Excellent! This meal was a taste of Louisiana. We ordered oysters in butter and garlic along with loaded crayfish. The sausage, potatoes, corn and boiled eggs were all improved by their boil with the crayfish. Meanwhile, the delicious oysters (perhaps a little too well done) were delicious dredged in the sauce as was the fluffy baguette. This order was to go, but having seen the restaurant and chatted with the staff, I can't wait to come back and eat in.

Service: the waitstaff was wonderful and very attentive! Beverages were refilled promptly, dishes taken and table cloth (paper) taken and cleaned as soon as we were done. Food: we were there for Restaurant Week and Lunar New Year celebration. We had the special pick your appetizer, seafood boil and pick your dessert. We chose Whole Dang Tang which was fried appetizer plate. The batter was light and crispy and there were 3 sauces. Very pleasantly surprised the batter was so good because I was expecting greasy fried food...you know the 'typical' fried app situationship. Seafood boil came out in a large Dutch oven. We had the spicy hot signature sauce which was the perfect level spice for us. Think Vietnamese hot, not Thai hot. Dessert was fried cheesecake - light batter and very yummy.Ambiance: last time I was at this restaurant, it was at the old location off Lee Hwy. This location in Falls Church is very upscale compared to the old one. Open and clean!!! Tip: they do add a 20% service fee that is split amongst the waitstaff. I am gonna be honest and say I hate service fees but the waitstaff here was SO ATTENTIVE that they absolutely deserved it. If more restaurants had this staff, I would gladly pay the service fee and give some extra to our waiter. Big kudos to them!!!! They are the reason why I have a full 5 stars.

Really fun and delicious experience! With 4 people, we ordered the royal feast for 2, 1 serving of mussels, and 1 garlic noodle side. We were thoroughly stuffed. Everything we got was flavorful and Id probably go back and order them all again. The mussels were the largest mussels I've ever seen. Everything in the royal feast pot was delicious, nothing was a "throwaway" ingredient. Noodles were premade, but very flavorful. Things will be pretty messy but that's part of the whole experience!Service was fast and friendly. Free parking in the adjacent garage if you enter in the code they give you when checking in.

Chasin Tails is another fine restaurant bought by the group that owns Nue, Roll Play, Teas N You, Leigh. Service at all their establishments have been terrific and the food is great. Chasin Tails specialize in seafood. We visited their Falls Church location as their Centreville location appears to be temporarily closed. The service here was great and their seafood portions were large and more importantly tasted fresh. We ordered the charbroiled oysters, seafood pot (snow crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn, garlic noodles and added crawfish). The oysters tasted great and came with a warm loaf that you can use to soak in the sauce. The seafood pot portions were large (love the shrimp which were large) and everything tasted fresh. As I mentioned, service was great. Our dessert beignet came out a little late which we didn't mind but the manager comped us and gave us coupons for free drinks/appetizers for future. Unexpected but very much appreciated. Would not hesitate to recommend this fine restaurant as well as any of their other concepts (especially Nue next door which serves fine Vietnamese cuisine).

Moonlight Saturn drink was tasty. Service was good but be aware that a 20% service charge is automatically added and it is dispersed among all staff. The food was well seasoned although not warm enough. Half warm fries are never good. Brussels sprouts were tasty but again would have been better warmer. Would I drive the thirty minutes again? No, but nice to try something new.

We came for happy hour and stayed for dinner. HH drinks were sooo good! We especially liked the old fashioned, passion mule, naked & Smokey and they even made my margarita spicy! From the HH menu, we liked the raw hamachi crudo and the fried shrimp. The Brussels sprouts were too salty due to the oyster sauce and soy sauce combination. The calamari was a little bit chewy. Moving on to the main event, we loved the seafood pot with oh dang sauce. We got a pound of king crab legs (3 large legs), 2 pounds of shrimp and a pound of crawfish. Wow! The seafood was soooo fresh! Service was attentive and this was an overall great experience!

I love Chasin Tails. I've been going here for seafood since they were at their old location in Arlington. The seafood is always fresh and the butters can't be beat. Oh dang, is my favorite sauce and as a garlic lover, I love the garlic noodles that come with most of the boil combos. The portion sizes are massive, honestly I have, in the past eaten the side of garlic noodles for my meal in the restaurant and taken the boil home. I will come get the seafood boil to go take back across town and eat at home as well. The service is always great! When they first moved to the Falls Church location, my friend and I went to try it. They were trying this new thing where they serve the boils on a plate (likely to match the slightly more upscale vibe that the new location brought). When the manager came to check in with us, we gave them the feedback that plating the boil, made it get cold, faster, and less enjoyable. She mentioned that they had been getting that feedback, and when we came back the next time some months later, they had found a solution (serving the boils in Dutch ovens). They listen to their customers, and the service just keeps getting better and better. My friend and I recently went there for her birthday this year and they had such nice birthday touches. I was honestly so impressed. We had a really nice time dining at the bar, our bartender was personable and knowledgeable. He helped us pick out drinks that we loved, the food was good as always, and they even left her with a happy birthday card that had a gift card to come back again! Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back again as we have been already.

Absolutely fantastic. The mac and cheese is incredible, along with many other items on the menu. The prices are definitely high, so it's a good place to splurge occasionally. I highly recommend.

One of my favorite places for happy hour on Tuesdays when they have $1/oysters! I'm here for happy hour almost every Tuesaday. It's a great place to go with friends during the week. The wings are so big and the sauce is amazing! I also love their citrus happy hour salad as well.

Service was above and beyond, especially for my friend's birthday. The staff were soo nice and accommodating, always checking on us. We got a bunch of appetizers/sides to share like fries, spinach and crab dip, brussel sprouts, and garlic noodles. I loved pretty much every dish, particularly the crab dip. The wonton chips were perfect. I also really liked the apple cider drink and pretty pink bowl. I have never had such a fun flavorful drink like that. I definitely want to come back, especially for nice occasions. The place was so well decorated for the holidays and it just felt very upscale and fancy.
