After discovering the De Clieu Coffee location off of U.S. 29 west of Fairfax City - I wanted to check out the original in Old Town Fairfax City.Because it's located on Main Street/Route 236 - there is no parking in front of the shop. There is parking out back - a very small covered one level parking garage - and another parking lot behind that. There is an entrance into the building complex through the back of the building. Towards the left side of the back of the building - head up a short stairway and you'll find the door.There is quite a bit of seating inside - but it was all taken. I'm guessing that due to the proximity to George Mason University - that most of the folks seated were GMU students.I ordered a quad-shot Winter Blackberry Latte - but less sweet than the normal way they make the drink - and a Blueberry Scone warmed up - to go.The Winter Blackberry Latte was really good - and the Blueberry Scone hit the spot - I could've used more blueberries in it - but the texture and flavor was good.Paid with Apple Pay. Not sure what took me so long to try this neighborhood gem. My friend and I popped in on a Monday morning and it was full of remote workers, students and regulars getting coffee. We both got vanilla lattes and they were smooth and delicious. We didn't sample any food but I plan to go back!

Cute little coffee/sandwich shop. I've visited for lunch a few times, ordered ahead for pick up twice and went into the store and ordered twice. It's cute, the sandwich is good but the wait time is too long in the line and it was only three people ahead of me and the wait time was 20 minutes after ordering. The staff was nice but listen EVERYONE needs a hair net. Would I visit again - YES Order - chicken salad in croissant

Got a matcha latte here after hearing about how popular this cafe is. They definitely didn't disappoint, the service was spectacular and even though it was really busy on a Saturday afternoon, my drink was made really quickly. The latte was tasty and loved how they did the latte art. Definitely going to come back next time and try their sandwiches and other drinks on their menu!

Busy for a wintry Saturday! Understandably so since the sandwiches were delicious, the coffee fantastic, and overall a great place to do some work and hang out with friends. Service was great and efficient despite the amount of people there. Saw the Jack of All Trades was the top sandwich and I was not disappointed with the amount of flavor and how filljng it was. The DeClieu Caprese sandwich was also a winner for something more light. Will def be coming back.

Such a cute little shop with so many options! You can tell it's very popular because it was so crowded but the line moves quick and you get your food fast. My friend and I got two huge breakfast sandwiches! They are big enough to share or save the other half for later. I got the Irishman breakfast sandwich and it had a little too much mustard on it for me but it was still tasty. I would come back and try something else like a smoothie or muffin.

This place is so so cute!! I came here with a friend while visiting town and we ended up getting it twice during my stay. Inside is pretty spacious, there are lots of places to sit and spread out to WFH or finish school work. If I lived in the area I would definitely come here a lot.I ordered the Okinawa Haze and the Crazy Irishman Breakfast Sandwich. The Okinawa Haze was really good - I love sweet and fun coffee drinks and I really enjoyed the (homemade!) Ube syrup that they added to it. The Irishman sandwich was also really good and I thought the hashbrowns were a nice touch.The service was great! The girl taking our order was very knowledgeable of the menu and friendly. I will say parking was a bit of a challenge, but still worth trying to figure it out to try this place.

Nice little place for grabbing breakfast or a simple brunch, good coffee and delicious sandwiches! Staff are very friendly, store interior design was pretty simple but functional.

De Clieu is a lovely coffee shop in Northern Virginia. It can get quite busy throughout the day, but there are a good number of seats. They have a variety of different types of drinks, along with pastries and delicious breakfast sandwiches. One speciality drink I enjoy is the matcha blossom, which is a Matcha tea latte with their housemade organic rose syrup. They have a variety of seasonal drinks they also rotate through. Service is great here. It is located in Old Town Fairfax so parking is usually a block or two away, depending on where you find parking. I have never had any problems finding parking, as there are a number of parking areas to park at. Would highly recommend if you're in old town Fairfax!

We went to this café on a Saturday around noon and it was quite crowded, but we were able to wait for seating. It is more of a casual spot with great breakfast bagel options and lattes. It seemed to be quite busy so I would maybe go on a weekday or a less crowded time in the future. Overall, we were pleased with a coffee and quick service.
