Good BBQ place. I particularly like the brisket poutine. The washrooms are a bit dark. Sorta annoying. I went on a slow night, so service was pretty good.

Came here after a Costco run. It is fine. Few people were in the restaurant at the time and service was prompt. We had the combo for two. This gave a good sampling of their meats. The food came out quickly. It was all just fine. Nothing outstanding, but fine. The server was attentive I guess but weird. She would ask how the meal was while walking past. So if I wasn't looking or in conversation I'd have no idea who she was talking to. You're not missing anything if you don't go here.

Food was great, setting was elegant yet casual. Service was fine. I am from the south and people always seem a tad bit annoyed when we order here but that could just be me. I also ask questions like server recommendations and things.

While not a bad experience, I expected more. For parking, you'll have to find paid street parking. Thankfully I live close enough to walk to the restaurant. Our initial experience was good but after getting our food we were sort of forgotten. For the price I expected better service and more attention. The setting is pleasant and relaxing. As to the food, flavors were fine. Not great but fine. I had the ribeye but parts of it were tough and grisly so unexpected for the price. My wife had the smoked ribs, which were better.

Met a friend at the bar during the week for a happy hour cocktail. I had read about the bacon bourbon old fashioned and knew I had to try it. It lived up to the hype! Would order it again. We got the appetizer sampler to share and this try three things. Had I just ordered the burnt ends, I would have been equally satisfied. They were the best thing on the platter. The Kahula pig rolls and hickory smoked wings with BBQ sauce were good but the twice smoked and seasoned brisket ends stole the show. The portion was generous. Of course the cornbread with honey butter was delicious. Yes, a little dry, but that's what the butter is for :) A 3.5 but rounding up to 4 stars.

This place was smaller than I thought it would be but packed much flavor and lots and lots of portions. Usually when you order steak frites, they slice the steak for you and it's a lot thinner but here they literally give you a whole steak that's worth the money and I probably bet you won't be able to finish it (in a good way). If you are considering coming here with a large party, I would call first because of the size of the place, but I'm pretty sure they can accommodate you. Our service was nothing special, but our waiter did accommodate our big party to the best of his ability. Will definitely be back

Great ambiance. Great service. Horrible food. Burnt ends were rubbery, smoked wings didn't taste smoked, Kaluha pig rolls were ok- but not enough to give it more stars. Left most of the food un-eaten.

Truth in advertising, as all the flavors I tasted were deliciously Smokey! I came here with coworkers from our home office after landing in DC. It was walking distance from my hotel which made it a bonus little burn. Our waitress Stephanie was hilarious and friendly, accommodating the various dietary restrictions in our group. Their menu runs the grilling gamut from beef to seafood, and they have both inside and outside seating. We started with their appetizer sampler, of which my favorites were the juicy burnt ends and chicken wings with sweet chili sauce. The sweet flavor contrasted nicely with the smokier bbq chicken. Portion size was very nice as well; it was a very juicy bird. The fries could have been a touch crispier but still and all pretty good. As far as drinks, make sure to enjoy the bacon bourbon old fashioned. The flavor stays true to the venue's name and garnished with a strip of caramelized bacon and a maraschino cherry.

Was staying a couple blocks away and this was the only place open when I arrived on a Sunday night. Sat at the bar and watched football, bartender was super friendly and engaging. I got the crab cakes (the price was MP-ended up being $45) which were good, but the slaw and fries were average. A bit expensive for what I got but maybe the smoked meats are better. Overall it seems like a good option if you are nearby and need something outside of the Amazon HQ restaurants!
