The food here was really good and priced well. I did take out for dinner, but there is a seating area that is reasonably clean and well-kept. If you're stopping in for lunch during the workday, then there wouldn't be any issues dining in. I ordered the double-cooked pork, chicken with garlic sauce dinner combination, and shrimp with broccoli dinner combination. The dinner combinations come with fried rice and choice of egg roll or soup. I selected wonton soup and hot and sour soup. While I was waiting for my order, the staff (which I think might be all family) were talking to each other in Mandarin, which for me, lends a lot of credence to the quality of the food here. The younger woman at the cash register was very friendly. The shrimp and broccoli was really good. It comes with the standard Americanized Chinese dark sauce which has a pretty sweet taste, but what really stood out for this dish was the large shrimp. There were 7 very large shrimp and large chunks of fresh broccoli. My one big complaint with this dish and the other dinner special is the fried rice that comes with it. It's really just soy sauce fried rice. There were no peas, carrots, or onions in this. Just white rice tossed in a wok with some soy sauce. It was really not flavorful and I would have preferred just plain rice. The chicken with garlic sauce came with strips of chicken, julienned celery, carrots, and bamboo shoots, a lesser amount of julienned wood ear fungus, slices of water chestnuts, and a scant amount of green onion. I thought the variety of vegetables here was really great. The garlic flavor was not so strong (I would have liked it stronger), but the sauce had a mild spice to it and was overall really tasty. The double-cooked pork (or "twice-cooked" at other places) was great. It also came chock full of vegetables, including green cabbage, green bell pepper, thin-sliced carrot rounds, and sliced white mushrooms. The flavor of the sauce was not as sweet as you'd find in this dish at other Chinese restaurants (e.g., China King), and it wasn't as spicy, either. I think it being less sweet made it just right. The soups were mediocre. The hot and sour soup was neither very hot (spicy) nor sour. It did come with a good traditional selection of ingredients, including tofu, bamboo shoots, egg white, mushrooms, and wood ear fungus. I probably wouldn't get it again unless I were motivated to put it on the stove and add more white pepper and Chinese vinegar to it to pump up the flavor. The wonton soup had unremarkable light broth, and three meat-filled wontons. The wontons themselves were pretty good, but overall, the soup didn't excite my taste buds.I mentioned that the menu is well-priced. Some primary dishes are featured as lunch/dinner combos and come with the (uninteresting) fried rice and either soup or egg roll. The portion is smaller than if you were to order the regular menu item, but at about $1.50 cheaper, if you're fine with soy sauce rice and unremarkable soup, then they're a great deal. Even the regular menu items are well-priced for the portion size.I've actually eaten from here 2 or 3 other times but never got around to writing a review. All the food here is pretty scarfable - tasty enough for one to order more than enough and then overeat in one sitting. I'm looking forward to my next meal at this place.

If you are looking for an affortable , lazy dinner but delicious chinese restaurant ... come here! My family and I have been coming here for many many years and they never dissappoints. This restaurant is not high class but it's regular thursday night dinner. My grandma favorite dish is always the chicken wings. They are really big wings and also very crispy. They also catered these chicken wings and other dishes for parties as well. We always order their lomein and their chicken wings for parties!

Was very disappointed. I was craving traditional wonton soup, what I got was soup broth with wontons. Not a lot of flavor, no pork or chicken just broth and wontons. I also ordered chicken and cashews, some of the chicken was white meat, hot, juicy and delish while other pieces were cold and chewy. The only ice tea they have was canned and none was sugar free. The only sugar free drink they had besides water was Diet Coke. I can't have drinks with bubbles so it was either water or tea with tons of sugar. I was the only person eating in, all other customers who came in were doing take out. The place was clean, but you had to clean up after yourself. It was not very welcoming. I will not be coming back.

Your local Chinese food spot is phenomenal. I'm not too sure why this place has a low rating I'm pretty sure the management or the chef has changed because the recent reviews that are the newest show nothing but five stars and I can attest to that. I'm not gonna lie some of the nicer Chinese food in Bethesda Maryland is just like this joint right here. I came here with my Chinese friends, and they spoke in Mandarin and they looked out all the dishes in a timely manner and honestly it tasted excellent. I could tell nothing was expired and there's definitely no food poisoning maybe a little bit of MSG, but honestly who doesn't use MSG these days. Might go to is combination lo mein with lobster seafood sauce medley, the eggplant with garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, in hot and sour soup. It is bussin bussin.

I actually love this Chinese food spot. You can't have high expectations for local Chinese food, but for what it's worth it's great portions, flavorful, and the service is always friendly.I usually get their crab rangoons, lo mein, fried rice, general tso chicken, double cooked pork, and chow fun.All are great although the double cooked pork has a lot of bell peppers so it usually overpowers the dish. Chow fun is a hit or miss, one day it's super good, the next there might not be enough sauce so just tell them to put more sauce lol but be nice!Again, you get what you pay for. The flavor and portions are worth the cheap price on a lazy day!

This place is one of our go-to's in the area! The family who runs this business is always accommodating and serves delicious food! You can order at the counter and they'll bring the food out to you once it's ready. Super quick and the lunch combos are very affordable! Love to order dinner size during lunch time to share and for bigger portions. Very clean with ample seating inside as well, unlike other take out places.

This was my 2nd time ordering from this place. The first time was painless ordering.Today the woman I spoke to was an absolute fuss pot and bitch. She told me you will eat what we prepare how we prepare regardless of whether or not you are paying.

I was hesitant to try this place given some of the super negative reviews - but I'm really glad I did. This will most likely be my go to for Chinese takeout around Fair Lakes. It's very much a hole-in-the-wall type of place, so tbh I would just do takeout. We got the following: General Tso's Chicken, Crab Rangoons, Combination Pan Fried Noodles.I usually go for the General Tso's Chicken as a benchmark when I try new Chinese takeout restaurants. The chicken was fried well, not overly breaded, the sauce had good flavor and even had some spicy-ness. I think this was one of the better General Tso's I've had in recent memory - a lot better than some places around here that have higher overall Yelp reviews. I would definitely get this again.Crab rangoons - they give you a good portion here (like 8), and they're stuffed with a good amount of filling (super crunchy exterior, cream cheese & green onion filling). This was also a lot better than I had expected.Combination Pan Fried Noodles - I liked this. Noodles are pretty thick and really chewy though - almost bread like in way? If you prefer super thin, crunchier noodles, I don't think you'll enjoy the noodle texture as much as I did. The sauce was tasty though, and the veggies had good texture (not too soft). This place is another example of me being unable to trust other people's opinions on Yelp lol. Don't even trust mine, just go try the above items for yourself and see if you agree with me. I'm coming back here for more takeout lol.
