Really nice hookah spot with great music!! We didn't have food, so I can't speak to that.I came here on a Friday night with 4 others around 9PM! We came at the perfect time, didn't have to wait and got a good spot for all of us! I can definitely tell this place could get packed due to the size of the hookah spot, so I'd probably get there early if you're with a group! The location is a bit small, but I love that it's an intimate setting. The speakers are great, and we loved the DJ. He played a variety of music from hip hop to reggaeton! I loved that he played some throwbacks as well! Our bartender was super attentive. She made sure we always had drinks and our hookahs had fresh coals. I only took a star off because of bathrooms. There's only two bathrooms, one for women and one for men. I always had to wait to use the bathroom, and that's not fun when you've had a couple of drinks lolI'll definitely be back to try the food!

This spot was cute, small but the service was good. Some of the cons; not so great music (our friend literally stepped in as DJ.) Once the DJ arrived it was better. The drinks are a little on the pricier side - which is disheartening given that they're served in small plastic cups. The food was meh. The fries lacked salt and the wings were more breading than meat. Other than that the vibes were chill. To their defense we arrived pretty early evening and were out by 9-10. Can't speak for the vibes after those hours.

Not the greatest place to smoke hookah. The hookah had an odd taste to it than what I'm used to. The sound system wasn't The best and service was a little slow. Pricing is pretty standard but just to let you know they add a mandatory tip.

Chill spot to hang out and have great hookah and food. I went on a Thursday night and this place was perfect. I had the Tibbs with Injera and it was so good that we ordered another one. Hookah was on point just as the service and music selection. Enjoyed the fact that it wasn't crowded with usual hookah suspects ..will come back

What a night! Totally unexpected and VERY disappointed for my FIRST AND ABSOLUTE LAST visit! I found Fairouz Lounge when I was visiting a neighboring hookah supply store with a friend. From inside the hookah store, Fairouz Lounge seemed to have been the spot since the music they were playing made the walls of the hookah store rattle. When I left the hookah store, my friend and I spoke with the security guard standing outside of Fairouz to inquire. I will not lie, the placed gave off LIT vibes from the outside, and it was only going to be a matter of time before we retuned as customers. WE WERE SUPER EXCITED!On Nov 21, 2020, my two friends decided to treat me out to celebrate a milestone accomplishment. What better place to visit at than Fairouz Lounge since we already had a sneak peek! When we arrived, did ID checks, and walked in, there was no greeter. My friend got the attention of one of the servers and asked where could we sit. We were informed that we could sit anywhere so we decided to sit at the end section of the couch area nearest to the entrance to adhere to social distancing. We ordered shots, hookah, and things seemed to be getting off to a decent start. About 10-15 minutes into our visit, more customers entered the establishment and I became weary about Virginia's COVID restrictions which is currently set at 50% occupancy of the event space or 25 participants, whichever is less. About 5 minutes later, we were told that we had to move. When asked why, we were told that in order to remain where we were seated, it would be $1000 in bottle services (this is NOT a $1000 tab type of establishment at all!). At no point were we informed that our seating area would transform into a bottle service area. If we'd known this prior to sitting, we would have never remained at the lounge - the servers never mentioned this!We were then informed that we'd be moved to a standing table to share with 8 other individuals who were not wearing masks! At this point, more people were still pouring into the lounge clearly violating Virginia's occupancy restrictions. To make matters worse, now that it was about 9:30PM and Virginia's alcohol sales were to stop at 10PM, they seated another party of 4 where we just were and there was no way that they were going to be able to consume $1000 worth of alcohol in less than 30 minutes. I personally felt like we were moved in favor of catering to people who fit a certain type of image. This was totally disrespectful and showed that they had no care for decent customer service!Rather than fussing and going back and forth with the staff, we decided to close our tab, so the server took our hookah to the bar until we sorted things out. While waiting at the bar, we asked the server for some sort of compensation since we did not get to finish our hookah and was removed from our seating area due to them giving our seats to another party/trying to make a profit. The server said that there was nothing she could do so I asked to speak to the manager. While waiting on the manager, the bartender told us we had to move our hookah as if we placed it there and chose to be at the bar! Rude! I told him how we got moved to the bar and he said he'd speak to the manager as well (keep in mind we're just trying to settle the matter and depart). The manager NEVER came to us, but instead chose to speak to the bartender about the scenario. While looking at the bartender and manager speak, we could see that he (the manager Neb D. [@Nebfoto]) audibly said "Nah F**k Them" in regard to getting compensation for the time we wasted on visiting Fairouz and getting hookah. Really though... That is how you speak of your customers who only wanted to have a good time and spend money in your establishment?? I was really taken back at the level of unprofessionalism! One of the servers came back and offered to comp us "next time" but only wanted to talk to my other friend who fit more of the style that they were looking for. Again, this was straight disrespectful! She even asked for my friends' cell number and Instagram as if she couldn't have done that with me and my other friend as we were waiting on the manager. Long story short, we NEVER got compensated and spent less than an hour in Fairouz. The only comp that was offered was 3 free shots on the top of our bill which was ~$145 for nothing! The customer service is trash, they are NOT following Virginia's COVID restrictions, and the bathrooms had urine all over the place! I had really high hopes for Fairouz and was let down tremendously! I am easy to please and can literally have a good time anywhere that has good music, this place was clearly NOT IT!I will NEVER visit this place again and I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!!!!I am only giving 1 star because 0 stars is not an option! Save your time, money, and effort; Fairouz Lounge is NOT IT!

