I had been dying to check out Divino in Georgetown, especially since they've been advertising live jazz music for the past three weeks. I had the opportunity to visit yesterday and I still can't get over how wonderful the experience was.The live jazz music starts at 7:30 PM on Tuesdays and goes until 10:30 PM. It's such a refreshing find--a place in Georgetown where parking is easy! It's closer to the residential side of Georgetown, yet it's in a lovely and convenient location within a hotel.Divino offers outdoor seating, bar seating, and a dining area. While their menu features plenty of pasta-focused dishes, Bronzino, and steak, I was primarily there for the bar and the music. However, I did get the opportunity to try the focaccia, tiramisu, and chocolate mousse. The standout winner was definitely the chocolate mousse with strawberries--absolutely divino ! I also sampled the bartender's choice of red wine, which was phenomenal. As a gin and tonic enthusiast, I was thrilled when the bartender made me an incredibly refreshing gin and tonic. The guests at Divino are very social, business-focused, and kind, and the staff was absolutely attentive and amazing. I can't wait to visit again and try more of the menu!

Looking for something new around us, and craving Italian, we tried the Divino last night and were very pleasantly surprised. The space is clean and simple with a softness that does well at keeping the sound noise down. The service was friendly and polite without being too on top of you. We started with cocktails, both of which were delicious in particular the Amaro Old Fashion. The "pumpkin" soup which was actually a squash as listed on the menu was perfect on a cold night and did not show the heavy hand with salt too many places add to dishes. We also enjoyed the little lettuce salad. My wife loves a good chicken Milanese, so could not pass it up...when it came, with a side salad of its own, she was almost giddy that it was actually crisp and crunch cutting into it, given how many times the dish comes out soggy. My mushroom risotto served on a plate with what I think were air fried mushrooms on top was fantastic. We even split their goat cheese cheesecake with pears, something we rarely do but highly encourage. All in all, a great meal, and we will be back again. We also appreciated the smaller menu of what appear to be well executed dishes. Great to have this place in the neighborhood.

just go burger is indulgent James Beard award-winning chef Michael Schlow permanently closed coastal Italian-minded Casolare here in 2020. Schlow quickly repurposed the restaurant space as Glover Park Grill, with an American menu full of steaks, burgers, and roast chicken.

This place is a bit far up glover park in a hotel bar. When we went, there weren't many people there but that's to be expected since we went when people are most likely out of town. The space is wonderful. We had a nice quiet dinner and some wonderful food. We had the pre fixe menu. I had the soup and had a cheesecake. My friend had the salad and espresso martini tiramisu. We both had the spaghetti. We didn't love the appetizers or dessert. We loved the spaghetti. I would definitely come back again to try the other pastas and burger also!

If you're looking for classic, high end Italian, Divino is the place. We came here for their special Seven Pastas Christmas Eve dinner and it was amazing!! Every pasta dish was even better than the last. My favorite was the stuffed agnolotti, which I'd never had anywhere else before. The amaro old fashioned - delicious. All of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is nice without being pretentious. I absolutely plan on coming back here!

Located inside the Glover Park Hotel, DIVINO is a new northern Italian restaurant that recently made its debut. They use locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients on their menu items, and they not only have dinner, but breakfast and lunch options as well.We started off with:+Warm Honeynut Squash Soup - with maple granola and sage+Winter Radish Carpaccio - with stracciatella, green apples, roasted almonds, and Meyer lemon+Crispy Fingerling Potatoes - with rosemary and sea salt+Earth n Eats Roasted Cauliflower - with fonduta and poached cranberries+and, a Caesar Salad - prepared with little gem lettuce, pecorino sardo, and anchovy panagrattatoFor our mains, we tried the Acquerello Risotto Vino Rossa (prepared with matsutake mushrooms and Parm 'solo di bruna'), the Agnolotti Del Plin (with braised oxtail, Tuscan kale, and grana podano), the Chicken Milanese (with a panko-crusted chicken breast, mixed baby lettuces, and charred lemon), and the Pumpkin Ravioli (prepared with koginut squash, Parm, brown butter, and sage).Staff are friendly, and the ambiance is cool and casual, with the dark wooden decor; I loved the arches and the beams.I'd love to check out their HH, as they had items such as the ricotta crostino, calamari, and arancinis.Limited restricted street parking is available around the area.+friendly service+located inside the Glover Park Hotel

My partner and I got to experience Divino at its grand opening. From the moment you step through the door, the atmosphere is buzzing with a modern flair, yet the decor is warm and inviting. We had a bounty of its offerings. The standouts were its wood fired meats and handcrafted pastas. The tomahawk steak, cooked over an open flame was a perfect medium rare, juicy and flavorful. And let's talk about the pasta. You can really taste the difference when it's made fresh in-house. We had the pumpkin ravioli and braised oxtail agnolotti. Each bite of pasta is light, delicate, and perfectly complemented by rich, flavorful sauces. Our meal was complete with the La Tur cheesecake. It's creamy and paired with poached pear thats not too sweet.Divino is a refined yet approachable Italian dining experience. Its wood fire flavors, fresh pasta, and exceptional wines served in an atmosphere that feels both intimate and special. Whether you're looking for a destination for a cozy date night, special occasion celebration, or casual bite, this place is a must try. We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

Good service but mediocre food. Appetizers were flavorless. Pasta was nothing to write home about. Meat was not cooked to requested temperature. Not worth the price for the quality of food.
