Great spot to rest and recharge with a bite and a drink. Sandwiches and wraps are premade (for fast service) but are fresh. They even had a warm red mulled wine on the menu that was quite tasty of good for warming up on a cold day.Prices are a bit high, but you are paying for convenience. The other annoyance, which is not the fault of the Cafe, is all the you people taking up the tables with laptops or reading books who were not cafe customers (or bought a coffee and commandeered a table for an hour). Saw numerous elderly people walking around looking for a place to sit and eat their snacks and not a single person sitting by themselves at a table for 4 (and oblivious to the world around them) offered a seat to one of the 70+ year olds.

Ridiculous overpriced, tasteless empanadas. Really disappointed the your business turn street food into luxurious snacks because of location.

Awesome - the tiramisu was exceptional, European quality. And our coffee was more than acceptable. Nice to sit in the courtyard and savor our midday snack.

This is really kind of a magic spot. It's a four-story enclosed courtyard with ground fountains and incredibly verdant foliage. It's such a peaceful oasis (everyone spoke in very hushed tones to try to continue to keep it that way), but the light trickle of the fountain providing a very Zen accompaniment. They cool glass paneled cieling is legit, too. Also legit is taking a break from taking in all the art displays, and treating yourself to a glass of wine from their serve yourself automated station. You pay for your class at the counter, and go over to the wine station and press the button once for a 5-ounce four of the wine of your choice (they even have a red light for the reds and a white lighy for the whites). It would be nice if they had a little more in the way of cheese boards and charcuterie, but they do have some pre-packaged sandwiches and cheeses, plus some pastries. A most welcome addition to the galleries!

I love the courtyard area. The cafe has grab and go items that include salads, drinks and chips. You'll pay museum prices but it is a nice way to recharge if you don't want to leave the museum. The courtyard is a great place to chill and rest.
