fire rice and sweet and sour chicken so delicious
6 Steamed Vegetarian Dumplings. They were too dough-y and chewy. I don't really recommend it.
Vegetable Tempura to-go.. I don't recommend it. It didn't taste good and it's not like Japanese tempura.

Chef Huang is different from your typical Chinese restaurant. Upon our entrance, we thought we would sit down and have a server, since it appeared to be like that type of restaurant. It wasn't. It is all self service. You order then wait at your table for your order. Our food was in a to go bag and packaging and we were given two styrofoam plates, plastic dinnerware, and napkins. Our drinks were in cans. This was our first time at a Chinese restaurant here and it felt odd eating this way in a booth under a giant crystal chandelier. My husband paid for the bill after they gave us the bag of food to eat at the table. He gave them a 20% tip ($6) without even tasting the food. I prefer to tip after trying the food in a restaurant or a $1 or $2 if we are just ordering takeout at a place. We both decided afterwards that the food was so superlative that the tip was fair. The Crab Rangoon impressed me the most. Usually I expect it to taste like the typical takeout Crab Rangoon. The appetizers were the hugest I ever seen and immensely succulent with a light crispy shell. Cooked to perfection and the best I ever tasted. The General Tso Chicken was the cooked perfectly and lacked that gummy crust texture I usually notice on past takeout experiences of General Tso Chicken. One of the finest cooked versions I had of it in a long time.My husband loved his shrimp fried rice. He said it was reminiscent of the Asian fried ginger peanut rice with chicken that I would cook him. We both decided this would be our go to place for Chinese food and holiday meal takeouts. We usually eat Chinese buffet for Christmas or Thanksgiving due to work and distance from family for many years. There were a lot of menu items I wanted to try that I never see in a Chinese food menu like the fish soup. Definitely will come to this place to try every unique item especially the seafood. The customer service and the staff were the kindest and nicest we have experienced since we moved her.

While everything smells fantastic, I can't stand by or recommend this restaurant given how two of the four items I purchased. --BBQ spareribs (became dog food instead of dinner)--Shrimp Tempura (couple of photos to illustrate not tempura a seriously burnt)Nervously going to try the broccoli with brown sauce, fried rice and wonton soup...

For decades this has been our go to place for excellent food and service. Over the years a great and loving friendship has developed with the wonderful owners. Covid began a time of struggle for this business, and I would do anything to expose new people to the warm, pleasant, and marvelously tasty qualities of this fine business. It's just the best, consistently! All food is cooked fresh, nothing ever disappointing, nothing! Pricing is great, delivery is available, and we enjoy eating in after picking up our order. The interior is quite beautiful and colorful. PLEASE SUPPORT THIS QUALITY NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS!

I ordered more than I could eat ...... again!? I ate the sesame chicken, very tasty and not stingy with the sesame seeds. It was take/away, so service wasn't evaluated. The atmosphere looks nice.

Jan 6, 2023Lowering my expectations and previous review.HINT: CHECK TAKE-OUT ORDERS FOR CORRECT ITEMS!Ordered takeout from their online system, which ordered the correct food, but the chef filled it incorrectly. This required a new phone call, explaining what happened at least twice, then re-ordering the mistaken item as a replacement (they made it free), a 15-minute drive to and from the restaurant, and then sitting down with the family as their food was getting cold. That this happened once would be no "big thing," and the food quality is usually pretty good. But that this has happened three times (3x) in the last year, when an item was ordered correctly - but had a mistaken "take out" item substituted in its place - that is not so good. This happened each time on a Friday, and only when I included a tip ahead of time. And we order multiple dishes each time, about once every month. From now on, while I'm going to continue to order here, I'm going to call it in, and pay any tip in cash on pick up, and have the picked-up food checked that they are correct - before I leave the restaurant & provide any tip.I appreciate that they recognized and fixed the mistake. But I am not pleased this has happened more than once.Food quality is good.Service is usually very good.Accuracy in take-out (at least on Fridays) is - QUESTIONABLE.

Great food. Pandemic turned them into all carry out and delivery. But they maintained quality, the chicken is good white meat breast meat, the beef is also tender and high quality. Portions are generous. Not overly spicy, unless you request it. Super nice people have been running it, I've been a customer for 20+ years.

This is an excellent restaurant for all of your Chinese food desires. The service is fast and friendly. We came around 6pm and the place was nice and quiet. Recommend the shrimp fried rice with extra eggs and the crab Rangoon. You won't be disappointed.

Had combination fried rice, and also the fried wings and fried rice lunch special. Both were just meh. The fried wings were 6 fat pieces, and fried fine. No spices or any other flavor. Only ok. The egg roll was mostly cabbage and bland. The ti e was plain bland fried rice, no peas or carrots. Tiny bit of egg.The fried rice combination had a total of two shrimp. And I ordered the large portion. . Very little pork as well. Lots of chicken. Should be renamed chicken fried rice with a dash of other meats. Also in desperate need of salt. Had none. Also bland, barely ok. Order taker was super nice, place looks fine. They use less oil than other joints, but that may account for lack of taste, the bland meh taste...

Service was great very sweet people workers or owners. First time here.Food was okay but if you are going to order anything get the orange chicken and crab Rangoon it's the best I've ever had. Orange chicken has the best taste they use orange in it and the sauce has amazing. The restaurant has a very cozy and relaxing feel. Kid friendly.