I came here with some friends to celebrate a promotion. When we walked in, we asked where we should sit. The bottle service told us we can sit anywhere so we sat at a table. They serviced us and we got a few shots and a hookah. 20 minutes in, we were asked to share with a standing table with 8 other people, in the middle of a PANDEMIC! Had we known that we were going to share a table with EIGHT individuals that we DID NOT know that were not wearing mask, we would have not patronize the establishment. The bottle service told us that if we wanted to stay at the table we were at, we had to spend over 1k in alcohol. It was literally less than an hour for us to drink alcohol. They made it seem like the people that wanted the table over us were spending over 1k in less than an hour. Honestly I've been on the DC scene for awhile and the group that they wanted to replace us with fit their "aesthetic". There is no way they were paying $1,000 in alcohol in less than an hour (there were only 4 people in the group). Annoyed that we were asked to leave where we were sitting because they wanted to replace us with the other group, we wanted to check out. I thought it was only fair that we were comped the hookah considering that we sat down for only 20 minutes. The bartender and bottle service said they would talk to the manager/owner. My friend was watching them talk about what transpired with us. The manager/owner said "Nah, F*&k em", meaning they were not going to comp anything for us. I was completely floored. I own my own business working in customer service and I would NEVER speak about customers that had a bad experience at my business in that way. If it was an error on MY end, free service would have been rendered. They came back and tried to give us shots on the house but the damage was already done. We got played. We would not have sat down had we known it was going to go down like that. Not only that, the bottle service asked for my name and number for what I assume she was trying to smooth things over. She claimed that we were going to be taken care of next time. The thing that bothered me about that is the fact that she only asked me and not my friends. Like I was the spokesperson. My friends were the ones dealing/interacting with them, not me. I'm assuming because I was the one that fit their "aesthetic" which is discriminatory. Like I previously stated, I've been in the DMV scene for a long time so I know how a lot of these establishments work. If you don't fit their aesthetic, you get treated differently. It's sad but it's the harsh reality of DC/DMV nightlife. Overall, I'm very disappointed with my experience there. It was my first time there and my friends and I were excited to be there because of the celebration of my friend's promotion. We were just happy to be out with good vibes and it was ruined by how badly we were treated which is totally unacceptable.

Love!!! All I can say is I love this place! The hookah is incredible, the vibe is chill, and the food really does just take it to the next level. Me and my boyfriend were in search of a hookah spot to just chill and maybe have a bite, and the 5 stars attracted us to Fairouz. Once we were there I understood why. We walked in and had our choice of ample seating, also very comfortable seating. The waitress walked up quickly and gave us a menu and took our drink orders right away (they have a full bar). Once she returned we ordered our food and our hookah (of which they have various options). The hookah came out first and it hit the spot. The hookah was smooth and had a great flavor. The highlight is that they are using brand new tubing for every hookah ordered. And once the food came out we knew we were in the right spot. My boyfriend had the veggie panini for which they are famous for, and he enjoyed every bite. My chicken tenders were exactly what I asked for, not to mention the food was fresh and hot out of the oven upon arrival. The owner also introduced himself not long after our food to see how we were doing. He was so pleasant and we will definitely be back! Trust me this is the spot!
