Best sub ive ever had, ingredients where fresh and you can literally taste the herds and fresh spices. The buns was also firm but fluffy, loved that the sub didnt fall apart while eating it tooUPDATE: I was done eating and proceeding to throw my trash back in the bag it came in when i noticed a small Frooties sour cherry candy at the bottom of the bag ! Nice touch ! Perfect little snack for after demolishing such a sub

I'd heard about this sandwich all over Tiktok and as a Jersey girl who loves a good sub I had to check it out. Ordered through Grubhub from the Dupont location and was happy to see that the sandwich was packaged well. They have good quality wrapping with a cool tape decal that ensures that the sandwich doesn't get too damp. The Crunchy Boi was what I ordered for $15 (upcharge on Grubhub + all the fees) which is turkey, provolone, chips, garlic mayo, pickles, onion, lettuce and oil + vinegar. Again as a jersey girl I appreciate shredded lettuce and oil and vinegar on a sandwich so this was truly the perfect combination of a sandwich. I wasn't blown away when I took my first bite. Maybe it needed a little more seasoning? Like oregano & pepper? The bread was pretty good, soft and held up well for all of the items inside. The sandwich was large enough to be able to enjoy half of it for lunch and the other for dinner. I'm not sure I would get this sandwich all the time because I wasn't blown away and it's pretty pricey when you order on a delivery app. I would however definitely indulge and get one on a warm summer day by the pool or for a picnic. For now it's the best sub I've had in DC. Check it out and let me know what other sandwiches might be good to try here or any other deli in DC.

The small dupont location was really popular! I got the crunchy boi sandwich and I really appreciated the vegetarian option to substitute for mozzarella! I do wish that there was a more protein heavy option for vegetarians but still I was a fan. The staff here was the selling point though as everyone was incredibly friendly and had a smile on their face. I really enjoyed the sandwich and it was very filling but a bit pricey for a sandwich at the end of the day. The aioli was definitely the best part!

The service is a 10/10! The two guys that are on the sub line, love them! Made me laugh, was helpful on what sauces to add since it was my first time but I felt so positive leaving. When it comes to the actually sub, the bread ruined it. The contents on the inside were delicious but the bread was chewy and not firm enough for me and I probably should have gotten it toasted.

Favorite sandwich I've had in my 2.5 years in the DMV. Initially wanted to go for the Caesar sandy but got the Crunchy Boy instead and the vusoli II. The crunchy boi is a sandwich I am going to crave. The turkey meat was smoked? Seasoned? Amazing. The bread was perfect because no bite felt like a dry mouthful of bread, and it didnt get soggy despite eating this sandwich half for lunch half for dinner. I got the oil & vinegar on the side for this reason. The meatball sandwich had generous sized meatballs and was toasted to perfection.

We saw this place on Tik Tok and decided to give it a chance especially since it had a gluten free options. I got the turkey Caesar which was incredible. They turned the roll into a garlic bread crouton by baking it and the cold and hot contrast of the bread and the cold Caesar salad was great. They toss the salad before putting it on the roll so everything is coated evenly. We also got the crunchy boy on gluten free bread. It was a $5 up charge for the gluten free roll but it was a big sandwich and we took half home so it was like two meals. The sandwich was good and the chips added a nice crunch factor. The service was okay. The whole operation is a little hectic. You are supposed to take a number but there is no sign that says that and the number machine is in the front so you don't really know if it's your first time. Overall the food was great and would highly recommend if you are visiting DC

Lettuce. Sssoooo much lettuce.I thought this establishments food was ok. My girlfriend loved it. The crunchy boi wasn't my favorite. So much lettuce. But it was good. It was like a college sub I would make back in the day. There weren't clear instructions for ordering so when we walked in, we stood in line for no reason. Then after we walked up to grab a menu, we saw we needed to take a number so then we could place an order. The regulars knew the drill but you could tell there were plenty of people that didn't because the line would disappear then form again, then disappear. They're fast and get those sandwiches going. That's not a problem. And it is verrry popular. If you need a fast, good meal, this is it.

AMAZING sandwiches.A great variety on the menu, decent pricing for DC and good serving sizes.A lot of times sandwiches fall short because they're not sauced or have the right texture--these are not those. They're popular for a reason. The bread is soft but sturdy, not too hard or crunchy to scratch up the top of your mouth and they go heavy on sauce which I love. I also love a thiiiiiiiin shreddy lettuce and a ton of it, so this place hits every time for me.Hot pants and crunchy boi are so good that I haven't ventured outside of those options yet, but I will one day. They work pretty quickly to get your orders out despite getting pretty busy!

3.5 stars - Got the crunchy boi but subbed the garlic mayo for hot chili aioli which was definitely the move. While the aioli was very unique and flavorful I just felt like everything else on it was eh. The chips felt like they were from a 99¢ bag and everything else I could've picked up at the grocery store. Ended up being $16 plus a $1 tip so for a $17 sandwich I would definitely just make it at home next time. The portions are huge so it definitely lasts two meals if you aren't too hungry. Inside area was cute and there was some seating and the employees were very welcoming and patient and helped me make my decision! Just wish the prices were more reasonable.

Ive been seeing the crunch boi sub all down my timeline since moving to the area!! Stopped in to try it on my walk down P St. It's the cutest little place with minimal tables and more of a grab and go feel. I was nervous I wouldn't like this sub because it's packed with so many different things that I typically don't go for, but I was pleasantly surprised. I understand the hype and would recommend stopped in if you're near the dupont area!! You order with the people making the sandwich and pay at the register!
