I went to Dumpling ForLife the first weekend they went open, but they didn't have a Yelp page yet. I'm glad to see they're still standing a few months in because it can be hard maintaining a stand at the mall. There are FOUR Asian fast food places right next to this place, but they're able to stand out by offering fresh, handmade noodles and dumplings! I've had their Dan Dan noodles, peanut noodles, and a variety of their fried and steamed dumplings. The noodles are very generous portions. The peanut noodles didn't keep super well, but I think it's because the noodles just got soggy sitting in the sauce. When eaten fresh, though, they're really good! I also enjoy their dumplings and sweet soy sauce. I hope they continue to thrive at their new location.

Food: overall great dumplings; veggie ones felt like a different thinner dough and all of them were falling apart making them hard to dip Service: fast and friendly! Great for a quick bite at the mall.

Making a soft launch in Westfield Montgomery Mall, Dumpling ForLife caught my eye. As a lover of dumplings, I'm always ready to try a new dumpling place. Service was fast and friendly, counter was clean, and the dumplings were great! I ordered the combo pork buns and dumplings with the pork and shrimp dumplings. Everything was the perfect, ready to eat temperature with the right amount of juices in the pork and shrimp dumplings. Full of enough flavor that I almost didn't want to use my ginger soy sauce (which I personally love to use). Since this is their soft launch, they said they are trying to keep things low-key, but I hope they flourish here in the mall where a lot of places tend to stru

Solid offerings for a very reasonable price. Staff are incredibly friendly! Definitely now a go-to staple in the Westfields Mall food court.

This is my go-to place for awesome dumplings in the Rockville/Bethesda area. Many other places are too greasy for their pan fried dumplings. This place makes it perfect! With many flavors to choose from, they're all tasty. I love their pan fried pork buns! You gotta try these, they're delicious. Their prices are very reasonable too.

I got food from Dumpling Forlife a few months ago when they first opened. At the time they only had dumplings and dan dan noodles. I went back again this past weekend with my daughter and was pleasantly surprised to see that they have expanded their menu to include noodle soups! None of the other food court vendors offered noodle soup so this was definitely a standout for me. I ordered the beef noodle soup and was happy to see the amount and quality of the beef and all the Asian veggies (bok choy, enoki mushrooms, green onions). The broth was a little light for me but once I added a little hot sauce (provided), it tasted perfect. My daughter had the dumpling/bun combo, I tried one of her pork dumplings and it was really good too, albeit a little on the thin side. All in all the price point was spot on for the amount of food, and I look forward to eating there again to try their mini soup dumplings.

I wish I had gotten a photo of it, but I pretty much inhaled it as soon as I got home! I was at the mall to grab a few things, and on my way out I wanted to get something for dinner. Dumplings for Life is a new addition to the Westfield Montgomery food court, and it looked promising! The peanut noodles satisfied my desire for Fuzhounese banmian, and I'll definitely be back to try the buns and dumplings. The ladies at the counter were also very sweet.

Sorry, this place just is not good. I've been here twice. Had dumplings the first time and got the dan dan noodles and the spicy wontons the second time. Dumplings and wontons were mediocre at best and tasted kind of like frozen dumplings from the grocery store. The noodles were super off in flavor - this is not what dan dan noodles are supposed to taste like. Also, you have to add $2 for pork which dan dan noodles are supposed to contain pork usually. I think this place probably tries to cater to the general public as opposed to making more authentic dumplings/Chinese food. If you come, just don't expect anything too authentic!
