Business ownerPay attention to your store on 410/Riggs The food it's supposed to be hot and they're serving lukewarm Don't know if your steam table is broken or whatever, but the y shouldn't be serving food on a danger zone, on top of there was a roach running next to the food I've stopped there several times, but at this point this was my last visit

Been coming here for years. They've changed the outside but still the same inside. Nothing wrong with that but good as usual, reasonably priced and delicious.

Attempted to overcharge me for something I did not order. Threw my money when I asked for a refund. Food is subpar at best. Service is even worse.

My family has eaten here several times. The chicken is better than average, although at times it tends to be a bit dry and greasy at the same time (it's really hard to explain). They have a wide array of sides, including plantain, fried yucca, several vegetable selections, and a variety of drinks. There are also other main dishes like bbq ribs. You generally get good-sized portions, and their sauces are pretty tasty. Decent value for your money. The downsides: this place is a chain- it's a vacant owner operation, so the staff is never too friendly, and the place could be cleaner than it usually is. Atmosphere isn't exactly great either- I suggest you get your food and take it home, fighting traffic all the way to enter/exit the strip shopping center where this eatery is located. I give it four stars: good chicken, great variety, meh on service and atmosphere. Try it out for take-out- I think you'll like it.

I've been passing by this place for many years and after a friend recommended it, I'm glad I decided to try it. During my most recent visit I was really impressed with my experience. Although the line was long, it moved very quickly. The staff is very friendly and my meal was absolutely delicious. You will definitely get a lot for your money here. Although Sardi's and some other Peruvian spots are probably more popular, this place is certainly a hidden gem. You will not be disappointed!!

My dad was visiting from out of state and we were on our way to see his childhood home in Adelphi when we hit red at the intersection and a smoky mass of intense rotisserie aromas enveloped our car and everyone started screaming at me that "IT IS TIME TO EAT, NNNOOOWWW!!!" Ok fine, so I pull over and Siri open Yelp. No reviews, what? But the Yelp map has lots of other 4 star heavily reviewed places close, isn't that safer? At this point I subject myself to internal ridicule, "You worthless, spineless nitty. You used to crash the most unlikely dive joints with a sense of adventure and pure fearlessness. Now you've let the 40 minutes you've been in Maryland turn you into a freaking liberal--mind dependent on the governmental validation of other Yelp Dukes and her backslappers before you trudge into the unknown. Are you afraid of being a first? Can you proceed without The Safetynet?" A swift turn of the wheel, and a plume of diesel exhaust moved our Eco-enemy Excursion into the parking lot. It was packed. We walked in as throngs were walking out with large styrofoam containers. We then joined the quickly moving line. The menu offered beef fajitas, teriyaki items, fried rice, various stews, salads, and more; but clearly, the star of this show is their rotisserie chicken. Under $9 gets you a 1/2 chicken with two sides. I saw spaghetti, green beans, rice, dirty rice[black beans/white rice], plantains, beans, sweet corn, french fries, salad and several others I can't recall. As we were in line the rotisserie guy opened up the oven revealing full racks of whirling birds over a brisk hardwood inferno. Unlike the overly brine inflated Costco Jenny's you may know, these are the real deal. The chicken is coated in an amazing dry rub then seared with almost crispy skin. The smoky flavor penetrates all the moist meat--it's quite impressive and delicious. It also comes with my favorite Aji Peruvian green sauce and the yellowish mayonnaise based sauce (not sure what it's called).A few of the sides could use a bit of retooling--fries, corn, and green beans excepted. The noodles tasted like canned, the rice overlooked, and a quite frankly way too thick "tortilla". It looked like the illegitimate child of Mr. Sope and Ms. Pita, very dense and almost wet. They would be better off with a traditional tortilla that is foldable and in my perfect world offered in corn or flour. The plates/portions are #HUGE. Two can share. The seating is sparse and typical fast foodish. Nothing fancy. Chicken Loco is worth a visit. Enjoy!

Drove by this place several times and could always smell the goodness coming out of the roof so I decided to get dinner from there today which was 1/2 chicken, plantains and rice & beans and everything was cooked perfectly and the chicken had a very good taste to it! I also got two little cups of the yellow sauce which is good. I will go back soon because for $9 that's a pretty good deal.

One of the most reasonably price char-broiled chicken in the area. This place isn't one of the well known char-broiled chicken places but once more people realize that they are getting the same thing at a better price at Chicken Loco the better your stomach and pockets will feel. :) You can get a half dark chicken with 2 side for a little under $8. Also, fried plantains are considered a side unlike most Peruvian chicken restaurants. I stand by this message.Antoine
