Crab Boat Restaurant

Wishing I would have taken some foodie pictures. This is one of the best seafood Boils I've had. I ordered the Combo 3--crab legs, lobster, shrimp, potato, and corn--which was enough food for two. I had some leftovers, which I shared with my dinner dates. My dinner dates ordered the combo one and shared. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and seasoned. The lobster tail was a tad overcooked, but that is the risk with lobster tails. The crab leg meat was chunky and dunk-able in the boil sauce. The restaurant has ample parking and seating, is wheelchair-friendly, and is clean. On Friday night, the staff was top-notch and treated our table like we were regulars.

The Big Spoon always has a new place for us to watch football, we are football junkies, sigh! The Crab Boat Restaurant is located in the boondocks for sure but what a hidden gem! Service was Great! From the two front desk girls to the amazing bartender, we had a wonderful time!The bartender was a football fan so that always makes for great conversation. Ambiance is causal, you are fine to come in regular smegular, sweats, jeans, leave your dresses hung up. Let's get Into It! Drinks- Delicious! Perfect Pours! Appetizer: Steamed Oysters - Exceeded my expectations! That secret sauce was excellent! YUMMERS! Crab Balls: Yummy - Met expectations could have added a little more crab and not so much filing but GOOD! (I'm just a greedy crab lover.) Shrimp Basket - Yes. Juicy and Big Shrimp! Crab Legs - Very Good! Overall, I'm sold, I'd come back! It's close to the boondock house and not too far of a drive. Enough good food and fun to say, "can't wait to come back". Nessa Approved!

This restaurant is located in southern Maryland and off of 228. I had come here because a friend of mine was in town but also to celebrate some August birthdays. I think there was probably about 14 of us and we had a long table. Overall the waitress was so kind and accommodating and we had exceptional service. I decided to get that headless shrimp which came with some corn and I think sausage. I love the flavors and of course the seafood was amazing. Surprisingly, they have really good chicken wings. One of my friends who I sat next to got some chicken wings and french fries. They were so nice and crispy and even their fries were double fried and delicious. If you're ever in the area and you need a good place to have a seafood boil, this is the place for you. Also, because they had happy hour going on dueing the week. My friends were excited to take advantage and order some drinks that were very reasonable. The prices here are really good. I have yet to make my way back here but I don't mind coming to the restaurant as they have plenty of parking, great waitresses and the food is pretty good and flavorful.

The server was quick and friendly, the restaurant was plain not much to it, the tables were small. The seafood was hot and good i just wish the seasonings blended into the spiciness better. It seemed like they streamed the seafood and dumped it into the seasonings bag without shaking it or blending it.

I'm not sure what the name of this restaurant was when I visited years ago, but the concept has changed. Before, it was a traditional seafood restaurant, now it's an uber popular seafood bowl restaurant that's becoming the McDonald's of seafood joints.. One on every corner..LOL!Looking for a place to watch the Commanders whip up on the Eagles this past Sunday, we chose Crab Boat because they have a plethora of TV's in the bar area. We ordered a little bit of everything.. Crab bites, steamed oysters, jumbo fried shrimp and crab legs. Everything was very good but I don't mind getting messy at seafood bowl restaurants and neither does she..LOL. Our bartender/server was super cool, super friendly with a great personality and she made our drinks to perfection (strong and tasty)! Crab Boat is off the beaten path, in a random area off of Berry Road. It's pretty large but definitely no frills. PLEASE keep it casual or you'll look very much out of place!I'm glad I rediscovered Crab Boat because everything was very good and it's close enough to the new crib to visit more that once every 10yrs..LOL!!

My family and I came to this spot on a whim and off of the advice of TikTok. The menu was implemented and easy to read, nothing crazy about which was great! I ordered the Wednesday special as did my wife, both of white was $39.99. It came with 1 Cluster Snow Crab, 1 LB Shrimp (Head Off), 1 LB Smoked Sausage, 2 Corn, 2 Potatoes. She added the mussels and eggs not knowing that her bag was going to come to table in a big portion already. When I t came out, I could tell my wife's special definitely had more goodness in it than mine. This place damn sure will let you know that you've spent your money's worth and then some. Our waitress was a delight and very cordial with us, given that we had our kids with us and my daughter spilled her drink. I will say that when you order your food, if they ask you for the flavors/sauces, do not go past 2. The reason I say that is because when you go over two sauces, the flavor seems to combine ok but not well enough. So just shoot for no more than two flavors. Don't make the same mistake I did when I bit in to my shrimp, the shell is still on.....don't judge me, don't you dare! I was hungry and the food looked amazing! My wife ordered two cocktails and they were also pretty damn good. heads up, make sure than you get your order heard correctly. Not getting on anyone at all about the order, but it can be messed up because the crowd was getting a little bit louder, so it wasn't a big deal anyways, just a heads up. The kids food was great, I never seen my 5 year old devour a cheeseburger that fast! Then my other son demolished his shrimp and fries. Then my wife started giving him some of her crab meat, then I also gave him some of my shrimp.The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and exciting at the same time. There is enough space inside the restaurant for everyone, from couples to big groups of people. Everything inside seem to very casual inside and also fun. Everyone was having a great time inside, people were enjoying their seafood. there wasn't a sour look on anyone's faces because they were either stuffing their faces or talking about how good the food was. This place is one of the best kept secrets of Waldorf, you gave to visit this place if you really want a good taste of Maryland seafood! I wish I took photos, but you can find out for yourself, just go in!

I am a regular at crab boat. I did a wrap around to finally try the fish and cheese sub. Sensational is the best way for me to describe it.#EatGoodAndBeHappy

They have the best crab boils in the Waldorf area! We also tried the wings and hush puppies, both of which were delicious. It did take a while for the server to come to our table, but I imagine it was because we were seated next to a large party. Next time, we'll make sure to be seated in the main dining room instead of the side room. We will definitely be back!

Solid spot. We've only gotten takeout but finally sat inside to eat. Inside was pretty minimal, very casual spot. Lots of parking, quick service.Normally would get the seafood boil but wasn't feeling it that day-- the shrimp pasta was very garlicky but tasty. The sauce in the boils are pretty good and the seafood tastes good too. Service was great - we wanted to take the leftover rice home and they gave us fresh rice too.

Great fried seafood! We tried this spot for the first time and I was very impressed with the food. I had the shrimp platter and I really enjoyed my shrimp. I also tried their hush puppies and coleslaw... keep in mind I'm from NC so hush puppies are a big deal to me lol. I thought theirs were spot on (albeit a little small). The service was decent. Our waiter was nice... he just seemed stressed lol. A great spot for those who want to eat and watch sports as we were surrounded by TVs with various games playing.I have two issues with this spot though: 1) they need more vegetables and/or side dish options. If you want veggies, you can basically have broccoli or coleslaw. I was surprised that they did not have yams as an option for a side dish. 2) as my son has a severe gluten allergy, there were no options for him. Thankfully I brought food for him. However, it would have been nice to know what items (if any) were gluten free. I felt badly that he could not try anything
