Fabulous Market

We went here for breakfast when we had limited time. The iced lattes were good, and the bagel sandwiches were great. There are a lot of snacks and grab and go meals available. They had some good looking biscotti and muffins.

Stopped by to grab some coffee. The options were plentiful with a solid selection, service was extremely friendly and quick, and the coffee was decent. Interior was clean and well organized with a great selection of goods.

This place is actually fabulous, as the name suggest. Walking by it, you can't get a feel for all the great food and goodies that are inside so please don't overlook this smaller establishment. I had a bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was huge, warm, flaky, buttery and delicious. Bacon was crispy and cheese was melted nicely. Def large enough for two people to share or one really hungry person. When I checked in I got a Yelp perk for a free soup. She didn't have soup and let me choose a free danish instead. I choose the Apple danish. IT WAS AWESOME! Equally as huge as the croissant. The lady/owner is so incredibly sweet. There was a bit of a language barrier but her customer service was polite and patient. The strawberry banana smoothie was about the size of a medium. Overall, The price was not even $10 for the sandwich and drink. This was the perfect spot for a late breakfast. I was so mad that I initially overlooked it and went to a more expensive, less flavorful restaurant for coffee. She has coffee, and wine. Great place! I guess this was my first bodega experience and I loved it! Definitely heard of how great they were and because of HERS, I'm looking forward to my next bodega experience in other cities.

We stayed at the Melrose which was great but we were able to go right next door to the most friendly little place. We ended up coming over every morning for breakfast and even had some evening sandwiches. Prices were very reasonable and a good selection. If you're staying close give it a try you'll be happy you did. It was great !!

I ordered a sandwich off their deli menu and asked if they were still making sandwiches. They said yes, I paid $8 for the sandwich and went to wait. After 30 seconds, the person handed me a pre made, pre wrapped sandwich with no label or indicator of when it had been prepared. $8 for a pre made, cold sandwich? You'd get something fresh and better at Aroma one block over.

We got the coconut cake, some pre-made sandwiches, and oatmeal raisin cookies. All I can say is the food been sitting for a while. Like at least a week. Dry, nasty. No soup left to try. Just awful. Don't go there, not worth the price for such old stock. What a disappointment. Seriously, we tried.

A fabulous little breakfast spot with good coffee and friendly staff. My breakfast bagel was great.
