Doña Maria's Catering is a family-owned and -run Bolivian food truck that can be found parked next to the German Gourmet, during the week as well as on the weekends! They offer daily and weekend specials.The menu is modest, as the focus is on making each dish super flavorful and delicious. Plates Pique Macho, Chicarrones, Pescado Frito, Pollo al Horno, etc.The hubs and I saw this while we were in the area, and we had to check it out! We ordered the K'awi (a delicious soothing broth with a jerky-like beef, filled with potatoes and chuño; the hubs really enjoyed this!), the Lapin (a flank steak that is seasoned to perfection! It was cooked well, super juicy, and loved the spices on it - it had a very savory and a tangy-ness to it and just so delicious with the rice and the oven-roasted potato that it came with!; this also comes with a small side of fresh salad with tomatoes and fresh queso), and the Mani (a traditional Bolivian soup prepared with peanuts and potatoes; this was creamy and had thinly-diced potatoes on top, making this a heartier soup).The couple that was running the truck were both very sweet, welcoming, and very kind! I personally thought that this was the best Bolivian fare that I've had - each of the dishes were prepared with such care and love, and everything was homemade.
