Fairlington Pizza Shop

Their Pizza is decent however you cannot trust their online menu prices or even the prices posted on a poster at their entrance way at the shop. Online it said Sunday Pizza was $15.99. The poster at the entrance to the shop said $16. 49. Okay we get to our Sunday night special one topping pizza at the counter to pay and now it's $ 17.45 before tax! When we pointed out to the manager that their price online and the price at the door are less his response was" well we have a lot of things to catch up on. " so I asked are you saying you're not going to honor the price on your website let alone the price at the doorway entrance? And he said no I'm not going to honor it. My husband wanted to tell them to go shove the pizza up their ass and leave but I was hungry so I said you're risking a bad review on Yelp and he just Shrugged. All I'm saying is don't trust their online prices on their website! And frankly they're not getting my business again. Ergo *no* stars on the manager. Ps. We gave 2 stars because the pizza had plenty of cheese which was good, but not enough pepperoni. In addition we did ask for "lightly baked". But what we got was almost Raw on parts of the crust in center. When you ask for lightly baked, every New Yorker knows that means it still has to be *baked*. Oh well. Disappointed because I think their food could be good. I expect an apology and for $2.50, they should have given us the advertised price.

Good food! Great staff. They couldn't have been more friendly. It's one of those small neighborhood places where the kids can ride their bikes, have lunch, dodge all the crazy drivers and be back home before you realize they took your credit card and are treating all their friends to pizza! Yippee!

Farlington Pizza Shop is a fixture in our area for a reason (okay, several reasons). GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PEOPLE RUNNING THE PLACE!I had another occasion to enjoy a meal at this super comfortable place to have marvelous Italian food.The pizza is the star and whenever I'm looking for the kind of pizza I had back in the 70's Fairlington is where I go. You know the type I'm talking about, plenty of oil (grease) from the cheese and the pepperoni. The type that takes several napkins to catch the corners of your mouth. This time, I tried the meatball sub. A perfectly toasted sub roll holding lots of cheese and big savory real meat meatballs, and the tomato sauce that beautifully pulls the whole taste together. Will be a tough choice next time: Pizza or Meatball sub? Or maybe try something else on the extensive menu? I'll let you know.

I was getting my car serviced nearby and happened upon this spot. I remember seeing "NY Style Pizza" somewhere in the signage, so I had to investigate lolI was met with a huge smile from Nick as I looked up at be menu. After about 10 seconds, I blurred out, "'May I order a small pizza with pepperoni and half sausage?" I then saw the size was 10" and then asked to change it to a medium because I wanted to share lol THAT was a lie lol I could SMELL the previous pizzas that were made and just KNEW the pizza would be YUMMY! Nick!! That medium pizza did NOT disappoint!!! I am so embarrassed to say that I CRUSHED the pizza - 2 slices on the drive home - and the rest when I got home lol I didn't even drink the ginger ale I bought with it because I didn't want to mess up the taste of the pizza in my mouth lol GREEDY!! I am sooooooo glad I found this NY Pizza place!! I will surely be back and if you're reading this, you NEED to stop by and enjoy it too!! WHEW !!Thanks a BUNCH, Nick! I will have to order a large next time lol

More like 3.5 stars. Stop in here a three times to take advantage of their 2 slice and soda special, which is a bargain when you look at the size of their slices. Only got their cheese and pepperoni slices. While not a thin crust, which I prefer, the medium crust is pretty good. They have tables, but it's pretty cramped. A lot of neat memorabilia in the shop. The folks there are very nice and plan on going back again.

I almost don't want to give this place 5 stars bc I don't want others to flock to it and crowd it! It's fantastic pizza and excellent crust!

Looking to carb up? Yes, I keep coming back... Addicted to the fresh cheese, light sauce and thin crust reflective of NY pizza, I have not been disappointed. My dining mate customized half the pizza and I stuck to my traditional cheese. It's the entire package... looking at the cheese webs as I take a slice, breaking it apart from the rest of the pie, oozing cheese... and for a cheese lover this is heavenly! Say "holy cannoli" and you just might be pleasantly surprised, when you bite into a light doughy funnel cake type mixture with cannoli cream drizzled on top. Look closely and notice the chocolate chips in this rich and creamy sweet mixture. This is like a funnel cake exploded into bite size pieces, lightly fried, not greasy or overcooked, topped with sweetness. Next visit will be garlic knots...for sure! Service is quick in this establishment, everyone is friendly (although the owner is snarky and funny). Nick is attentive to all operational aspects, customer satisfaction and cleanliness. Just a few reasons that keep me coming back.

A perfect spot for good quality pizza! I knew as soon as I lifted the crust to grab a slice of my pizza that it was gonna be a good dough, the perfect balance with crunch! We got a small sized pizza with 5 toppings, and it was just enough for us to leave with satisfied tummies. Restaurant is a huge mom/pop vibe kinda eatery, the owner of the shop gave off huge new jersey uncle vibes but in a good way, his service and overall personality was very kind, especially to the kids that we saw come in the shop (seemed like it was their hangout spot). Highly recommend for good pizza!

I really wanted to like this and honestly it looked incredibly appetizing, but something was off about the taste. (Also I got extra mozzarella and that was not smart--just way too much cheese--so much, there were cheese rivers forming .) It's hard to explain, but it tasted slightly chemically--like something foreign came into contact with the cheese perhaps. IDK, but I'm normally a 4-5 piece pizza eater and I was only able to eat 2 and now I feel weird. I got my son spaghetti with butter (because clearly he's incredibly adventurous) and he had one bite and won't finish it. To be fair, he's been ruined bc my husband makes us fresh pasta sometimes but still sharing because it seems telling to me.

Stopped by today for lunch. This was my first visit in over 15 years and Nick, the owner, made me feel like a long-time regular. The Steak and Cheese sub was a good and the overall ambiance / local sports memorabilia of the store appealed to my DMV upbringing. I look forward to visiting again in the near future. Thanks!
