This place looks very 'hole in the wall' on the outside. There are a couple of booth style seating for dining in. Amazing amazing food. Fresh house made tortillas, delicious agua fresca all served in generous portions. You will be planning your next visit back for more after your first bite. Service is very straight forward as you walk up to the register order and wait for them to call out your to go order or deliver it to your seat. Might need to use a translation app if your Spanish is a bit rusty like myself but man! It's good!

For authentic Mexican tacos and cuisine, it doesn't get much better than Taqueria Y Rotisserie El Rey. I've visited this place a few times for tacos and their quality of food and service is consistent. Even though my Spanish proficiency is limited and it seems the workers here almost exclusively speak Spanish, the ordering process hasn't been the easiest, however, effective. I appreciate that staff are always intentional about making sure my order was taken correctly by repeating my order AND showing me the order screen to ensure the order is accurate. Also, time between ordering and receiving the food is impressive. The tacos here are very delicious and the corn tortillas are freshly made using a countertop corn tortilla machine. Lately this place has been my go-to for carne asada tacos and their fajitas are also delicious. They do have a private parking lot albeit a small one. Give them a try and when you do, be patient when ordering if you are not fluent in Spanish.

I'm pretty content with portion on this location, which justifies their prices. Their service is not the best over the phone or in person however I will recommend placing order via phone and then picking it up. It's just less stressful. If you eat there they might cater a bit but their vibe is just annoyed with you for being there & possibly hear their gossip.My mom prefers this location over La Cabaña & the other el Rey (they are not owned by same person & they are different btw) I have personally had their tacos Al pastor, Carnitas and I had a Carne Asada Huarache which contained undercooked meat :/ sure it looked well cooked but you could not even chew the meat, if you tried you will come to see the red of the undercooked inside. To add to my disappointment the meat lack any flavor, no seasoning, no salt. The only salt you could taste was that of the flour. Overall, I like their tacos because they are hefty!! I was getting full with 1 1/2 and I do eat both tortillas that they come with it. (Doble tortilla) Lemons and Rábano were not fresh and had a funny taste. Sauces were okay, red was better than the green sauce. Carnitas had the best taste compare to Al pastor.Attaching photos of one of the hefty tacos & the undercooked "huarache". Thought I'd check out which restaurant in the area makes chicken breaded torta the closest like I had in Mexico City. I'd say this place is one of the closest so far. Out of all the places I tried in the area, this one is pricier than the average. The roll is bigger than the average too. The amount of chicken (2 cutlets instead of 1) and cheese though is quite more generous than the average that it feels like the $9.53 I paid is justified. Definitely good enough for me to order it again in the future.

Dropped in for something quick and man o man did they hit the spot. We got four different ones - carne asada, cuerito, pastor & carnitas. All were absolutely stoopid. The cuerito I've never had before and so glad I chose it. It's pig skin and has a gelatinous look that might be slightly off-putting but the texture is chewier than initially thought (this is a good thing) and the flavor was amazing. They are served in soft tacos which are large and made of corn and so good. Dont forget to try the spicy avocado cream sauce 'cause it def hits the spot. Enjoy!

When I got to this location I wasn't too impressed with the exterior. The interior is classic cantina/taco shop vibes. Order your food, grab a seat and they will wait your table, bring you limes, salsa, napkins, drinks. It's the whole restaurant experience, but it's also a mom and pop jaunt. Never sleep on local businesses. This is quality handmade nice large tacos with plenty of food to fill. I promise you if you have a taco craving, you won't be disappointed. What a hidden gem. Don't blow up my new taco spot though. Or do. I'd love to see them expand.

I called to get tortas when I got there, they weren't ready I had to wait another 10 mins .The licuados I had where almost half way when I got them. The tortas when I open them it looks like they punched them once they finished preparing them.Customer service is not it here . They have to change the staff.

The thing that bothers me is those decorations from 15 years ago, they never clean or changed. They have so much dust on them from not being touched at all and that says something about the environment and how they are not really worried about the well being of their restaurant. It smells horrid and the food is never fresh, It always comes cold. Even the staff has an attitude and they are very unprofessional, they act like they are forced to be there but they flirt with the men any chance they get. Overall not a good experience and would definitely not recommend. If you wanna have fresh food, a clean table to eat on, a place where you won't get attitude and where you won't have to worry about someone flirting with any man that you take in there, I suggest going somewhere else.

The food was quite plain and I feel like they could add more. The tacos had more onions the the meat itself. The torta were very plain and could use more vegetables. The quesadillas cheese was horrible and the toritillas are dry, and the service wasn't the best. The food was also overpriced!!
