Penne pasta. Tasty because I love all Pasta, but the green peas threw me off. Sauce is more like stew...
Autumn Burrata Salad
Hamachi crudo. Tasty but slightly overpowering fish sauce. Lime helps...

This night I was looking for good Gnocchi and a chill vibe. It was a cold rainy night in Navy Yard, I just wanted to eat dinner and call it a night. So I walked in around the early part of there dinner service and I was greater by some very friendly hostesses and i think the manager. They walked me over to the bar and the bar tender gave me a menu.He was also super friendly, gave me his recommendations and assured me the gnocchi was worth the trip. - Scallop crudo, this was the bartender's recommendation and I mean wow! Bright, a tinge spicy with that Jalapeño oil and clean. Im super picky about seafood but this was a great way to introduce me to the theme of Chloe's food.- Gnocchi, this was what I was looking for. The Gnocchi itself was light, soft and buttery. I could taste the sage brown butter. Then there was the buts of sweet potato that gave it a slight bite along with the bread crumbs that reminded me of a savory pie crust. This was my favorite part of the meal. It was like a gnocchi pot pie, perfect for a cold, rainy night.- The Manchego cheesecake was so good! Okay maybe this was my favorite too. I mean I love this cheese I would have never imagined it for a cheesecake. It still has the unique taste of the cheese and it is rich. But whoever thought of the lemon-quince sorbet you are a genius. Wars could be ended for this dessert. That tart sour bite into the cheesecake is so well balanced. I was full and honestly did not care. The crisp, pistachios and dried apricot bring some nice crunchy, nutty and sweet notes.Overall i felt welcomed, satisfied and told all my friends they have to go! As I left it filled up and you can see the vibe matches the amazing food. 10 out of 10 I recommend.

Overall Rating: 5/10I love the concept of a restaurant serving global cuisine, but Chloe might need to narrow its focus. The flavors were all over the place--unfortunately, none of them stood out. Add a server who kept nervously asking if we liked each dish, and, well... let's just say, neither of us felt confident.Food: 2.5/5Appetizers:* Crispy Wagyu Beef & Kimchi Dumplings: Who doesn't love a dumpling? But a wasted garnish and too little sauce made these forgettable.* Creamy Buratta: Arugula and burrata? Classic. But this dish needed something to tie it all together.Main Course:* Red Wine Braised Creekstone Beef Short Rib: Tender? Yes. Exciting? No. The dish lacked the richness needed to balance the mild mash and spinach.* Russet Potato Gnocchi: A solid, traditional dish. Enjoyable but nothing special.Evening Special:* Creole Shrimp Gumbo: The best thing I ate all night... and it wasn't even on the Restaurant Week menu. That biscuit soaked up the gumbo perfectly!Dessert:* Tres Leches Cake: Cake + fruit = no complaints.* Tropical Fruit Sorbet: Would've loved it--if I liked chia pudding. If that's your thing, you'll be happy.Service + Décor: 2.5/5Our server had zero social awareness. Interrupting mid-conversation to ask if we liked the food--repeatedly--made for an awkward experience. Then, when we asked to split the bill, he made such a scene we were straight-up embarrassed.Décor? Simple, neutral, heavy on wood, with an open kitchen adding contrast. Nothing flashy, just warm and functional.Full Review on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DF-h49vRViW/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==Disclaimer: These are my personal opinions. Please try these restaurants and form your own judgments--it's what I would do.

Strong variety of plates and good wine selection. A good spot to try something new. The good: Great variety on the menu with a Mediterranean - Levant - American mix of plates enhanced by a selection of specials. Great selection of wines to pair with a decent by the glass selection and large by the bottle list. Service was also excellent with strong knowledge of the menu and great pacing which can be difficult with small plates. The bad: nothing to complain about here atmosphere was lively without being to loud for a date. The mediocre: ok I know I plugged the menu variety and it is a great place to try something new but it's not a great menu if you have a picky eater with you. Between raw fish variations on liver and lamb the proteins are great but all at least mildly niche. Maybe not the place to bring you I only eat steak and chicken friends. Great spot on a black of great spots. See you again soon.

Spectacular food!!! Came here for restroom week and hands-down one of the best restaurants in DC area. I absolutely loved every single thing we ordered. I really can't decide which dish was better. This place have really high quality ingredients, the dishes aren't super big, but worth every bite! Our server was excellent, he helped us pick from the menu, very helpful... We sat outside because it was really nice weather, they have nice sitting inside as well. Please give this place a try you won't regret.

Food here was surprisingly delicious packed with a ton of flavor. Server recommended the poached egg with scallion biscuit and it was seriously so good. Still thinking about the mushroom gravy. This one is a must try on the menu. The crispy chicken was also delicious and kept its crispiness while lying on a bed of sauce. The hanger steak portion was too small, and there were not enough noodles. Was not a filling meal. The garlic noodles are also a must try. It was super creamy and rich, paired well with other protein dishes. Really want to come back and try their dessert options.

Chloe in DC's Navy Yard is a tapas style restaurant which is my favorite. We kicked off our dinner with the Artisanal Cheese Plate. The wildflower honey was a lovely addition to the cheeses. The pecan-dried fruit bread was also a favorite. The highlight of the meal was hands down the Ahi Tuna Tartare. Served with crispy nori tempura, avocado, and a wasabi-soy emulsion. The tartare was fresh, and the tempura added a lovely crunch that elevated the dish. Simply put, the tuna tartare was "it."Next up was the Spanish Summer Corn, which was a revelation--garlic aioli, manchego, and smoked paprika brought a beautifully balanced richness, brightened by a touch of lemon. The final dish, Potato Gnocchi, was comfort food at its finest. The gnocchi, paired with sweet corn, mushrooms, smoked mozzarella, and pine nut pesto, was a lovely balance of sweet and smoky. I absolutely love pesto. Highly recommend the tuna tartare--it steals the show!

Girls night dinner for the win! The cocktails were delicious! I got the hello something - the gin drink. It did have a nice kick to it.We got the grilled house bread, the crudo, pasta and the crispy whole fish. The chef/ kitchen staff was kind enough to accommodate our request of removing the head before serving it to us. Maybe because it was close to closing time, I did feel a little rushed as we were being asked multiple times if the plates could be removed when we were clearly eating and had plenty of food in the serving dishes. Asides from this, I did enjoyed it brut food. It was delicious! the crudo and pasta were my favorites from the lot. I'd definitely like to come back again and try out some other menu items.

BEWARE! Our waitress had weird energy and be did not check on us. I got 29 mosquito bites on my right leg. Don't sit on the patio. The Carmalized Cauliflower was soggy and tasted like peanut butter. Would not recommend.

Great food but just good service. Burrata, Cod, and Choc/Banana parfait were the standouts. Fried wontons, and Short Ribs were very good, too.I have a hard time at nice restaurants where they can't remember who ordered what, which was our experience here. Otherwise i would have rated it fuve stars.
