I love love this place. The most authentic Karachi food that you can possible get in whole dmv area is available at Desi Bethak. Their biryani, karahis, halwa puri and Nihari are to die for.I highly recommend this Pakistani restaurant to anyone looking for authentic food.

This restaurant is right off of I95 in an industrial park area, so going in the evening felt a little sketchy, especially since there weren't others there when I first arrived.The lady working the counter was friendly. Their menu isn't very big and the prices were somewhat reasonable for everything, except their Karahi, which were about $10 more than other places I've seen.I tried their samosa chaat and their chicken biryani and both were decent. I took home some chickpea curry too and it was decent. Their yogurt chutney wasn't very flavorful and was way too watered down/thin/runny.Overall, it was decent, but I doubt I'd return.

I just ate at this place last week for the first time. A relative of mine took me there as he spoke highly of it. If you ever has street food then this place is authentic. The owner has a place in Karachi on the street. There was absolutely no place to sit do we sat outside until a family left. If you come there on the weekend nights highly recommend you order prior to getting there. You will probably wait close to an hour for your food. This is not a negative on the business but it is should tell you how demanding this place it. Their briyani is on point! It is 100% Karachi/Hydrabadi authentic cuisine.

Love this place and the people!! I came here as a referral from my good friend from Pakistan. He knows that I love chicken biryani, so he sent me. The first time I stopped by I was impressed with the food and the service, but the second time I realized this place is a gem. The chicken biryani is hot and full of flavor. The nan bread is fresh and crispy. On the way I order a second CB to take home for lunch the following day. They realize they are at the bottom of the pot and some chicken is a little burnt. They do not want to sell it to me. I tell them I was fine, because it would better than my wife's cooking. However in their generosity, they decide to not charge for the "to go" plate. I thought this was great and appreciate the jester. I would absolutely come here over and over again. Good people and good food!!

It was closed and Yelp did not specify that . It turned out to be a waste of time driving there for no reason wastingTime and gas!!

It tasted fine. But the chicken was old and smelly. I don't think I will ever eat there again!

No customer service skills. Very arrogant behavior over all. Food is mediocre on a good day, and sometimes hairs are found within the food.restraint ambiance is not very nice either.
