double negative). In terms of sauces, the spicy mayo and #15 are really great and the salsa Roja is not as spicy as I would have liked it to be, but still good. The sweet pineapple is a good concept but did not go well with my taco, think it will go better with steak than chicken! Also, I suggest mixing slaws together and especially getting corn with your taco. The cheesy lime crema is a hit or miss to be honest so I suggest getting this at your own risk! Overall, this truck is really fast and CLEAN!!! Glad they go to different areas in DC as well!!

Every day that this truck is outside my work is the best day of my life. I was nervous to jump on the food truck craze, and this happened to be the first one I tried after starting my new job. I fell in love. Best tacos I've ever had. Best food truck I've ever had. Some of the friendliest service I've ever had. My personal favorite combination is a flour tortilla with pork, either spicy mayo or salsa roja, and the banh mi topping. But one of the best things about the truck is you can mix and match every day and try out new amazing combos. I'm getting emotional just thinking about it. These tacos changed my life.

These are unequivocally the best tacos I have ever had, period. I cannot recommend this food truck enough! This truck mixes Asian flavors (and in particular, really awesome Korean and Vietnamese flavors) with perfectly-cooked meat in tacos. While you can order standard Mexican-style tacos here, you really shouldn't - the Kimchi-Lime, Far East, and Banh Mi tacos are out-of-this-world. For around ~$9 for three tacos that are easily better than anything you could get for twice that price in D.C., this place is really hard to beat!

Holy Fusion Batman! Ok this review has nothing to do with super heroes but it is about super tacos. This truly is fusion food. Tacos in sturdy flour tortillas (they have corn available as well) with tasty seasoned meat, just what you would expect from good Mexican food. But wait? Have some kimchee and lime on those tacos! Yes please! Three tacos for 8 bucks makes this a good deal for lunch and apparently you can mix and match them for different meats and flavors (I didn't this time but will next time). Definitely will hit this one up again. The lady who takes the orders is friendlier than a ray of sunshine and the food came out super fast.
