I had a great dining experience! The service and food were superior. The manager even took a dish off the bill because it took too long to come from the kitchen. I didn't even have to say a word and that has never happened before. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and dine here again. It is a bit of a long walk from the theater area for people with mobility issues which is a shame but other than that, I really enjoyed it and hopefully next time I can spend more time and relax and enjoy the atmosphere.I was dining here pre-theater and I couldn't get a reservation at the Asian restaurant - where I actually wanted to dine. I was lucky to get one here and they really worked with me to make sure I got out of there in time to make my show at the in-house theater.

My husband and I decided to try this place out one night on our way to play cause we were starving and I loved how they have an outdoor area where you can relax and enjoy the weather. There's an outdoor bar available as well. The food was absolutely delicious and they have a nice selection of items to choose from. We went on a Tuesday night and they had a Taco Tuesday special which I highly recommend for anyone to try. The best was their fajita, the meat was so tender and the veggies grilled to perfection. My only complaint about this location is the wait time. We had to wait a while before our waiter came to our table, she was very sweet but I feel she was overwhelmed with the number of tables that she had. It seemed like everyone was very kind to her and understanding though which was nice to see. It would have been nice if they would have given her some help but we had some chips and Salsa to hold us over until our meals came out so it all worked out fine at the end.

To make a long story short: This is an expensive bar inside of a casino, but it's par for the course seeing as how your likely here to waste money in the first place. When I came here the place was pretty packed. There was a live DJ and a bunch of people dancing and having a good time. The drinks were nothing special, and the food was decent. I don't think this place will ever be "Cheers" but when in Rome...We had a fun night having it up down national harbor..

Fantastic spot to take a break from the gaming tables. The tacos are the bomb. I had the beef, chicken tacos. The servicebis great, and they manage the crowd with front door staff. The food was well presented and quite tasty. Of course I am biased because I am a frequent flyer. The night we arrived they had a DJ because some was celebrating their B Day. Open dance floor if you are so inclined. The crowd was lively but pleasant. Great drinks at a reasonable cost....come one come all and bring an appetite and vibe to the music.

We went on a Thursday. We didn't order any food. However the service was excellent. The waitress was attentive and made sure we had all we need before even asking. We were in the patio, a DJ was playing salsa music and we all enjoyed. There were other people dancing as well because they had a salsa class earlier. We had a blast we will be coming back.

So I was out with my husband at MGM and we decided that we wanted tacos so we went to Diablos. Now let me just say this is not our first time here this is one of our spots for tacos. I walk up to the hostees and I notice it is really dark in the restaurant music is blasting and the bar is empty. So I ask her what is going on and she say we are having a kicks and cocktail event. So I say ok cool I pay the $10 cover and sit at a booth. I am there about 10 min then I go back to the hostees and ask if someone os going to come and take orders or do we need to order from the bar. She said no I am going to get a waitress to come and take your order. So I say ok cool about 2 min later a waitress comes and take my order. I order the baja fish tacos (battered cod, cabbage slaw, spicy lime cream on a flour tortilla) and the birria tacos (short ribs, 3 cheese blend, pickled radish and cillantro on a flor tortilla) for a drink I order a Don Julio cadillac margarita. The baja fish tacos were really good the cod was fried and seasoned really well and cabbage slaw blended really well. I didn't taste the spicy lime cream which I don't like spicy food so I didn't miss it. The birria tacos were ok for me there was to much cheese and not enough meat. Overall it was a good experience however I have had better here. So, If you are ever at MGM and have a taste for tacos check this place out!

