We did Friday girls' night at Coco B's and had the best time! There were a couple areas of improvement, but I still gave 4 stars because the customer service was amazing! John was our server and he was attentive, gave recommendations, and answered our menu questions. The manager also came to check in a few times. As far as food, we got the jerk wings, oxtail patties, Jamaican sushi, ceviche, shrimp al ajillo, and rib. I think as a whole, i'd say the food was a 6/10. The food took a while to come out, and then it came out cold. The wings seemed like they could have used more seasoning, but were cooked perfectly. The jamaican sushi was missing something. It lacked flavor. Ceviche and short rib were pretty good. My favorite bite of the night was hands down the oxtail patties. 10/10! It's definitely not your traditional "jamaican patty" but it was really good. The drinks were pretty good too. We had the aku aku sunset, dac-dac-doc, rock the boat, and a special made mocktail. John's special shots were also tasty! All of the drinks are pretty sweet and tropical. The restaurant is very cute and makes you feel like you're in Miami or on an island somewhere. Even the restroom was matching the pink/island vibe. I'd definitely visit again based on the customer service, the drinks, and the oxtail patties!

Visited in summer 2024 on a Saturday for brunch. Made a reservation online. Had to wait for host service even though the restaurant was nearly empty of patrons. We were able to be seated on rooftop patio for brunch and were the only patrons on the patio while dining. The brunch and drink menu is limited but the restaurant does have a full bar. The interiors are fun and bright and the patio has a retro beach furniture aesthetic. Our server was attentive and provided recommendations of the restaurant's favorite cocktails. The food took awhile to come to our table and the tacos on the regular rooftop menu weren't the best as far as flavor and presentation. The restaurant was fairly empty for brunch on Saturday afternoon so it was a little disappointing that the food service was slow. There is paid street parking and deck nearby$$

Rhe place is cute but it was empty during rush hour brunch.i had a horrible experience with he food and staff. The staff was so rude. I started off with the coconut shrimp with was too oily. Then I had the short rib hash which was solo bad. The meat smelled and tasted old/expired. When I called the waitress she called over the manager and I told her that my short rib smelled and didn't taste good she told me she would bring my check out so I can leave. I then told her I was going to order the French toast. Then she proceeds to tell me that the French toast is banana bread which I said yes I know, it's on the menu. She rolled her eyes and left. Then one of the customers sitting next to me told me, I believe they want you to leave. I guess it didn't cross my mind when she told me since I ordered about $80 worth of food. I had finished my mimosa and shrimp. I was with my husband and he ordered a burrito that he said was not good as well. But the manager did kick me out and I'm guessing she was surprised I didn't leave. It totally went over my head when she said it. I will never go back. No wonder the place was empty during brunch.

A couple friends and I stopped by Coco B's last Thursday for food and happy hour (Monday-Friday, 5-7 PM). Only their bar side of the restaurant was open during this time, but there were some high tops for the three of us to eat and drink. Both of my friends got a happy hour martini/cocktail of some sort that they thought was OK, nothing special. One of them didn't like that the drink came in a cheap plastic cup, but that's more of a personal preference. We ordered a bunch of food to share and here were some of our thoughts:COCONUT SHRIMP BASKET - 10This only comes with four pieces of shrimp (deep fried with coconut flakes), lots of fries, and some ketchup and tamarind mayo. We didn't think this was worth the ten bucks we paid for only four pieces of shrimp, which had a strong coconut flavor and quite crispy. The fries were just okay.BEEF SLIDERS - 10Each order comes with two beef sliders that has your typical patty, cheese, and pickles. This wasn't too dry, but there was too much bun and not much of anything else. Gone in two bites.LAVA NACHOS - 8These were our favorite for the night and we ended up ordering another one. Each plate was pretty sizable, full of tortilla chips, topped with lots of melted cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, and lettuce. We loved the cheese sauce, guac, and pico here. The nachos definitely isn't short of toppings. We would recommend the lava nachos if you're looking for a tasty sharable.YUCCA FRIES - 7This came with 15 or so yucca fries which were a bit stale. There were also spicy chimichurri sauce and chipotle sauce that you can dip the yucca fries in. Overall, it was OK but nothing I'd order again.PEPPERONI FLATBREAD - 7A good personal item for yourself if you really wanted flatbread. It was quite greasy, though, which was most of the flavor of the pizza. I don't think we loved this but we didn't hate it either.ISLAND WINGS - 6Each order comes with six wings which were super saucy. The wings were tasty and good, so one of my friends got another order for himself. We'd recommend getting these here!Overall, pretty underwhelming experience. The food wasn't amazing and neither were the drinks. It's worth a try, but I personally wouldn't be back.

