I've been eyeing this place for a while because I like little hole-in-the-wall type takeout places. I ordered orange chicken (crunchy and delicious as it should be), kung pao chicken (could've been a touch spicier but good), broccoli in garlic sauce (surprisingly spicy which I happen to love but watch out), white rice, fried rice, and egg drop soup (honestly, some of the best I've had. Egg rolls were average, but on the whole this place was AWESOME. Good value for money too. Plus you can order ahead online and set a pickup time. I'll definitely be returning.

Love this place for takeout. Actually the inside is nice looking so I might try to eat inside sometime soon. Orange chicken has actual orange peels and is the best. So good.

Not the best, had cashew chicken...it had good chicken and veggies but was missing that Chinese "zing"...it was bland at best. The dumplings were WAY too doughy....def not great;(. Delivery thru Grub Hub....originally estimated to arrive by 8:19. Then updated to 8:45-9:02:(. Overall, disappointed.

TL;DR: not what I had expected, but quite edible. Average Chinese takeout/delivery fare that satisfies, but not very exciting. Eastern is tucked into a tiny strip mall on South Kings Highway next to 7-Eleven and a laundromat. It's not gourmet, but it DOES offer some American dishes (subs, chicken wings, et cetera) if you have friends hanging out in your living room who don't necessarily want Chinese, even though you're pining for some lo mein. I'd never ordered from Eastern before, but it's snowing outside and I felt adventurous. I'm not terribly excited, but it's not bad Chinese. As I was chewing on shrimp toast that seemed to require more mastication than is typical of anything on a Chinese appetizer menu, I thought back to college, where post-midnight essay-binge fare usually led to the one local Chinese take-out place that really wouldn't be your first choice, but filled you up when you needed something at 2 AM. Or maybe I'm being harsh... I DID just get a delivery driver (I'm sorry, dude... I should have tipped you even more) to hand me lunch in the sleet-snow-ice thing happening outside. And the food is OK. The aforementioned shrimp toast is overcooked, and a bit too chewy. The boneless spare ribs are not tender, and I find them rubbery, even though they are standard-issue boneless ribs and taste OK. Egg roll is doughy/chewy but good, and the chicken-corn soup is not quite what I had expected but good. I had always thought chicken-corn soup was a bit more .... creamier? Whiter? .... than this version; Eastern serves up tender chicken and corn in what appears to be a base of egg-drop soup. I don't know whether I'd order from Eastern again, given that there are other options around that suit my tastes better.

Still my favorite Chinese food take out place. I use to come to their old location and thankfully their new location isn't too far away. The combination fried rice and crab ragoons and that crispy beef is my go-to!

We have been ordering from here for more than 10 years. I absolutely love their food and would choose no other Chinese food place over this one.

I usually order from here it's my go to when I'm at work but today for lunch my general Tso chicken was hard and dry like it was old. I was two seconds to calling them back but I just threw it away. I was very disappointed and probably won't order from this location again.

So disappointing. I didn't get what I ordered, the sauce was way too sweet. Just awful.

DANGER!! Food contained sharp metal pieces. Ordered here through Uber Eats. General Tso chicken had STEEL WOOL PIECES cooked into the chicken. Sharp and stiff pieces of METAL! Dangerous and Disgusting and will never order here again. No response from Uber eats about the safety issue. :( This could KILL someone and at the very least cut your esophagus (google it!)

This is the WORST food I've ever gotten from a carryout. Bland as ever! I wish I could give 0 stars.
