I had not been to this restaurant in many years, since it was Abshaar. I recently stopped in for lunch on a weekday and noticed when I walked in that they offered a buffet. I actually prefer a buffet in a Pakistani joint, as it gives me the ability to try everything that they offer, as well as their cooking style. This restaurant was nice and clean, and the staff was helpful and attentive. I said I wanted the buffet and the server instantly ordered me a naan. On this date the buffet offered the typical items, such as chicken tikka, daal, chana, etc... but it also had beef keema and chicken karahi too. The dessert was gulab jaaman, and they had plenty of chutney and other sauces/pickles to enjoy.Overall, the food was nicely done and the price was just right. I'll definitely return!

Food was great for the buffet price! I recommend the goat curry. My friend had the Chana Masala and said it was really good. The server brought us water and roti fast. The inside was nice and cozy with the music playing and the art on the wall. Also got some sweets to go. We'll be back!

Grabbed buffet lunch with a buddy. Self serve, so convenient if you want to eat and run. Seating is cafeteria style. Had a lot of options for meats and vegetarians, along with naan made fresh to the table, which makes it 4 stars. Service charge of 15% is added to the bill. Still worth it.

The restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of Springfield. It was our first time visiting Des Pardes and we were there on a Sunday around 1:30 p.m. for their lunch buffet. There was plenty of available parking and the interior was nice, well-decorated, and clean. They had a wide variety of food to choose from and they were all very tasty, including generous servings of naan bread and desserts. Staff were very friendly and answered all of our questions.

They have an excellent lunch, or dinner, buffet. It's very inexpensive for what you get. It's a bit on the greasier side, but again, at the price point it's a steal. They also do takeout by the pound ($8.99/lb).

Food was absolutely AMAZINGGG! Best Traditional Pakistani food in the DMV. We ordered 6 dishes and all were amazing. My mother and father fell in love with the Chicken Karahi. Two reasons I put 4 stars. 1. The service was not good. We asked for soda and our server pointed us in the direction of the soda cooler, also we were short some plates and asked for more and he pointed to the buffet and said "grab as many as you need" (yet they added a service charge before I could tip them..)2. I don't personally care for rice. But don't advertise that it comes with the butter chicken and then not even bring it out. Like I said, i dont care for rice so its not that important for me.But food quality is so good they get 4 stars from me!

Tried the chefs special fish masala. It wasn't even a curry as stated when I ordered. It had no taste or flavor at all. Didn't enjoy it at all. I won't be ordering from this restaurant again and I recommend others not to as well. It was a waste of $30!!!!!

We went for lunch. Food was ok. Chicken biryani had small bones and rice was ok. Fish was hard like a rock and tandoori chicken was ok but there was water under chicken.Sweet dish, like sweet rice has no sugar (low sugar). Halwa was very soft like running puddings. Should be cook more. Talked with management about food. Don't mind paying good $$$ but food should be good. Hope they can work on to improve quality of food. Service was good..
