El Sol Food Truck

Couldn't find the food truck, but I found the restaurant at this location instead and their tacos were delicious. I've been thinking about them ever since. I definitely need to return. Someone else ordered a shrimp cocktail that looked pretty delicious too.

I've been meaning to try the brick and mortar location of El Sol for awhile so when I came across their food truck (who knew they had one?) I gave it a shot. After trying it I will definitely be on the lookout for this truck again and will check out their restaurant.I had the three taco combo which also comes with a small side of guacamole and homemade tortilla chips. I tried their steak, chicken and vegetable tacos. All three were a cut above every other traditional taco food truck (e.g. DC taco truck, etc). Unfortunately I forgot to specify that I wanted corn tortillas so I assumed I'd be given boring flour tortillas. Not so! They gave me awesome, fresh corn tortillas which were delicious. The guacamole on the side is a nice touch. It was some of the better guacamole I've had in DC. They give you a small amount of tortilla chips (seemed like eight or so) but I didn't mind because the quality was so superior.I'll be back often as long as they keep showing up near Farragut square!
