I wanted to try this place for a while. I ordered through DoorDash. The handmade tortilla is great, but that's where the complements end. The Guac was literally disgusting. The salsa was thick and weird. The carne asada looked and tasted like it had been cooked in a microwave--that, or it was just super old meat. The chicken was even worse. Dry beyond belief. Honestly, the food here was terrible. I'm utterly confused by the positive reviews. I won't be back.

None of our four takeout burritos were as ordered, even though the order was clearly written on the outside of the wrapper. All were cold -- not just not hot but not even warm -- and wrapped loosely in some sort of sandwich wrap instead of foil. Guac was just a few chunks of underripe avocado. No sour cream. Shredded cheese that didn't melt even slightly. $50 of garbage.

I've ordered take-out from this place a few times, very tasty and great value. However, on 2 occasions my order was not correct, kitchen did not pay attention to my request for burrito with no pico/sour cream and i got both. I've heard similar issues from co-workers who have ordered here in the past. it's truly a shame because the food is tasty, but with only 30 mins for lunch i can't afford to wait around for a remake if/when my order is wrong.

We catered El Sabor for my son's birthday party--the food was a hit and very delicious! However, the service was not great--the food was 45 minutes late (they had an issue with the parking enforcement not letting them park, but it shouldn't have caused a 45 min delay), they forgot utensils, and couldn't figure out how to use the heating contraptions. I had to call to find out where the food was-there was little communication and afterwards nothing was done to try rectify the situation. I would stick to ordering takeout or dining in and choose elsewhere if need catering!

Very unassuming store front that simply knocked my socks off. Grabbed lunch with a friend and ended up texting my wife to ask if she wanted anything to go after I had 2 bites. There's lots of attractive food options in the area, don't sleep on this one!

The food and drinks here are really good, and the restaurant is cute and has indoor and some limited outdoor seating, but the wait times are always ridiculous. We've been several times where we ask them the wait, and they underestimate by 45 mins.They need to1) hire more staff - at one point they had just 2 people working for both front and back of house 2) prep more items - they made the agua frescas from scratch, which is delicious but usually to be able to promptly serve, you'd have a few that you made in big batch that morning rather than custom squeezing fruit each time

I've been a customer of El Sabor for a while, and I have enjoyed so many of their bean, cheese, and chorizo pupusas! They're hot, delicious, and affordable. Plus, they always come out quickly. Today, I veered off my usual path and got a barbacoa burrito that I naturally described as "incredibly memorable." The burrito is saucy, cheesy, and filled with meat. There's a wonderful smoky flavor that is complemented perfectly by both hot sauces. And of course, it's huge! I am so thankful to live near this place!

The food here is so good! I didn't know what authentic tacos truly tasted like until I came here. The service is kind and the environment makes me feel like I'm in Mexico. It's a cozy cute restaurant. They make the tortillas from scratch and the food tastes fresh. In the picture:I got one of each of the tacos with the corn tortilla. I got it to go. I would suggest eating them right away though I could see these had the potential if too left too long they could leak through. The sauces are made from scratch everything is so good about this place. Truly a hidden gem.
