Not sure how long they've been open but don't expect them to be around long. The food is good but nothing memorable in any regard. Staff were politely indifferent. Outside on a nice night is pleasant but bring mosquito spray. Most notable is not that they charge an automatic 20% service but that they seem to hide it until they give you the final bill and you ask. We didn't see the fee noted on the menu. It wasn't mentioned at check in or seating. We frequent many establishments that charge the mandatory 20% but they earn it, these folks did not. Felt like when you are asked to tip at self checkout. Dirty. When we did ask the server noted they would have said something but we were chatting with them so they didn't. Seems like we were the ones that should have gotten a 20% gratuity.

Had a nice wine and dinner here the other night. I'd say it's more a casual hang spot than more trendy (at least the night I came). Pluses: select your own wines (half sizes possible) for a flight; they offer quarter pours of 5 different wines you could choose from a limited list. Second time here on a Sunday and they feature $5 pours, which is great! We had a chance to speak with the owner and he gave us some insight on the name, featured wines and history of Etabli.

One of my favorite restaurants in the Bloomingdale area in DC. Slightly biassed as I live in this neighborhood It's a nice fusion between Italian and American cuisine. Depending on our mood we order either a combination of deviled eggs, pizza with a cocktail of red wine / flight of rose with Italian options such as shrimp scampi and lamb meatballs. Portions are great. Perfect quantity and the rest is so good. I am a huge fan of their lamb meatballs. Service is very good. They keep it very classy. The restaurant a nice vibe of classy and rustic. Love the ambiance. On a nice summer or fall day, love their outdoor seating and seeing some of our neighbors walk by and even bring them in for an impromptu dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant.

one of my favorite neighborhood spots! it's adorable inside, like semi-casual but also a nice spot for a date night, and has a huge patio with fans and such so, also very fun when the weather is nice! they have an excellent wine selection; you can do wine flights as well (you can customize one too). the cocktails, though, are honestly my favorite! they're all very cool and delicious. the food is wonderful; the pasta is my absolutely favvv ill get any kind they have! the grilled cheese and brussels sprout salad are also fantastic. the service is wonderful; everyone is very fun to talk with!

Great food and wine. Super friendly and professional service, great at recommending wine pairings. Very cozy ambiance and warm with the wood oven in the corner. Would recommend.

Maybe 2.5 stars with the extra credit because they were very nice. When we walked in the door there was a very strong cleaning fluid smell - that should have been our red flag but - we stayed bc they were nice. We ordered a lot of food and barely liked any of it. The next thing was the champagne flight - super fun and a nice variety. The Brussels sprout salad was decent but sort of mayonnaise-y. The shrimp small plate was over cooked - the wood fired Brussels a were under cooked. I had the lamb meatball arabiatta. The meatballs were so tough they were hard to cut and the pasta was overdone and almost mushy. My husband had the blue cheese and bacon creamy pasta which was almost greasy and so so salty. We spent a lot of money and felt sad upon leaving bc the food just wasn't good. The service was very friendly - which saved the evening.

What a wonderful and cozy spot to grab a bite and catch up with friends! We stopped by one evening and had a nice spot near the bar and were able to enjoy a few appetizers and flights! The waiter was great and was able to answer our questions about the wines which was super helpful!

Love this spot! Happy hour is always a great deal but it is also a hidden gem for brunch - $25 unlimited mimosas for 2 hours?! Also love the unique HH popcorn options. The menu changes regularly but almost everything I've tried has been really well done. It used to be a pizza spot so the way they roast veggies in the pizza oven are delectable. Highly recommend on its own or if you can't get in to Red Hen next door :)

We had an amazing dinner this past weekend at Établi! The patio was perfect for a nice Saturday night dinner. We were seated almost immediately and had wonderful service from both our waitress, Ava, and our bartender, Bray. They were both very attentive and made great recommendations about wine, drinks, appetizers, pastas, and desserts. The pesto burrata pasta and the baguette with butter were both 10/10! Thank you Ava and Bray for a great night of drinks, food, and service!
