Crab Cab

Came on a Saturday for brunch, made a reservation online but it wasn't needed because we were the only ones there at 12:30pm. The service was great, she continually checked in with us during the time we were there even though we spent the first 20 mins talking. I tried the seafood egg rolls, catfish brunch plate, and my friend had the salmon salad. The egg rolls were more cabbage than seafood but the catfish was amazing! It's hard to find good catfish in the DMV area, I'm from Oklahoma. I wonder why this place doesn't get more business because the food is great, location is right off a main road and the reviews are good. Hope it turns around for the better!

Found this place tonight on yelp to try as I just moved to the area. Place is small but mighty. Very clean very welcoming. I got the crab Cesar and the mashed potatoes.My dad got the shrimp poboy and hush puppies. Hush puppies were shareable and great. Can see into the kitchen & it seems clean. I'll be back!

Where We Bout To Eat At@crabcab Alexandria, VAI might tell you a joke but I'll never tell you a lie! This food was AMAZING!!! The drinks did what needed to be done and our server, Terry, was everything! She definitely passed the vibe check!It is small so there may be a wait, but trust me, it's worth it!Go check out @crabcab and don't forget to tell them, DANI SENT YA!!!

Saturday was the first time I have visited this restaurant. The ambiance was very quaint and intimate. The building was a lot smaller than I imagined however, it was decorated nicely. The service was very good in the beginning. The waitress towards the end seemed to be very forgetful. Possibly because the restaurant had an influx of customers. The food was good. The appetizer we chose was the spinach dip with shrimp and crab meat with chips. The dip could have used a little more seasoning not overall it was good. Next I ordered the grilled lamb chops Oscar style (crab meat and shrimp on top). The portion of the lamb chops was a little small. However, the lamb chops were cooked perfectly. The Oscar dressing was heavily salted which I did not enjoy. The macaroni and cheese were delicious. It was very flavorful along with the broccolini. My friend ordered the ribeye with asparagus and mashed potatoes. She enjoyed the ribeye but mentioned that she thought the Oscar was salty as well. Overall, we had a good experience. I would recommend if you are in the Alexandria, Virginia area.

Do you know how difficult it is to find oysters that are charged and flavored???Initially looking for a snack, we came here and I was surprised to see it on the menu so we got the chargrilled oysters and the egg rolls. The egg rolls were okay; I am not a fan of anything mayo/aioli so the sauce that came with them didn't do it for me. The oysters were good but then not great. The initial taste was fantastic, but there was a strong aftertaste that was not good. After adding the hot sauce, that cut the aftertaste which made them much more enjoyable...but that aftertaste shouldn't be there. The wait staff was great and the menu had some other interesting items so I'll go back to try something else.

The food is good but price is too high for what you get. The so called colossal Shrimp are not even extra large. Drinks price is insane. I one shot of casa amigo is $21.00 and as far as the bartender go's , it may as well been a robot.Very small place and you have to twist you neck to see the TV screen. I don't recommend this business and I will never return

I finally was able to visit the restaurant of the crab cab and it was so cute. It's a decent size, and right in the cut behind wing stop on Richmond highway in Alexandria. The food came out fairly quickly and our waitress was so nice. I'm glad i was finally able to visit the restaurant after going to the food truck so many times. I will be back!

My friends and I came here for lunch before heading to Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour and we left very impressed. The 'Dominator' combo was A1. The shrimp salad, crab fries, and crabcake sandwich were fye! Do be aware that they serve a different connotation of shrimp salad than you might be expecting. The shrimp salad they serve here isn't cold shrimp with mayonnaise and celery (etc.), but rather fried shrimp on top of lettuce. Regardless, as I said, their food is fye. Especially when washed down one of their delicious guava Arnold Palmers. Baby the food was so good I had to order a second entrée to take home (Their Shrimp Po Boy). I was really impressed with their service. They go above and beyond here. I have a friend with a fish allergy so they couldn't have anything that was fried in the same grease as fish, and the chef personally came out to talk to my friend and custom-made his 'Dominator' with a broiled crabcake and loaded crabby mashed potatoes to make sure there was no cross-contamination of fish. We greatly appreciated that. All in all, Crab Cab is must must-try seafood spot in NOVA with bomb food and amazing service.

The food abs service was amazing. Vibe and serves are excellent. I feel like cheers.

I recently dined at Crab Cab and I can't recommend this restaurant enough! The atmosphere was welcoming and the menu has something for everyone. The shrimp quesadillas were delicious. Krisstel was an excellent server and she made our experience even better. definitely check out Crab Cab
