Chicken + Whiskey is such a chill, low-key gem serving up some seriously good Peruvian food. Their rotisserie chicken, fried chicken salad, La Comadre, and black beans all hit the spot--flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. I've even ordered catering from here for events, and it was a huge hit with friends!Beyond the food, the vibe here is great. The service is good. Quick and easy. The 'whiskey' side of the restaurant is a bar with live music, adding to the energy. Whether you're grabbing a casual meal or hanging out with friends over drinks, this place delivers. Definitely a go-to spot!

This place has even on my list fir a long time. I'm glad I had the chance to finally check it out. I had 1/4 dark with the mix rice and beans and the Mac and cheese. It was really good. The service was pretty fast and the place had a good amount of people inside. One thing nite, the empanadas can take a while so give yourself 20-30mins if you're ordering. I'll definitely go back

Love the themed pop-up bars at Chicken + Whiskey! The Mistletoe & Mischief and Valentine's Day pop-ups were awesome and the special cocktails and shooters are cute and yummy! The decorations are also so well-done and fun! I enjoy the fact they have events like speed dating and karaoke that makes for a lively bar scene! The most recent visit we had half of the white chicken - which was tender and quite flavorful, along with the Mac 'N Queso which is really good and one of our favorites! The empanadas are also a must-order as well! And you NEED to get the apple pie churros! I will be coming back for these! Overall solid drinks, vibe, and food!

Chicken + Whiskey, what a cute little gem nestled in Navy Yard.Not sure if this chain will last. The menu is limited and the food is just okay. It's good but not a place that one thinks, Yummers let's go to Chicken and Whiskey.There is just too much competition food wise in the area. Customer service is fantastic! I'll give them that. Ambiance is casual. Parking is a nightmare. Especially on game days. Overall, I'm not sure I'd return. Glad I did try!

This is my second try at Chicken and Whiskey, my first wasn't great. Second stop was much better. Staff is friendly, food was fantastic and service was quick. Mac and queso and fried plantains were delicious. Definitely worth the trip, highly recommended.

Before going to Dreamland at Duke's Grocery, Gabe, Nicole, and I grabbed one round of drinks at Chicken + Whiskey. We were sad that they stopped offering their Mistletoe and Mischief holiday pop-up and stripped all the holiday decor. It would have been nice to keep it up until the New Year. Even though it wasn't busy, we had to order drinks from the bar. Gabe enjoyed the !Que Chido! cocktail and a shot of Widow Jane 10 year bourbon, Nicole enjoyed a Pisco Punch, and I enjoyed the Million Dollar Becky.

The chicken is so amazing and the aii Amarillo sauce. I ordered roasted veges and for some reason they were burn-your-mouth-off spicy??? I did not expect that and couldn't eat them. The arroz chaufa is delicious but be advised: has meat in it. I think they should label spicy, vegan, and vegetarian better and more clearly on their menu. The old fashioned for $8 was a good deal too. Nice outdoor seating. I will be back for sure.

I have been trying to check out chicken & whiskey for a while. This place is located in the navy yard area and is right near nationals park.When you arrive if you go to the left you are in the bar area and if you go to the right is where the restaurant is.For two people I recommend the whole chicken plus a couple of sides.The staff will provide their recommendations as well.The most flavorful item were the beans and the chicken.However I did not like the corn as it was a cold dish and being from texas street corn is a hot dish.The atmosphere is cool and the price point for this much food is affordable.

When this chicken is fresh out of the rotisserie right after 5:30pm, it's freaking delicious. Whiskey drinks on tap are on point. Mac and cheese with corn in it is bangin even the next day. Add a drop of water and warm up with left over shredded chicken in a 300 degree oven. Dank. Everyone in the ball park location is very nice
