Located in Shirlington, I never have too many issues finding parking, there's plenty of street parking and garages around. We made a reservation and they service was great. We did have a small issue after we ordered the Arancini where it didn't come up till after our entrees because I think it was forgotten but they ended up taking it off our check and apologizing.I ordered the Lambrusco Flight which wasn't bad but I didn't really enjoy the Rosso. All drinks came out fairly quickly. My friend ordered the Corso Sour which was delicious. For our entrees, I ordered the Campanelle Alla Romana and my friend ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs with extra sauce on the side. They came by with extra fresh parmesan. Everything was delicious and I definitely would like to come back to try additional items. I did also order the French Fries with garlic, parmesan and Italian herbs. The fries were crispy but wish there was a little more flavor or tossed in more of the garlic. For dessert I opted for the Hazelnut Chocolate Cheesecake which was great and would have paired well with some coffee. It was quite sweet but still tasted great. Overall great service and good food.

Came here for the AYCE brunch for $29 per person with friends. Most of the plates are pretty small, so not really meant for sharing, and they allow up to 2 dishes per person to order at a time. The food was all good but nothing outstanding or special. I enjoyed the egg in purgatory and the rigatoni bolognese. Service was good and attentive. It's a cute restaurant in Shirlington to meet up with friends, but I wouldn't come back for the food alone.

Brought my niece here to celebrate her this weekend. I missed the big 13th birthday celebration plus she brought her grades up so tonight was her night! Guapos was her first choice, but she changed her mind when we were quoted 45 minute wait time. Corso is located literally right next door and they were able to seat us right away...right on time. The wait staff and manager that was on duty tonight were very accommodating and attentive. When they he noticed we were celebrating something special they moved us to a more fancy celebratory space which was a very nice touch!I didn't get our waitresses name however she was very attentive and I loved her energy. Everything she recommended was delicious. The shrimp appetizer, mussels/clams, salads, lobster ravioli, truffle fries- everything was delicious! Fresh and full of flavor. With plenty of parking, Corso is the perfect date night, GNO kind of spot! I'm looking forward to bringing my hunnieHappy Yelping!

Corso is a cute gem in Shirlington that was good, but not amazing. We came to Corso for weekend brunch, which is $29 for all you can eat small plates. You can have up to two plates per person on the table at a time, and there's a good mix of classic brunch dishes (like berries, pancakes, and eggs benedict), Italian mains (a few different pastas and meatballs), and side dishes (olives with cheese, carrots with ricotta). I think it's helpful to be aware that most of the plates are absolutely tiny here. We honestly laughed when we got the pastas, because they were literally on plates the size of teacup saucers- there were not more than two or three mouthfuls on most of the dishes. The same was true with the berry bowl, it was literally two strawberries and four blueberries. It's strange because some of the dishes are a little more full-sized, like the little gem salad, but most of the portions are extremely small. It's nice because you get to try a lot of different things, and I understand that for an AYCE option it typically is not full-sized portions, but it also seems a little silly for something like pasta (pesto spaghetti is not a costly item) to give such a teeny portion. You definitely cannot share most of the plates. Overall, the food was good but not outstanding. There were a few things we really enjoyed. The Corso honey toast was our favorite- it was focaccia topped with ricotta, honey, and pistachios, super delicious and really unique. We also really enjoyed the pesto spaghetti dish. They also had one of the best espresso martinis I've had- it was a little less traditional because it had Kahlua and Bailey's as well, but it almost tasted like a milkshake, it was so delicious! Some of the other dishes fell flat- the eggs Benedict was just okay, and the meatballs really needed salt. I was a little surprised that with the brunch deal, there was not also an accompanying beverage deal- you had to order each drink separately and they weren't specially priced. I believe mimosas and Bellinis were $9 and the espresso martini was $14. Our server was excellent and very attentive, but the team was a little all over the place- some of our plates got lost in the mix and had to be re-ordered, and we saw a few of our specific orders get brought to multiple other tables (not ours) and then back to the kitchen. There was one specific runner who seemed really out of it, so I don't know if this was a more universal problem or just an issue with that person. I think the advantage with a place like Corso is there is something for everyone, and I would absolutely come back for HH or to try one of their other meals- brunch just was not a wow for us. But I'd come back for the espresso martini any day!

This small business is an absolutely gem. The service and food were impeccable. JR the manager was excellent and just made you feel like family. My friend and I experienced the baby gem salad, Caesar salad, scallop risotto, and lobster ravioli. In addition, we had several martinis. They have $5 on Tuesday's which is a steal. This is definitely a place that I will constantly patronize.

I was looking at the brunch menu after a haircut in the area and one of the employees came out to let me know about the happy hour and 5$ Martini Tuesday and even gave me a menu to take so I came by around 6:30 that day. The employee I had met was the bartender and had shown me a seat at the bar where they do HH. The french 75 was delicious and probably going to be something I order more often, the corsopolitan was sweet but not overbearing and I finished off with an espresso martini which was strong for sure but I loved getting to try the martini menu. They also have HH food, I got some Parmesan fries which were a nice snack. It's a very cute and clean establishment, a lot bigger than I expected when I walked by so definitely will be coming back either for brunch or the pastas!

Smaller Italian restaurant in the heart of Shirlington. We went on a weekend and there was ample parking in the covered garages. This was helpful as it was sleeting outside and the garage was just around the corner. Made reservations for lunch. They have a la carte or a prix fixe menu which are both the same options. If you're planning on eating a lot go for the $30 prix fixe. The portions are smaller but they keep coming for 2 hours! Pasta was cooked to perfection and not overly sauced. Buratta with tomato was light and a nice complement to the heavier pasta. The dishes were smaller in size but we didn't feel overstuffed when we left which was great. They offer a flight of Lambrusco which is a rare treat. If you're interested in trying unique slightly sparkling wine I'd recommend trying it. Service was attentive which made the experience even better.

This is such a cute Italian spot in the heart of Shirlington. This is great for a date night or girls night out with friends. The interior is really beautiful and fancy, but not too snotty if that makes sense. You can definitely stop in here for a quick bite to eat or enjoy a long date night. The service is always incredibly friendly and quick. My favorite thing on their menu is there, Bolognese But tonight I was feeling basic and got the spaghetti with meatballs. Such a beautiful spot that I think should be more busy. Parking can be free across the street, but there's also a paid street parking
