Went here for drinks at the bar. Nice atmosphere and the menu looked good. Bartender was attentive and drinks were reasonably priced. Will come back again to actually try the food.

**Yelp Review for Copperwood Tavern**I recently had an absolutely fantastic lunch at Copperwood Tavern, and I can't recommend it enough! I ordered the short rib grilled cheese, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of heavenly. The rich, savory flavor of the short rib melted perfectly into the gooey cheese, all sandwiched between perfectly toasted bread--pure bliss!I opted for the Brussels sprouts instead of the usual fries or salad, and it was worth every penny of the upcharge. They were roasted to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning, adding a deliciously crunchy texture to my meal. The service was spot on--attentive without being intrusive--and the atmosphere is inviting and cozy, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy your meal. Even though I live an hour away, this place has become my go-to for meeting friends in the area. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience, definitely check out Copperwood Tavern! Highly recommend!

Stumbled upon Copperwood Tavern through Bring Fido, and it was a delightful find for my dad and me during our visit to Arlington with our pups. The dog-friendly patio, equipped with hooks for securing your dog's leash, made it a perfect spot for pet lovers like us.Upon arrival, we were treated to complimentary seasoned popcorn, which was both tasty and a lovely touch. I opted for a mimosa, while my dad explored their extensive draft list with a stout. The drink selection certainly caters to diverse tastes. We decided to split the Tavern burger, and it didn't disappoint. Cooked to a perfect medium, it was one of those rare occasions where my burger was done just right! The juicy and flavorful burger was complemented by well-seasoned, crispy fries.Though the day was windy, resulting in my mimosa taking an unfortunate spill, the staff's response was impeccable. Their friendly demeanor and assistance in cleaning up and replacing my drink highlighted their excellent customer service.

Solid brunch spot with something for everyone. Definitely busy on a Sunday morning/afternoon so there was a wait to sit and then a wait for our food but since we were there to catch up it was all good. I ordered the fried green tomato eggs benedict and pretty much inhaled it. Pretty standard hollandaise and poached eggs, but the fried green tomatoes were really good! I was going to sub the breakfast potatoes and forgot, but turned out to be pretty good too.

We walked in without a reservation for a table of 6 and easily got a table on a Saturday morning. A friend was visiting from Atlanta and suggested this spot. The restaurant has really cute decorations and I really like the modern rustic feel to it. We were treated to delicious popcorn as appetizers while waiting for other guests to arrive. The portion size for the mains was huge especially the chicken and waffles dish - carb heavy and left us too full for dinner afterwards. The grits were tasty and I had a good time there.

I stopped by Copperwood Tavern in Shirlington for a quick bite and drink, and I was really impressed with the ambiance. It's cozy yet lively, perfect for a casual evening out. I decided to try the venison meatballs, and while the flavor was solid, they came out cold the first time. Thankfully, the staff quickly corrected the issue, which I really appreciated. The meatballs themselves had good flavor but could've used a bit more gravy and a touch of pepper to elevate them. What really excites me about Copperwood Tavern is their farm-to-table focus. I love that they source locally, and I'm eager to come back and try more of their seasonal dishes. The service was friendly and attentive, making for an overall enjoyable experience. Looking forward to exploring more of their menu on my next visit!

I sat at the bar and had a "tapas meal...6 grilled oysters, baked Brie, short ribs and their Copperwood Cabernet Sauvignon. Stacey S. was efficient and friendly and all of the starters were nicely plated and very tasty. It was cold outside and the interior was warm and inviting.

We wandered around Shirlington during a holiday and there were so many choices nearby but the restaurant looked so warm and welcoming. Loved the cabin woodsy interior vibe. The food was pretty good (got the short rib grilled cheese and the cheese steak and kids got the sliders). The seasoned popcorn was soooo addictive. The only thing I didn't like was the cold brew with OJ drink but maybe others do. Good service, cool place and good food. Was a tad pricey overall but we were satisfied.

Service was incredible! My drink took a little while to come out but it was somewhat busy for brunch on a Sunday. The fried green tomato Benedict was tasty but the tomato was super firm making it a little tough to eat. I chalk that up to it being out of season. Overall it was a good brunch experience and I'd definitely be back to try some other things on the menu!
