Dirty Water

This bar and its owners are AMAZING! The atmosphere there last night was unreal. They hosted a conservative watch party and it was wall to wall people. Such a mixture of men, women, White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, and Middle Eastern. They served people excellently when there wasn't room to move. 10 stars!!!!

Kenny is a great bartender! He gave us some insight on the bar and their upcoming events. There was a decent setup as well, with outside seating, a rooftop and indoor bar service. Around 9pm it starts to pick up with a crowd, and you'll see a range of people there. Definitely stopping by for one of their open bars.

Nice service and a good vibe for people who love Boston! Didn't appear to have a food menu. Only offered drinks.

If you like a dive bar then Dirty Water is the place for you. Multiply that by 100 if you're a Boston or Tulane or UGA fan. On game days Dirty Water is like a little party for you and your fellow fans. The drinks are cheap - not sure you can find a better deal in DC than the $25 for 8-beer mega bucket. They do not serve food so the move is to order delivery to the bar, which the staff is cool with. Speaking of the staff - they are great and very much contribute to the fun game day feel

best place ever, always lets me request any song I want, great music great vibes. make sure to bring a friend to the bathroom so they can guard the bathroom with no door on it

Not bad. Giving them a 4 because they treated me well, and had descent drinks. I came in right after game 2 of the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals ended, with a Heat shirt on!

Was visiting DC for the first time from Boston. Stopped in to catch the pats game. Horrible season, great bar. The bartender was engaged with the patrons and enthusiastic about multiple games and teams that were playing at the time. I would def recommend any Bostonian or not to check this place out for a game. Will be returning in the spring...Oh yea, they have game sound and stadium sound effects which makes all the difference.

Can I give zero stars? Came in from out of town and was hoping for a cool sports bar atmosphere. Walk in and all the men are at the bar, all the ladies are outside at the bar. The rest of the tables were 100% empty. Weird. Obviously a Boston Sports bar. Cool. Was told "hey" as we sat at a table by a guy with a wet rag hanging out of his back pocket. THAT WAS IT. Ten minutes of waiting at a table for service. Nothing. Walked up to the bar with a card in hand and said hi. NOTHING. So basically if you don't want to be served try it. Plenty of other places down the street. PEACE OUT!

This bar hosted my work friends for a promotion party. Absolutely phenomenal service and bar. I am going to make a point to come here more often to support Dirty Water!

I love this place. Always a go to! Best bartenders evaaaa!!! casual place not a Boston fan but so cute and always lively!
