I was so excited to dig in that I completely forgot to snap any pictures before devouring it (and I promise, that's saying something!). We indulged in a feast of smoked wings, brisket, and ribs, accompanied by creamy mac and cheese, flavorful smoked collard greens, and rich baked beans. Each bite was a celebration of well-seasoned, tender goodness that left us craving more. We couldn't resist ordering some sweet tea to our spread. Everything was simply divine!

We have only ordered this place from uber eats. Their smoked wings are just delicious with this sweat and spicy rub that comes on them. We have tried almost all of their sides and they lowkey suck. Mac and cheese was watery and flavorless. Chili tasted fatty and greasy. Hush puppies were bland. Brussel sprouts tasted like they soaked them for days in rice vinegar. Fries are boring and soggy. The only side that has been decent is their onion fries. So I'd recommend steering clear of the sides unless you want to be disappointed. But their wings are yummy

Been ordering delivery for a while or doing dine-in and the quality has changed recently. Which is disappointing especially given the cost for delivery. Rib tips and brisket were tough, dry and overcooked. The Smokey and spice rub flavor was there but the meat needed bbq sauce b/c it was so dry. and I think good bbq should be able to stand on its own sauce or not. Maybe the cuts of meat aren't as great as they use to be as well. Collard greens were sweet rather than spicy, mushy and inedible. Hush puppies had no flavor in the breading. Baked beans & pickles still good! Right balance of spice and sweet.

I've ordered here twice, both times I got the smoked wings. They are so good and filling. I've ordered the dozen size with a side of fries and can't manage to eat it all in one sitting. The cilantro ranch is a nice touch, but the sweet bbq sauce takes the cake. I've only had it delivered via uber eats, and the food always arrived fresh and warm.

This place is really a DC go to for BBQ, and we are lucky to have them. A bit pricey maybe but well worth it.

I had the smoked wings, very good smoked flavor and also had a dry rub with a little spice to it. Very good

We recently ordered the BBQ sampler platter from DCity Smokehouse, and it exceeded expectations. The brisket was tender and full of deep, smoky flavor, but the rib tips were truly the standout--juicy, rich, and perfectly seasoned. The sides complemented the meal nicely: the coleslaw was crisp and refreshing, providing a light contrast to the richness of the meats, while the mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent without being overly heavy.What impressed us most was the attention to detail in packaging; everything arrived hot and well-packed, which can be a rarity with delivery. Overall, DCity Smokehouse offers a fantastic BBQ experience, even from the comfort of your own home.

Flavorful, well-seasoned meats which are, for the most part, well-cooked and tender with just the right amount of fattiness. While some items are overcooked, that may be attributable to the volume of cooking barbecue items; if we are being entirely fair. Sometimes you'll get a good cook/cut, sometimes you won't; it's the lay of the land. I will note, however, that I was not enthused by the sides (namely the macaroni which did not do anything particularly exceptional nor different).The location and parking availability leaves a lot to be desired. That aside, the price, value, and quantity are all pretty good. Overall, I recommend trying this place at least once.

Although it came kinda cold because Uber eats took forever, it was still very good!! I can still taste the rich quality of the meat. The fries were still delicious! I can only imagine how bomb it'll be if I were to try it at the actual location and warm/hot! I highly recommend this place. They also have many different sandwich options, I was overwhelmed and couldn't decide, given it was my first time! I went with the smokehouse melt sandwich and loved it! I can't wait to try the other sandwich

Literally always good. Food - proper amounts of spice where there should be spice, and consistently!! I've been more than a few times and the food still tastes as good as when the restaurant opened. Never surprised that HBCU alum are in the ownership mix because it always feels just a lil like homecoming each time I visit. For the uninitiated this means the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is lively (but grown). I've yet to meet a stranger at the bar in front of, or behind it. One issue... I usually eat my food before I get pictures. Maybe next time lol
