Emmy Squared Pizza - Navy Yard

Three words -- Emmy Squared delivered!!!The pizza was deliciously unique, with a crispy crust and just the right amount of toppings. The wings were flavorful and tender, and the chicken sandwich was a standout--juicy and perfectly seasoned. The waffle fries (amazing!) added the perfect crunch, rounding out the meal. The location near the Nationals Ballpark is ideal for grabbing a bite before or after the game (grabbed my bite after the game), with a great vibe and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit for anyone craving creative comfort food!

Came here for dinner on a quiet Sunday. The interior is spacious and we got seated at a booth. The service was fine, the food took a little long to come out. We ordered 3 items: zia fries, le big matt burger, and the good paulie pizza. Our fries came out first, and that came out quick. They were good and loaded with toppings. We ended up eating most of it because the burger and pizza took longer to arrive. Emmy squared boasts about their burger and it was pretty good, there was also good, but a little on the oily side. I appreciated how they serve the pizza, on a rack, keeping the crust nice and crisp.We ended up with more than we could finish. I probably would order one less item next time, and not come here when I'm starving.

Emmy has been on my list for quite awhile and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to visit. The food was really good; wings, pizza, and burger. I think that was the biggest surprise. The food was a bit pricey and some of the dishes were a-la-cart, so being mindful when planning. The bartenders were nice and made good drinks, which is important in neighborhood spots like this.

Pizza wasn't bad. However, being from Detroit the dough texture on the pizza was off in my opinion.

We came here after moving our daughter into her college dorm. We needed a reload on carbs for the next couple of days of moving. My daughter knows of the other location in Shaw and she says it's pretty good pizza.We parked in a lot a half block away. It was a great parking location. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by a host who seated us. We got a nice spot on the left of the restaurant entry, with a wall of full windows, perfect. Our server was Hamzeh or Hafmez, he was AMAZING. We will definitely be back. Delicious pizza.

We were so tired from running around site seeing so we decided to stay in at the hotel and order pizza. Finding a place that had decent reviews, delivered or had a delivery service option that were good was more challenging than I thought.We decided Emmy Squared at the Navy Yard looked like our best option. This is our only pizza in the DC area and it was great! We ordered a Caesar salad, bread sticks and a make it your own Detroit style 8x10 pizza. Everything was packaged well and the hot stuff was still pretty warm despite the Uber Eats issue (don't know what it was, but we ended up with a different driver after Uber said the order was on the way).The salad was fresh and had an excellent dressing on it. It was just what my wife wanted instead of pizza 'this late'. Until she tried the bread sticks and then nothing was so heavy or too late. The bread sticks were cooked to perfection and had a great seasoning on them. The pizza was excellent and exactly what I hoped for. Cooked right, not doughy and had the crispy edges you hope a Detroit style pizza has.We really enjoyed our meal from Emmy Squared and have vowed to return when we visit Washington, D.C. in the future.

Stopped by on a Saturday night and the restaurant was mostly empty except for the front where there were several people waiting to be greeted and sat by the host. The host was no where to be found. I believe we had to wait almost 5 mins until someone asked if we've been helped. Once we were sat, the service got a lot better. Can't remember her name but our server was really cool. I got a skinny marg and it was crazy strong. I was having trouble finishing it. We made our own pizza with our choice of toppings (bacon, mushrooms and onions). I actually loved the Detroit style pizza--especially the corner slices. I just wish the service and drinks were a bit better.

Stumbled upon this cute pizza joint while taking a stroll through the Navy Yards in DC. The bar area is beautiful. The restaurant is a definite vibe with the decor and background music. Hafez sat us in a booth and took care of us right away. The Bourbon Watermelon Splash cocktail is delicious! We got the Brussels Sprouts salad and "Angel" pizza. Both were very tasty. No complaints here!

Great portion sizes and service. Bartender Cailey was such a huge help with questions! Would recommend!

This was my first time at Emmy's and I've become a fan. The If Looks Could Kale salad was a nice surprise and the Deluxe with pepperoni is a winner!! Joshua greeted us at the door and was our server. He paid great attention and was very kind. He has good energy. Definitely recommend Emmy's for a group or date night.
