Went here before the Wizards game to grab some drinks and food. The place was super busy but we were seated right away and had great service the entire time. We enjoyed the happy hour nachos and the happy hour burger (comes with fries). Both were only $10 each and were really yum! Definitely a great deal! They have plenty of drinks to choose from and it's just steps away from Cap One arena! They also have a ton of TVs so it would be a good spot to watch sports. I would definitely go back here pre-game/concert.

We ran into this sports bar/restaurant after parking in the garage for the Usher Show for a quick bite before the show started. It was packed as there was a Sprite pre show lounge with a live DJ for the crowd. The service was lackluster as we literally had to flag down several servers to even take our order. It didn't seem like the servers were assigned to a specific table. Once our order was placed by a nice young lady then we were good from there. The food served its purpose. The burger (not pictured) was really good. My drink was on point. I may return if back in the area

It's rare I give one-star reviews. A place has to be really bad for me to do so. And District Bites, adjacent to District-E, a gaming center in Gallery Place near Capital One Arena, was really bad.We went because we were looking to expand our pre-Capitals game dining options, and District Bites has a few vegan options. We ordered the mushroom "calamari," the smothered red pepper hummus, the E-Possible burger, and two drinks. The server was struggling with the order device and had us repeat our order. Our food did come reasonably fast, but getting mustard for the burger took repeated requests. The mushroom "calamari" was not in rings but nuggets, and I think there was more breading than mushrooms. It was hard to tell because the seasoning overwhelmed any flavor there might have been. The hummus was okay, but the accompanying pita chips were so salty, I couldn't taste anything else. The salt and seasoning were so excessive, we couldn't even finish the food. Maybe they oversalt everything so people will order more drinks, which are served in the sort of disposable plastic tumblers you buy for a picnic and not something you expect to see at a sit-down restaurant, even a casual gaming bar. They certainly weren't offering to refill our water cups. My boyfriend had to go to one of the bars and refill his cup himself. When it came time to pay, the device kept malfunctioning. I thought they were going to bring another device so I could pay, but they disappeared. Finally, I was able to get someone who took me to the bar and had me pay there. Given how incompetent the service was, I was disinclined to let them take my card. This is only my second time here, and I recall the food not being very good when we went a few years ago. But this was even worse, and I doubt the third time will be the charm.

We had some trouble finding the spot as it was tucked away in the shopping mall. The drinks and apps were pretty stellar by the bar, and the bartenders were super chill.A minor and picky note about the lighting, weird clubby vibes don't make for the best food photos (and conversation for that matter)

District Bites is located adjacent to District E, which is a gaming center.A friend and I stopped by for a later lunch, as she had run into some of the employees doing some marketing and saw some carry-out orders on their so-called famous crab cakes. We were seated promptly, and although we requested a booth, we were led to one of their high-tops; the chairs weren't the most comfortable, and the table itself was wobbly, which was a bit annoying having to deal with throughout our dining experience. We ordered:+the Esports Nachos Grande - these were described as flash-fried corn tortillas topped with queso poblano sauce, pico de gallo, shaved jalapenos, pickled red onions, pinto beans, and a cilantro lime creme; there was an option to add chicken ropa, which we didn't go for; the tortilla chips were good, along with the queso poblano sauce and the pinto beans; the toppings could have been more generous, such as the pinto beans and the lime creme; 'shaved jalapenos' were just thick jalapeno slices, but I felt that pickled versions would have been much better; didn't know there was going to be a huge mound of micro cilantro, so that was off-putting; the portions were easily shareable between 2 people+the Eastern Shore Crab Cake - served with remoulade, leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, and a brioche bun, with a side of shoestring fries; the crab cake was not that great - it had to many shells, meaning it was not picked well; it also had a slight 'fishy' odor and taste to it and served at room temperature, which was a little gross; it also seemed to contain more filler than I'm used to; the remoulade sauce, which is made in house, was okay, but didn't add much to the crab cake; the shoe strings were a bit 'limpy'+a Cider Brine & Applewood Smoked Turkey BLT - Nueske's slab bacon, green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, and a black pepper mayo between sourdough slices; my friend didn't really enjoy this, as she stated it was a letdown, considering the description of the sandwichService was friendly, but there could have been more check-ins, especially to share about the food as well as to get refills and the check. The place seemed to get a steady flow of fans who were in the area for a game, and the location was actually really nice, as you enter into an enclosed atrium at Gallery Place.Garage parking available.+wobbly tables+shell-filled, lukewarm crab cakes+limpy fries+friendly service+garage parking in the area

This place is located in Chinatown, inside the building that houses Regal theater & a side entrance to Capital One Arena (just passed Clyde's Restaurant). Chinatown metro is a block away. The pub serves sandwiches, fries and burgers. It was reworked after the previous restaurant closed. This is a perfect spot to visit before or after seeing a movie. (If you want a more upscale date, visit Clyde's)The space is also used for events. There is a dance floor, tables for board games and video games.

We come here before every capitals game and seems to be worse every time. The service is usually not the best but the enthusiastic wait staff usually makes up for it. We usually eat and have multiple drinks but on this occasion the manager forced us out of seats that were empty after his wait staff told us to sit there. Stood next to said seats for 30 minutes only to have him sit zero people in them or the other 3 tables next to them that he kicked people off from based on an excuse of people waiting. Terrible way to treat paying repeat customers. Fortunately there are plenty of other places very close.

Located inside gallery place. Food-I came during happy hour and the burger and fries was well seasoned and good portion size. Service- everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Alexis(bartender) for providing food/drink suggestions and taking great care of me. Vibes- it's a very pregame/concert space. Well lit. Lots of different seating-booths, tables, high tops, bar, and communal tables. Can definitely get crowded so be flexible.

As a bar that seems to be for hosting larger events, I was a bit disappointed that they couldn't seem to hold it all together. I came here for an event of about 250 people, and there were only about 5 servers working the place. Not a reflection of them, they were great and doing the best they could, but that meant service was super slow and everything, drinks and food were backed up. Our table got the nachos which had definitely been sitting out for a while. The chips were all soggy, the cheese was good but soupy?, and the chicken was very underwhelming and boring. My friend got a chicken sandwich and said she enjoyed it though. This bar I have been wanting to try but I want to give it another chance. The food menu does look pretty good (the rockfish sounds appetizing) so hoping my experience was a one off
