One of those spots you order from if you're trying to save some cash.This does come with consequences though if you're used to higher tier carry out food. The Mumbo Sauce wings were a bit over fried. Easy to over fry if the wings don't have much meat on them (they weren't very plump). The egg drop soup low key taste like sink water with egg... that was not a vibe.Again, I saved a lot of money. You can survive off the wings. Don't get the egg drop soup.

By special request, I was able to skip cooking tonight and placed a pick up order with Eastern Carryout. I arrived for my order which surprising was not completely ready after 20mins. Regardless, I did not complain since I've been going here for years and personally never no complaints. The food is usually to our liking. We're a big fan of their chicken wings and sadly since moving further away from Eastern's we of course can not get delivery. But of course since it was requested for dinner I gladly made a trip to pick up. The young lady at the register never fails to forget remember me even after months/years of coming which speaks volume in my book. This establishment always has a high volume of calls and pick up orders due to GrubHub etc. so definitely keep that in mind with placing an order.

Great portions, but prices posted on the signage in the store are not accurate and the food was okay but nothing special.

Got the combo meal general tso's chicken. There was enough food for two meals which was nice but the food was forgettable. The chicken was good, not the best takeout I've ever had, but the fried rice was pretty bland, it had nothing in it besides onions and didn't even seem like fried rice. Probably wouldn't order from here again unless I had to.

They all look and taste the same (giggity?), and oftentimes there isn't much that distinguishes one from another.So, how to decide whether a Chinese carry-out is worth that phone call when you're a bit peckish and too lazy to cook, and in the mood for something greasy but so, so satisfying?You judge based on customer service. What you come back for is that a place makes you feel comfortable and the servers are nice. You come back for the relationship and the banter.That's why I come back to this place time and again.I don't even remember what I ordered when I visited it. What to do remember is that it tasted like standard Chinese for and because I had forgotten to order a drink with my food. Instead of running my card again, the server just gave me what I wanted, and said to come back soon because the interest on the can of soda is 120 percent.I came back the next week and ordered more food so I could pay for the soda. Just as she was the previous time, she cashier/server was extremely nice and engaging while my carry-out was being cooked in the back.If you're looking for a go-spot, I definitely recommend Eastern Carry Out. I often tell friends that eating with someone sometimes isn't about the food - but a matter of who is there to eat it. Here, the same concept applies. The food is secondary because all Chinese food is the same - it's a matter of who is there to make it and who I am supporting.

I CALL TO PLACE AN ORDER OVER THE PHONE AND THE LADY WHOCLAIMS SHES THE MANAGER TELLS ME " is that it? you always ask for a lot " I QUICKLY HUNG UP ON HER RUDE ASS AND PLACED MY ORDER ON THE SITE. I get to the location and of course I run into the person who answered the phone. I walk in carrying my 2 year old child and have a lot of stuff in my hands so I walk up to the table to try and place my food down and she yells and tells me "DONT TOUCH ITS NOT YOUR FOOD"I yell back at her and say I didn't lay a finger on the damn bag . Watch your fucking mouth! Worst experience I've ever had at this location. Hope she gets fired !!!!

Ordered Via Doordash. The food takes long to come almost an hour. Luckily it was hot! However I opened my "chicken" & cheese to see it was not chicken! Im not sure what kind of mystery meat it was. But I was completely grossed out it was slimy and super greasy and the smell. I also ordered chicken wings w/fried rice to find it was (Amarillo rice with onions) and ordered shrimp lo mein for my daughter. Unfortunately we did not eat any of the food because I was completely thrown off by the mystery meat chicken & cheese. Doordash was able to compensate for the sandwich. However all my money was wasted because we did not eat anything. I will definitely not be dining here again.

Food was terrible. A large seafood lo mein contained 3 shrimp, no other seafood. Garlic scallop had three scallops, and the entire dish was doused in hot sauce. Ask if the food was cold right out of the bag.

Why is it so hard to find good chicken wings with mumbo sauce in the dmv? Crazy. The wings were small here and they don't put the mumbo sauce and ketchup on the wings and fries which is fine but the mumbo sauce wasn't good . The worst was the customer service. If I am paying my money and I say thank you and the person behind me say thank you, you could at least say you're welcome back. My whole encounter with lady at the counter was not welcoming. She acted annoyed and make you feel she is doing you a favor by you eating there. Smh again crazy.

I am disappointed and angry. I have been coming to this restaurant for years. The lady that took my order over the phone clearly has anger issues. She was being so disrespectful to my mother when she went to go pick up the order. She claimed that I said 2 orders of wings, but I did not. She was like "why are you here?", just completely being unnecessarily rude. I am never coming here again.
