I went to this place because I was in the mood for Chinese food and it was the closest. I ordered when I got there so I had to wait for a few minutes while they prepared my food. There were a couple of people ahead of me waiting for their food. And while I was waiting there were several phone orders that came in.The food was overall decent for Chinese food. The spring rolls were nice and crispy and I did enjoy the hot and sour soup.The shrimp egg foo young was slightly disappointing. I could see the shrimp but they hardly had any flavor to them. The brown sauce that came with the egg foo young was a little clumpy and granular and reminded me of gravy instead of the shiny dark brown sauce I am used to. I don't think I will order this from here again.The moo shu pork was delicious. What was neat was that instead of the traditional pancakes that normally accompanies moo shu pork, they used the spring roll wrappers and that worked well for me. I actually liked it better.The beef lo mein was good. It tasted like what I expected. I would order it again.The pork with broccoli was delicious. They gave me enough rice to accompany this dish.This restaurant was decent. The decor is not much but I find that many hole in the wall type places have decent food and this place did take care of my craving. The best part is that they said that they don't put MSG in their food. That I appreciate very much.

Ordered her ECU my husband wanted something after Micheal and unfortunately it was not the best. the General TSO was chewy and dry and our crab Rangoon wasn't really filled.

Had a taste for Chinese food and some time to kill before an appointment. I had the shrimp hunan and my sister had the fried chicken with shrimp fried rice (no peas or carrots). She saw a customer eating the chicken when we arrived it looked appetizing. Both dishes were awesome. The food tasted good. Neither dish was salty or over cooked. The chicken hunan tasted authentic. Now the rating is strictly for the food and service. The restaurant needs a deep cleaning (it was generally clean) or a renovation. I will be back again. Don't change the cook!

I actually like China one. It's been my go to place for Chinese since 1992. I remember I was 14 and I used to ride my bike here. I still like it to this day.

From what is seen from the outside, it seems like a good Chinese place to eat, but once inside (after ordering) the place takes on a whole new (and bad) persona.Food is terribly overcooked, overpriced and the restaurant is hardly clean (something I tend to overlook if the food is good. Save your money and go to Safeway for the box (microwave) Chinese food in the frozen section.

Been going to China One for 25 years. Their taste is the Best. I have tried many chinese restaurants in the Alexandria and Woodbridge area, but nothing beats their crusty chicken wings and Combination fried rice!

The food here is really good the egg rolls are always good I love their chicken wings with fried rice

Half chicken fire best half chicken in the area with fried rice juicy and cheap can't beat it anywhere else I drive 25 min just for this food

Terrible service! I received uncooked chicken, and French fries that's been sitting in grease. I've never received such bad Chinese food in my life. I literally had to pick through the chicken to find a piece of meat that wasn't bloody. When I returned the owner of the store had an attitude; and had the audacity to tell me she would only refund half of my money because the chicken had been tore apart. (To check for blood). She refused to remake the order, and instead she refunded my money in cash. I supported the business often and they do not value their customers. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!

Absolutely the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever had in my life and I'm 40 the food was very bland and greasy the shrimp was not cooked thoroughly and the fried rice that wasn't fried at all was under cooked and hard I called them to complain and the lady hung up on me and was extremely rude will not ever eat from this place again should of knew better once I walked in cuz the place looks dirty don't know how they are even still in business and I'm typing this on the Tiolet pissed cuz it gave me the runs /shits oh can't forget the burnt steak and cheese EGGROLL
