Ellie Bird

This is a really good Asian fusion place. We ended up sitting at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and attentive. "Rachel's favorite cake" is now my favorite cake. I tried to find a similar recipe online to make it myself it's so delicious, but I couldn't find anything quite like it online.

My wife and I and daughter had our Valentine's day dinner here 2 days after Valentine's day, and everything about it was great.The dinner starts off with bread, which was warm, soft with some oil and butter. A great way to wet out appetites.My wife and daughter ordered the prix fixe menu, and I had the steak.The first round which we shared, we had Yellowfin tuna tartare, an order of yucca tots and duck lumpia. Both were excellent, I particularly enjoyed the duck lumpia with its peanut hoisin sauce. The yucca tots were wonderful with the 2 sauces that it comes with, one had a bit citrus and the other a bit spicy.For the main course, I had steak, my wife had the pork presse pozole. All were very good. This might be a nitpick because 2 days ago I had A5 Wagyu steak which was melt in your mouth incredible, this was not as good, but then again what can compare to A5 wagyu? For dessert we shared the Rachel's chocolate chai buttercream cake and the black forest sundae. I particularly loved the black forest sundae for the dark chocolate and whipped cream which was enjoyably not too sweet.I can highly recommend Ellie Bird as everything was excellent!

My family and I had a fantastic time at Ellie Bird! We ordered the french omelette, unlimited pancakes, chicken and biscuit, and tornado omelette, and everything was perfect.The French omelette is far from ordinary - its texture is so soft and smooth, it literally melts in your mouth. The tornado omelette, a Korean style omurice with kimchi fried rice, was also packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. The chicken and gravy stood out as well, with a subtle hint of curry that wasn't overpowering and was a perfect touch.And let's not forget the coffee which is absolute perfection! I highly recommend trying a variety of dishes here because everything is just that good. Lastly, the service is also chef's kiss. The server was attentive and friendly the entire time we were dining. I'll definitely be back to explore the dinner menu next time!

We celebrated our anniversary with Ellie Bird and the whole experience from beginning to end was *chefs kiss*.The restaurant was very busy when we arrived and despite a 10-15 minute wait to get seated, the hostess apologized and promised to grab us something for our troubles. There was a little wreath and an anniversary card on the table with some chocolates and we were immediately given a pastry basket and some biscuits (with some very delicious honey butter, may I add ). We ordered Pineapple Bun Sliders, Tornado Omlette, Ellie Bird Latte, and the Unlimited Pancakes option. All were quite good, the only small complaint I had was the Tornado Omlette was very oily at the bottom of the plate. Overall, I would've wished the flavors in all of the dishes were a little bolder but everything was solid. What made this place a 5 star was the amazing service. From beginning to end, we were well taken care of by all of the staff, and to help celebrate our anniversary, they even brought out complimentary champagne to celebrate us. I felt very loved and appreciated and would love to come back to try their dinner menu and other dishes!

Restaurant is cute. Not a very big waiting area so crowded on Sunday afternoon. We had 12:15 reservations, but they were running behind.Gave us a chance to see some dishes, which was good. Fresh juices were good. Kimchi Bloody Mary wasn't bad. Wasn't sure what to expect, so nice surprise.Onion soup was a bit pricy for what was served. Definitely should have been served hotter. The guests in my group didn't want to send it back since the portion of the soup was so small. They thought it should have been an appetizer item, not entree.Kimchi fried rice, omelette, and pancakes were all very tasty.Didn't give four stars since the soup was like warm, greens and potatoes with the omelette could have been a bit more as well. Would I go again, yes. Hopefully next time the soup would be hotter.

Came to Ellie Bird on a Saturday for brunch and a birthday celebration and everything was fantastic. Making a reservation online was easy and they sent instructions for parking ahead of time which was thoughtful and helpful. The staff were welcoming and very attentive. They gave us great suggestions for several items on the menu. We ordered several dishes which were adequate enough to share with several people. Even got a cute little mochi waffle with a candle for the birthday queen!There's a kids menu which includes the unlimited pancakes. Also got a few fresh fruit/veggie juices and the delicious ube latte! Everything was pretty inside and clean. Definitely an awesome spot for brunch with great food and coffee. Will be back to try other items on their regular dinner menu!

A pretty creative upscaled restaurant with great aesthetic and branding. We went during restaurant week and they were able to squeeze us in! The food was definitely fun and innovative with well executed Asian x Italian fusion. Every dish was delicious and I went home with a full stomach. The 3 course meal for restaurant week came out to be around $80 with no alcohol. Which this restaurant has some great dishes, this was widely expensive. I don't think it lives up to it's prices, especially for restaurant week. Waiters were super nice though.

This mama didn't make reservations on a Sunday night after taking her kids to a nearby fun activity. We were tired and it was a little past our dinner time. A neighboring restaurant couldn't accommodate us and the best that restaurant could do was to give us reservations 2.5 hours later. We have heard good things about Ellie Bird and we have been to Rooster and Owl before so we decided to give this place a try. Luckily, the hostess was kind and gave us seating at the chef's counter. This mama was so grateful they accommodated our family with our rambunctious kids! Even though I felt like the setting wasn't a place for my wild kids, the servers still gave us top notch and attentive service. They were understanding when our son spilled his water all over the floor. They were accommodating with extra plates and utensils. They even brought out a complimentary tasting dish from the chef. Their food menu is short and simple. Our kids picked the buttered pasta and chicken cutlet with fries. As an adult, I really enjoyed that lightly coated chicken cutlet. The bread basket had a simple take on the Chinese pineapple buns using Hawaiian rolls. The French onion soup had a hearty and comforting beef broth. I really enjoyed my seafood bouillabaisse. The seafood was cooked perfectly and the broth was flavorful. My husband enjoyed his pork presse. The meat was tender and fall off the bone goodness. My daughter loves birds so she was excited to color the kid's menu and she loved the wallpaper in the bathrooms. This impromptu dinner at the chef's counter was made possible by excellent service and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and our time there.

SOLID 4.5 stars. RW Winter Menu: From day one that we visited Ellie Bird we were impressed with the level of service and quality of food. Again for a restaurateur who has a Michelin star, the bar is going to be high! We've been 4 times now and have gotten to know Avery and even some of our fav kitchen staff. We had Sarah as our server and she was AWESOME with figuring out gluten and dairy free options. Restaurant week options were nice and having a la carte options was great. The steak is ALWAYS perfection and I really enjoyed the fish. Quite frankly- the side order of French fries were AH MAH ZING ! Sorbet delish. Just solid quality :)

Parking garage across the street where they do validate the parking. They sat me right away with a choice of inside or outside on a beautiful day. My friends and I came for brunch. We didn't order any cocktails but they looked delicious. I did get an Ellie Bird Latte which was super delicious.I ordered the Pineapple Bun Sliders and the Tornado Omelet. Food came decently quickly and both were absolutely delicious. I definitely want to come back for their dinner but everyone who has raved about here was spot on. Definitely recommend!