My friends and I were walking in Clarendon looking for a new spot to get some drinks and little shimmy when this place caught our attention. They were playing some fire music so we followed the music and it took us to a little roof top. Casual and cute spot. Lots of room for dancing and big groups. Went twice now and looks like you can have events there so that was cool. They have lots of frozen drink options and typical drinks as well. What really got my attention was their CBD drink. I was DD so this was perfect for me. We did try to food once. The yuca fries were the best thing we tried. Chicken ceasar wrap was ok, I wouldn't get it again though. We'll likely be back

Man I wish I can give this place a better rating, but I have to be honest. On the positive side, the staff were really nice and friendly. The manager greeted me and the bartenders were really nice and helpful. The tacos and the food were pretty decent as well. On the negative side, the rooftop is really the only thing that's open during the week. I was told that the restaurant is only open for brunch, which was a huge disappointment since the temperature was in the high 90's. It was hot asf lol. Overall, the rooftop and bar area can use some TLC. The drinks were not good at all, as the bartenders tried to make margaritas without the triple sec and instead used lemon juice. Plenty of the liquor bottles must've had fruit flies in them because on two occasions I had flies in my drink immediately after I received them. Lastly, the food was served on paper plates with plastic utensils. Clearly it was a cost saving measure. Based off of the photos, my expectations were high. Unfortunately, this place didn't live up to my expectations. If going in I knew this place was more like a dive/tiki bar, then I would've better prepared with lower expectations.

I have been here twice now with friends. To be honest the decor is much better than the drinks. The decor invites you in and makes for a coolHangout spot different than other bars in Clarendon. Prices are reasonable. However, i have ordered from their cocktail menu and the drinks are definitely well drinks with lower quality alcohol. The bar tenders are always nice though and the music is a great time. We can always easily find seats but it does get busy at night time. Overall, fun bar but the cool decor doesn't make up for the average drinks.

First time coming here. First impression: terrible parking places because if you can't street park, there's a parking near by for $7/hr. The street parking is $2/hr. First look at the restaurant, it is super cute with vibrant colors and decors. - Coconut shrimp is my favorite. It is just the right amount of seasoning for both the sauce and the shrimp. Shrimp was super crispy and fresh. - Jerk chicken and waffle: waffle is not crispy and it's soft, jerk chicken is okay. Not bad but also not outstanding. - We like the salad though. It have mangoes and avocado and also heart of palm which makes it fresh. - The guac is with yucca chips I believe. The chips delicious but the guac is a little sour to me. Service amazing though. They check on us every 30 minutes to make sure we are doing good and did not need anything. Over all, if you are near, you should come and. give this place a try.

I hadn't heard of Coco B's before but ended up there for a Meet and Greet. It was cute on the inside and had a designated bar area and tables for dining in at the front. There was also a decent sized area off to the side for the meet and greet. There was another bar and space for dancing. There were probably about 100 or more of us in the area so it was a little tight in places but it wasn't too bad. I wanted to place an order for the jerk sushi and a drink but the service at both bars was very slow so unfortunately, I didn't get anything. Otherwise, I had a good experience, I just wish the music wasn't so loud because it was hard to mingle and hear the other people there. Coco B's was decorate nicely and I can see the appeal but there is room for improvement. It wasn't overly crowded in the main area but there was a nice vibe. There's street parking available and I'm happy I found a parking spot right across the street. I would stop in for drinks and bites when I'm in the area again.

Great spot with inside downstairs and rooftop upstairs seating both areas with bars. Service was great food was delicious and drinks were tropical tasting(which was a good thing). The chill vibe in this space was very inviting the rooftop is beautiful the music was on point. There is limited pay parking on street and there's a parking garage right around the corner. They offer Happy Hour specials too.