Our first time going to MGM for a show last night and decided, LUCKILY, to make reservations somewhat early to the only restaurant that seemed to have availability for the pre show time we wanted. I was little skeptical going in after reading reviews, but our intention was to have sit down dinner before the show and try it for ourselves. We were greeted by the hostess very nicely at the stand outside of the restaurant and appears they are very experienced at moving people through as it gets crazy busy when a show is in the theater. Luckily we were amongst the first through for dinner. The atmosphere is fun as catchy music plays at a comfortable level for talking as well as being able to hear the song. Decor is vibrant with wall murals both painted and floral designs and a traditional but modern Mexican feel. Dining room and bar area appear clean and well maintained. Staff is very attentive but I get the feeling on busy nights as this was, they are trained to move people through at a good pace without lag time. I'm sure it's an MGM standard. Our waiter was great. Shemar first appeared nervous but as time went on, he calmed, but he's the perfect speed for this type of evening where everyone was on high energy. We received chips and salsa and they were fresh, crisp and addicting. Just the right amount of salt without being greasy. Loved the Blue chips but only a few in the basket and I ended up devouring them first. Salsa was thick enough to stay on the chip and was enough spice for me ( I like a little heat, but not to ruin the tastebuds). Our waiter checked in on us often, filled my water glass and brought additional soda without asking and THAT'S a pet peeve of mine that if accomplished well, deserves a great tip. We also had visits by the 2 managers on duty to make sure we were happy and we were. We were left wondering what it's like to dine here on a quieter evening. We ate at a comfortable pace for us, cognoscenti of the busy evening, but if we wanted to linger longer, I think that would have been discreetly encouraged that our time was up.Food was excellent and I had 3 items I was debating and when I asked Shemar what he'd recommend, he said the chicken enchiladas, which I was not disappointed with. The plate was ample size and really didn't need a side dish, but not having dined here before and no one else's plates to look at I decided when asked to get a side and ordered the Platanos Maduros (Plantains). Very good but I had to take them home. My husband had the Tacos Trios and selected 2 varieties to try, the classic beef and the Chicken (Tinga) which he loved both. Each he said were different but delicious. He my mentioned that they were nice amount of protein as he usually worries when ordering tacos if they will be hardy portion especially when no sides are included. The chicken Taco had a lot of juice from the chicken, which was nice but be careful when eating not to drip on yourself. He also ordered the cilantro and butter rice which he enjoyed. Cilantro was enough there without being overpowering and nicely buttered. Prices on the sides were very reasonable!Overall a great experience and we definitely would return. They have a very nice outdoor patio which on warmer days would be really nice to sit outside and enjoy the nearby fountain sounds (not sure you'd see them). No service charges here nor difference in cash vs credit and prices for our meals for the amount of food received was a great value.

Came to MGM for a show on 3/23! I was able to get a last minute reservation. I was welcomed by the lovely hostess, Idalia, who was nice and accommodating. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful and there is a flower photo wall right outside to take pictures. The restaurant overlooks the harbor as well. The nachos and salsa for the table were delicious and they kept them coming. The menu is limited. Our waitress was attentive. I had the steak fajita which was cooked to perfection. The tacos were also very tasty. I would definitely come back even for a regular dinner. Expect to spend $20-$50 per person for food.

We drove an hour to have dinner at Diablos and checked in 20 minutes before our reservation. Then, we were made to wait 55 minutes to be seated. The area was in the rear and was 1/2 empty (the empty tables weren't cleared away, so perhaps the delay was because no employees showed up for work - we guessed that no employees wanted to chance being arrested by ICE or some such Trump police entity).I ordered shrimp nachos, and my daughter ordered quesadillas. The nachos came out with chicken, not shrimp, but since they took 40 minutes to prepare, I didn't send them back. My daughter's quesadillas took 50 minutes to arrive, and they were at least warm.We decided not to wait any longer and asked for the check. The two bright spots were that the waitress was kind and professional and that the service manager stopped by to ask how things were. When we asked for some more salsa, he personally brought it.The last straw was when the waitress brought the bill, and I noticed it already had the service charge. When I asked her why she added a gratuity, she stated that their policy was to add tips on nights when there was a show. (There was no show unless the DJ in the bar area was considered a show. If so, it didn't apply to the people in the restaurant.) The waitress removed the charge, but I suspect this is an MGM additional charge similar to the costly fees that are 'inadvertently' added in Las Vegas.I have eaten at MGM National Harbor before, and this instance was an exception to the rule that their service is always great. I'll come back, but not to Diablos. In the future, I will check the bill to ensure that additional fees aren't indiscriminately added.
