I've been craving tteokbokki SO badly recently and I was out with some very indecisive friends, so we settled on going to the HMart food court. We got a large dduk mac & cheese toppoki and split it between three people, as well as a popcorn chicken in galbi sauce. The bacon and shrimp were a nice touch, although I wish they had more cabbage! The dish is actually not spicy (contrary to what the order suggests).I wish they didn't put the pot on the metal tray because the food cooled down way faster and the tteokbokki got cold, but it is what it is. Maybe next time we'll just stick it onto the table directly to prevent this issue.Tables can be hard to immediately grab but people move fast so if you wait a little bit eventually a table will clear up. It takes a little time for the food to be ready.

Got a large Beef Brisket Topokki - perfect for 2 people and it was delicious (& a bit spicy!) we thoroughly enjoyed sharing this large pan of beef, ramen, tteokbokki, shredded scallions, fish cakes, egg & dumplings. The flavor has a nice kick and I definitely needed more water but I wouldn't change the spice level. I also got a Kimchi Triangle rice ball but was too full to eat it! I dream of this now and can't wait to come back to try some of the other flavors. We luckily came on a Saturday around 2pm so it wasn't busy or crowded in the food hall at Hmart so seating was easy to get. We also got a cup of the Mango Ade which was refreshing. They do make your order fresh so we waited maybe 7-10 minutes (which wasn't long, but if you're in a rush and have some frozen Melona popsicles in your shopping cart from Hmart, this may not be the place for you.)

Came here around 11 on a Sunday with friends. Tried the tonkatsu (pork), ddukbbokki tteokbokki or toppoki, as these people call it, and the mango drink. I loved the sweet mango drink. I also really liked all the food I tried. Super good. Great food court for a quick bite before or after groceries!

Ate here after we were done shopping at Hmart and given the food court right inside, it was super easy to eat here. Got a large toppoki from dduk and it didn't disappoint. Good flavor, good mix of ingredients, and good portion. We were able to share easily amongst 2.

T1 & T3 must try! The proportions are big, I do suggest getting only one entree per person and then do family style.

Found this place in the H-Mart dining area after work. So glad I did! The cheesy tonkatsu is very filling. My only gripes are that the orders take a while, and though it's not the restaurant's fault, the sort of "food court" feel isn't the best ambiance. That being said, I will be coming back as the food itself was very solid!

came with my few friends to eat at the hmart food court and we have no regrets!! we were to spend a day in DC but decided to eat local first.we ordered the Mala Tteokbokki with suspicions because mala is a very strong sichuan spice flavor. it was ~$22.00 total for the medium size. the mala tteokbokki came with 2 fried noodle dumplings, shredded green onions, grilled brisket, one egg, glass noodles, long rice cakes (that you can cut up with given scissors), fish cake, carrot, onion, and cabbage. this blew our mind since it was really not spicy at all!! there was definitely the infamous mala aftertaste but it made my mouth water for more HAHA. towards the end of the meal, the spice DID build up but not too much. it also depends on your spice tolerance and the three of us eat spicy food well.everything was cooked pretty well but the glass noodles were so-so. i cook these at home too when i'm craving homemade tteokbokki or ramen or home made hot pot, so i make them softer and chewier. the glass noodles were a bit harder to chew, but not too bad!! still very much enjoyed the meal :)) this is definitely my favorite now. i've tried the original, the black bean version, the rose, but mala beats them all. i recommend also ordering a side of fried assortments to dip and enjoy more or order [cheesy korean corn dog right across from this stand :)) service was very helpful and quick. the man that took our order was kind and patient and happens to also help run the korean corn dog spot too !

While in the Faifax area, it was kinda hard to skip H Mart:-))) A well stocked shelves of goodies from Korea, Japan, China, India, Middle East, South America, and more. Not to mention, the variety of food vendors at the food court.Unfortunately, Young Dabang was a disapointment for me. Ordered a Ramen with pork belly but the ramen noodles were from an instant ramen type... When some of the ramen noodles are served crunchy, then its gotta be an instant Ramen. The pork belly was fine, still crispy and had a distinct taste that could be sold separately with steamed rice and miso soup:-))))Service was slow and they do take their time. As for ambiance, its part of rhe H-Mart food court. Crowded and need to hawk for a table:-)))Again, Ramen... not there!!
